Very pretty facility but lacking a convenient place to visit. You visit inside the front door in a windbreaker exposed to inclement cold whenever someone opens the door.The staff lacks training in the use of Dyna splints, stating it is broken when either they dont know how to use it or are lazy.

My parents moved into Vitalia in July, 2020 after searching many senior living facilities in the area. Their one bedroom apartment was only 6 months old and beautifully done. Given the pandemic situation, I was not able to help them get settled in. However, the staff was there to assist with furniture delivery and placement, hanging of pictures, putting furniture together, hanging curtains and everything it took to make them comfortable right away. They have settled in nicely, made several new friends and are well cared for by the staff.

My mother has lived at Vitalia for almost 2 years now. The building is new, fresh and clean. The staff is marvelous. Pre -Covid when I was able to visit, the staff always knew my name when I walked in and who my mother is which felt really special. Even now, they somehow recognize me behind my mask:) it wasnt easy getting my mother to move out of her house where she was leaving her comfort zone and many many memories. Vitalia has gone out of their way to make that transition as smooth as possible. I would live there if they would let me!

My Mom has been a resident at Vitalia Strongsville since it opened. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. They keep the residents safe and well during these very trying times. Many activities and functions have been limited due to covid, but the staff remains positive and helpful. My Mom is happy to be there and we cant wait to have things open up a bit so we can be together again and Vitalia can reopen their doors and get back to the active vibrant community it was! Hoping soon!

I was a VItalia Strongsville Independent living plus resident for two years. When I arrived at VItalia I was self-sufficient but needed something. Two plus years of taking care of my wife till her death had taken a toll on my mental and physical health. Fox Therapy, specifically Meggi, Barbie, and Cara, whipped me back in shape. At my first evaluation I was only able to walk 150 feet and I had given up on my recumbent trike. After many months of therapy I was able to walk 3600 feet, load and unload my trike from the car and of course ride my trike. I also lost over 50 pounds. Their therapy was compassionate, demanding and fun. They along with the entire VItalia staff also subtly worked on my mental health. Mindy no matter what her title always had time to talk and boost my spirits, even laughing at my bad jokes.When I was diagnosed with CHF the staff stepped up to help me change my lifestyle, especially Angela head of culinary.If you have a pet VItalia is very pet friendly. Oliver, my cat, was far more popular than me.I left VItalia because I felt the COVID-19 restrictions were undoing all gains I mentioned above. I currently live in a Independent Living Community within a Senior living community. If VItalias next phase was available I would still be part of the VItalia community. I miss the staff and residents immensely!

Very beautiful!! the staff is awesome!! its been a while since Ive made a visit here. the last time i was here maybe a year ago, they had a very awesome aid by the name of Danielle. she was so good with the residents i felt so comfortable when she was around. she was very caring. i want someone like her to take care of me when its time.

My mother lives at Vitalia of Strongsville. The administration and staff are so embracing to my mom and our family. We are very involved with her care and Vitalia rolls with the changes, offering help, suggestions, support and hugs. The residents rock, too! Its a new facility with the best amenities, especially the rustic appearance with lots of windows, modern decor and bright living spaces. The nursing aides, nurses are the center to this senior living home. Would recommend!

So far as a new facility, they have bent over backwards to try to help us with our mom. They are working diligently to open and to get her there in a timely fashion. We have been so impressed with the staff. The facility is wonderful and the mission statement fits with our care and love for our mom. We look forward to her being quite happy.

My father lives at Vitalia. After a terrible experience at a nursing facility, this has been a wonderful experience. We feel welcome, my father is well cared for when he needs assistance. He is checked on regularly because he doesnt always go to a common area, he loves the sides, nurses, servers, and anyone he interacts with. My mother passed away 3 months ago after 70 years of marriage. Vitalia has been a godsend during this difficult time as he has peers to interact with, staff who cares, plus is, his family. Vitalia is clean, large and spacious, and bright. The food is excellent and residents can choose when and what they want to eat.

This place is beautiful, run by caring staff and the food is marvelous. We looked at five different facilities in Strongsville, where we live. We picked Vitalia Strongsville due to its ratio of staff to residents in memory care. WE have our own pass card to enter the facility and can go visit at any time. We could not be happier with her level of care.

Mom has not moved in yet, but the staff has been extremely accommodating and kind. Danielle in leasing has been wonderful to work with handling every detail for moms move. Noel in maintenance was most helpful hanging wall sconces and assembling a bookcase. Nicole at the front desk is always pleasant and has answered all of my questions. The building is absolutely gorgeous and is so warm and welcoming.5 stars
