Danbury Tallmadge is truly a gem in senior living! From the moment I stepped foot in this community, I was impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and the wealth of activities available to residents. The calendar is always brimming with exciting events, from themed parties to local excursions, ensuring that every day is an adventure. The variety of apartment options is excellent, catering to different needs and preferences. Whether you're looking for a cozy studio or a spacious two-bedroom, Danbury Tallmadge has you covered. The pet-friendly policy is a huge plus, allowing residents to keep their beloved companions close. The amenities are top-notch. I love the outdoor patios and courtyards for fresh air, the bistro and pub for socializing, and the theater for entertainment. The art and craft studio, fitness room, and spa offer great opportunities for creativity and wellness. What sets Danbury Tallmadge apart is its commitment to fostering an active, engaging lifestyle. From exercise classes and educational presentations to music entertainment and pet therapy visits, there's never a dull moment. The life enrichment programs truly help residents shine and pursue their passions. The attention to health and wellness is impressive, with 24-hour on-site licensed nurses and personalized care assessments. The emergency response system in each apartment provides peace of mind for residents and their families. Practical needs are well taken care of too, with weekly housekeeping services, on-site laundry facilities, and individual climate controls in each apartment. The inclusion of Spectrum and Wi-Fi is a thoughtful touch that keeps residents connected. Danbury Tallmadge goes above and beyond in creating a supportive, enriching environment for seniors. It's not just a place to live; it's a place to thrive. I wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone seeking an exceptional senior living experience.

Wonderful care for my grandmother! The nurses, nurse aids and food servers are amazing! But the way Chad from the kitchen treats people is a disgrace! I have over heard him with the food servers. He's has no respect for anyone!

We picked Danbury because while touring, every resident we saw was happy, kind and seemed to be enjoying themselves. When Dad went there he was wheelchair bound and in rough shape. We couldn't care for him 24/7 and did our best to guide his care. Danbury did the rest! They made sure he was safe, gave him meds and meals. Now, a couple of months later, and after a lot of hard work on Dad's, Danbury's and our part - he his headed home to see how he does. We couldn't be happier with their care and if the time comes for him to return, we know he has a safe, caring place to land. Thank you, Danbury!

mmmmmm where are the reviews to date? Why did they stop at 2022? Brian's comments kind of summed it up! "Upper staff" and policy makers could use a lot of adjustments.

My Mother is in the memory care unit. My siblings and myself are happy with the facility and the services that she receives there. I would like to give a shout out to Tara and the resolution that she was able to achieve for us.

This place is awesome! The staff is friendly and you can tell they REALLY CARE about the residents. The place is clean and the food is great. If you are looking to place a loved one in assisted living or memory care, please call and ask for Dan. He is wonderful. My only regret is that I wish I found this place sooner.

Some of the staff here can be rude. The staff are clearly being put in an adversarial relationship with the families and are bearing the brunt of that 40 hours a week. I don't blame them, I blame those at the top; those making decisions and policy based on what they watched from Cable News the night before while they hide in their offices and take Zoom calls. Every time I come here, there's some sort of new rule or policy. It's pretty ridiculous how much it costs to be here while simultaneously having such a poor experience every single time I come to visit. I was promised I could bring my kids to visit when my grandmother moved in. Turns out that was a lie. No kids allowed unless you want to sit in 15 degree weather outside in the middle of winter. Sorry grandma, you're a prisoner now. Oh and we'll need your keys, home address, temperature, a KN95 shoved in your face and staff patrolling the room every 60 seconds looking in on you. Somewhere along the line, Danbury forgot they're also in the hospitality business. What I can imagine at one time may have been personal care and hospitality has been replaced with personal care and "we hate you". Update I've decided to update my review to reflect additional positive experiences I've had with the care and kitchen staff. I know that my grandmother was well taken care of here and the care takers and nurses were all very kind and professional. That matters more than my disputes with the people up front and the policy makers.
