This place is full of hidden fees. My parents were there for less than 5 months and charged over 44k for a substandard stay. They are actually still trying to bill us for the room after we got them out of there. The “extra” care my father was charged for was nonexistent. He has mobility issues and would have to wait for extended periods of time after pulling the “emergency “ string. The food is terrible and the portions are very small and service was very rude. There were many times they were just plain ignored. The cleaning and laundry was laughable at best. Clothes were lost and we were constantly battling ants. Any questions to the staff took several days to get a vague answer. The medication was a joke because you had to physically hunt down a nurse to follow up on prescription refills. We have reached out to staff after we pulled them out and they said my mother, who is 85 and has dementia, was well aware of all the extra fees. My sister is just absolutely being ignored now for trying to get answers on the continued extra fees they are still being charged for. Im sure there responses to this and the impending family members reviews will make it seem like they were upfront and transparent about “extras” but I assure you it is not. Avoid this place if you care about your elderly family because this place will drain them and keep going after they leave.

I want to leave a zero rating but that is not possible. I truly am so disappointed in this place. It ended up costing my parents on a fixed income almost $11k per month when they were told $7k. There are so many hidden fees and they were charged for services they never received. When I called to ask for an explanation I was told I would get a call back. After 2 weeks and 5 calls I gave up. The hey don’t want to hear from me because they absolutely do not care. The food is not good. The portion la are small and my parents had to supplement with making their own food in their room. The place brags of chef quality meals. What a joke. We wanted to have them stay in a nice caring place but we ended up having to leave after 4.5 months because they were so disappointed and they were being charged way more than what we were told. No explanations and no accountability. This place should be called Scambury. I hope this review helps people stay away from this place and find a better place where the costs are transparent.

I can’t say enough good things about Danbury. The staff is very caring and knowledgeable about handling the care of seniors, including those with dementia. I moved my parents there in October 2022, and they are a true partner in managing their care.

The residents who need fed are RESIDENTS ARE NOT FED! 90% of showers ARE NOT GIVEN !! High incidence of UTI’s.Residents are NOT TAKEN TO THE BATHROOM!! Please, if you love your loved ones, DO NOT GO TO Danbury !! I am a nurse for 30 years and I have NEVER SEEN SUCH POOR CARE!!

Danbury Senior Living is a beautiful environment, created for Seniors. The rooms are spacious and well cared for. I have been employed here for 2 years and love working with the residents and their families. I feel appreciated and respected in this work place. All the staff know the residents names and we treat them like a priority because they are like family to us.

Not only do I work here, but my mom was a resident in the Memory Care. I never had to worry about her care. I knew she was being well taken care of and she enjoyed her time there. The nurses and care companions kept me well informed of her needs. I love the family atmosphere and genuine love and attention given to all of the residents. As a staff member, I love that I am a part of the family.

I have been here over four months and I love this place. Danburys Are perfect for me. It Draws me out of my room and into all the open areas (dining,pub,game room,fpool table,,theatre, Community )... it is also very affordable. EVERYTHING is included in the monthly rate.

My mom has been living at Danbury Senior Living in Huber Heights since April 2019. I cannot say enough positive things about the beautiful facility and the caring associates. Everyone is very loving and respectful to the residents and welcoming to your families. I DEFINITELY recommend Danbury if you are looking for a facility for your loved one.

My parents moved into Danbury in July 2018 and remained there as residents until they passed away in late 2019. They were apprehensive at first but came to establish many warm and loving relationships with residents and staff. Danbury became home as it provided a sense of comfort, security, and community. The quality of care, which always delivered with kindness, respect, and warmth, could not have been better as they transitioned to end of life. The staff also responded similarly to us as family. So thankful for the nurses, care companions and ALL of the staff at Danbury. This quarantine has been the hardest thing for me, I was used to seeing mom and eating lunch or dinner with her about 5 days a week. The staff here have made things much less difficult, as they do everything possible to help her and show how much they care. As hard as this has been I know they are keeping her safe. Cant thank them enough!

I love this place. Its so inviting and the workers and occupants are just so friendly you cant not enjoy the place. Ive only visit a family member there, but I can see myself there someday. Love all the people and socializing.

My Aunt has lived here since they opened. Everyone is always eager to help. My aunt came in as independent and has needed some assistance and they have been very helpful. My family visits weekly and love having dinner with her. Cant say enough good things about the facility and the workers.

My family has been looking to place my mother at an Assisted Living facility and found the Danbury. We toured many places and it wasnt a hard decision to choose Danbury. I like that they have nursing staff around the clock and the nurses are very knowledgeable about dementia. I have found that many places dont have a nurse all the time on site nor do they have a dementia unit. Aging in place is important to me for my mother as we dont want to move her when her health declines. This is a beautiful place to live and the staff are eager to help. Hats off to the staff at Danbury.

My family is now in the transition stage with my father. He is going to be moved from another assisted living to the Danbury. Everyone has been so helpful and we are so glad to have found this facility. It is a welcomed new facility in the Huber Heights area. We will be closer to Dad now and he will have amazing care.

My sister and I went to the information session and got to meet all of the managers who were very knowledgeable about assisted living. The director of nursing answered all of our questions and we felt at ease placing our mother at the Danbury.
