My Mom has been here for 6 years and she has always been well cared for. I check in daily at various times during the day. The Eden Vista staff is a blessing for my family.

My Dad entered the facility at the end of March 2024 and passed away September 2nd 2024. This man did not like to bother the staff for anything, and I know he didn't ask for much as he'd call me to come change his ostomy bag at times or to assist him with something. He would complain that even when he'd push the button, it would take an hour for someone to respond. He called me one time as his ostomy bag was leaking and I found out he was laying in his own feces for hours!! Even Becca verified that his call button was pushed at 5:30 am and he waited to call me until 7 because he didn't want to wake me up. For the most part, I learned to pick my battles. The staff were friendly enough and helpful, but the cleaning team left a lot to be desired. Early on, he was able to change his own briefs and place them in the trash and he could go to the bathroom and empty his ostomy. They were supposed to take out his trash daily. I can't count the times I had to take out his trash...or go looking for can liners as they would not put a new liner in it if they did empty the trash. Eventually my Dad became bedridden. The staff would open his window and adjust the room temp because of the smell and he would get cold...and they wouldn't come back to close the window, and he was unable to get to it himself. I had to put a sign on the window and temp to leave it alone! Well, if they took the trash out like they were supposed to, daily, it wouldn't have been so bad. His bed linens were supposed to be changed weekly and once he was bedridden, unless I tracked someone down to assist me with changing them, he'd have stayed in his dirty sheets. They would go and check on him over night, but then leave the big room light on! I had to put signs up to remind them to turn it off! Cut to the chase....My Poppa passed on Labor Day, 9/2/24, and a day later, we were clearing his room, and I had to go and track down his wheelchair!! THEY WENT INTO MY DEAD FATHER'S ROOM THE DAY AFTER HE DIED AND TOOK HIS WHEELCHAIR!!! I had no words and still fume about it to this day! I should not have had track down anything from that man's room! Today, November 12th of 2024, over the last month, I've been asking for the prorated rate of Dad's rent back for the month of September since we had his room cleaned out by September 4th. I received a response back in October that they would be following up with the home office. I've reached out twice this month with no response. I DID put a nanny cam in his room but should have left it functioning after he passed and was taken away so I could see who may have taken what once he was gone. I suggest you do the same wherever you choose to place your loved one. It's an Ohio law that you can!

I am speaking for the Hubbard family. We had a family member staying at Eden Vista during her final days. Her care was absolutely amazing. The nurses, assistants, and housekeeping were so wonderful. We couldn't have had better care for our loved one. We were beyond thankful!

My mother will be 96 soon, and the care she receives as one slowly losing her faculties is fantastic. Everyone of the staff is kind to her, and the other residents often reach out to help her. I couldn't be happier.

We recently moved my mother into The Landing of Stow. The staff has been so kind and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their residents. It really feels like a family atmosphere. My mother loves all the different activities they offer and says the food is delicious. We couldn’t have picked a better home for her.

I have been very happy with The Landing of Stow for both my mother (age 89) and my mother-in-law (age 92). My mother moved into Assisted Living in May, 2020, and when I was looking for a facility for my mother-in-law in the Fall of 2021, I did not hesitate one bit to move her from her condo in Warren, Ohio, to The Landing of Stow. Due to a decline at one point for both moms, they were moved to the Memory Care neighborhood and both were on hospice care for awhile. However, due to the excellent care provided by the caring staff at The Landing of Stow, as well as outside providers, they are both now living back in Assisted Living.a real rarity.to continue to live their best lives going forward. The ENTIRE managerial staff is warm and welcoming to the residents and family members alike. In fact, they make it a point to interact with the residents and to call them by name. As for the floor caregivers who provide the daily care to the residents, they are wonderful as well. In addition, I would be remiss if I did not give a shout out to the receptionists, food service, housekeeping, the beauty salon, and maintenance employees, too. The Activities Director is always coming up with unique ideas for the residents’ enjoyment. Bingo is huge at The Landing of Stow! The activities that the residents enjoy in both Assisted Living and Memory Care are meant to be fun, but to also keep things moving both mentally and physically. In addition, The Landing of Stow offers on-site Physical and Occupational Therapies. In my case, the moms have worked with both PT and OT, and Melissa and Jessica are wonderful. As the sole family member responsible for both moms, I don’t know what I would do without such a supportive Landing of Stow family as the ladies continue on their respective journeys.

Our Father who is now 95 years young went to the Landing of Stow, in November 2021. It wasn't his choice to be there but he needed 24/7 care. Although he wasn't for sure of this new living space, he started doing activities and has made so many friends. When us girls go to visit he tells us about all the exciting things he did through the week and what he had for his meals, he said they serve a lot of food there. Now after these few months that he has been there, he seems to be settling in and no more talk of going home. He is doing great with the therapy that he is getting and loves the staff. Our family would definitely recommend the Landing of Stow for your loved ones. Their facility is beautiful and the staff is warm and friendly.

At 92, my mom is very happy at the Landing, and I am overjoyed at the continuing care she receives. She can be a bit cranky about the food, which is to be expected, but I supplement it with fresh fruit, brie, and Khalua. She has also learned to do so many things she wasn't interested in before. Finally, while it will be great to break out of this place occasional, but she understands the importance of wearing a mask and staying safe.

My grandmother has lived at the Landing for about a year now and has nothing but nice things to say about the staff there. Even when extremely busy- the nurses, aides and activities director are always attentive and kind to her. They go out of their way to make her feel special, respected and cared for. The management has always been attentive and helpful when we’ve inquired about different things.

This facility is a minute away from my sister, so we moved my mother from Buffalo to Ohio. They have been wonderful to her. The place is always clean and you can tell they care about their patients. I would definitely recommend it.

I’ve been meaning to write a review on this place since Christmas but got a little busy. In December my boyfriend invited me to the landing for a Christmas party I wasn’t sure because I’ve been to some similar places but I went. It was amazing kind of a Bed & Breakfast/Hotel really homey but classy as well not at all what I expected. It was so nice to see how they catered to both their residents & their families. When my boyfriend invited me there for Eater I went without hesitation. Once again fabulous for all. There was such a nice buffet & they even had an omelette station. After brunch they had an Easter Egg Hunt ! I would love for my parents to be in a place as nice as the landing. Thanks for the eye opener. Sorry not only was the place great but so was the Staff!

Mom needed 24-hour care with living. We toured several different Assisted Living Communities in our area. We chose The Landing of Stow because of the people who work there. Each resident receives one-on-one, hands-on care and assistance in daily living. The caregivers are compassionate, kind and friendly. The Activities Director goes out of her way to encourage Mom to do things--Bingo, Pakino, corn hole, rosary, outings, and more. The Receptionists at the front desk do so much more than greet people. They are friendly, accommodating, and never forget to help us schedule an appointment for Mom--like getting her hair done. The food is delicious and the Wait Staff efficient and kind. The Landing of Stow is run and managed by true professionals from the Manager to Nursing to Marketing. They know every resident by name, likes and dislikes, special needs, etc. We just cannot say enough good things about the experience for my Mom. She went from laying around in bed doing nothing to being fully active and enjoying life. Thank you to all at The Landing of Stow who have contributed to her success and happiness in living.

The Landings of Stow has been the perfect assisted living facility for my mother. The care they give is outstanding! They offer Physical therapy, exercise classes, and activities throughout the day. My mother is more active now than she has been in a long time. The Landings has a very bright cheery atmosphere along with the welcoming staff and other residents.The management, nursing staff and aids are wonderful. If she needs anything they are right there to help her. I do not have to worry that she is being taken care of properly. They are honest and are truly look after the well being of their residents. I highly recommend you visit the Landings of Stow if you are looking for an assisted living facility for a loved one.

The Landing of Stow is one of the best Assisted Living facilities I have been to. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. So many great events are held here that the residents really enjoy! Such a warm and inviting environment. Would most certainly recommend!

My mother has been living at this facility for over two years. She passed away 5 days ago and I have not heard one word of condolence from management . It's not that hard to say a simple I'm sorry. I must say the nurses and most aides were very helpful and sweet, especially Michelle and Karen. The food is getting a bit better. They are making more soups , although some food still inedible . I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this facility to anyone

We could not be happier with our decision to place my husband’s mother at The Landings of Stow. I looked at every facility in the area and kept coming back to The Landings. It is the only place where I felt like they were listening to our concerns rather than trying to sell us a room. She had been there for several months and we haven’t been disappointed with our choice. My mother-in-law likes living there, and we know she is safe and well cared for. You will not go wrong with this choice.

This facility has gone downhill tremendously over the past year, and residents as well as staff are leaving in droves. There is constant staff turnover, and although staff members try to do their best, nobody seems to be in charge to lead the effort. The dining room no longer opens on time, and service is really slow. Moreover, food served in the dining room is often inedible. It used to be that when residents didn't show up for a meal, a staff member checked on them, but that hasn't been occurring lately. With the constant staff turnover there is no continuity in times medications are dispensed. CORPORATE MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO PROVIDE ATTENTION TO THIS FACILITY!!!!
