Today is August 28th, 2022. I have now been a Caregiver for over 2 years with the Comfort Keepers office located in Springfield, Ohio. In the last 2 years Comfort Keepers was flexible with me when my Husband Charlie died 2 weeks ago, my Brother Bob passed away of Covid, while I am Caregiving for my Mom and during school while I am graduating from school in 2 months. I love my flexibility, Clients and their benefits! ❤ UPDATE 3/7/2023 ❤ Today is 3/7/2023, in July, 2023, I will be employed by Comfort Keepers for 3 years as an In Home Caregiver. As a Caregiver I am beyond impressed and grateful that we are offered plenty of Continuing Education opportunities. We learn every single skill to give our Clients our very best. I have even learned how to best Caregive for my Elderly Parents. My personal situation is now changing sometimes daily with my elderly parents needs. Comfort Keepers works with my every single sudden schedule need as best as they possibly can. We have used the services of Comfort Keepers for several years. In the beginning, we were nervous to have a stranger to our home. Our caregiver, Vicki, quickly became like a family member to us & I don't know what we would do without her! Also, the office staff, Kelsey, Missy, Kim and Alice, are accommodating when additional hours or changes are needed to our schedule. We had an amazing experience with Comfort Keepers. Our dads caregivers became part of our family. Steffany, Donna, Angela and Leisa especially went above and beyond in making my dad comfortable. He looked forward to seeing them and truly enjoyed their company. They did so much to help my sister and I. We couldnt have survived the last year without the help and care we received from Comfort Keepers. I want to also thank our schedule coordinator, Kim for doing such an amazing job in keeping all of dads shifts covered. I often said that she has the hardest job of everyone there and yet she was always there for us and always took care of things for us.! The scheduling has been very good. Seems like they need to do more training for working with the elderly. Some are very good about jumping right in and doing things, but others just want to sit if not specifically asked to do something. It has been a great help to our mother especially taking her to grocery etc.

Have worked for Comfort Keepers since January 2016. The company truly cares about its clients, employees and community. I am proud to work for an organization that gives back to its community on a regular basis. This year, they collected over 2,600 pounds of food to donate to local seniors in need. Every fall they raise thousands of dollars for the Alzheimers Association and every winter they partner with local students to make Holiday cards for local seniors in nursing homes. How amazing it that?

We used Comfort Keepers to take care of my disabled adult brother when our mother, his normal caretaker, fell and broke her hip on Christmas Eve and was hospitalized for several weeks. We had two different ladies come help with him. Both were outstanding! We have made sure that my brothers caseworker has an open account with this office so in the unfortunate event something happens to my mother again, they can come in and save the day! Fully recommend!

My family and my friend have all been very pleased with the quality of care. The caregivers are well-trained, reliable and specialize in senior care. They have a remarkably deep understanding of clients needs and are sensitive to complex family dynamics. Comfort Keepers also invests in educating their employees-caregivers. Theyve been educated in the specific needs (physical and psychological) of the people they are caring for.

Its not only emotionally difficult to search for an in home care service, but physically difficult as well...this isnt a restaurant with 1000+ reviews type of situation. My grandparents are getting older and the hard reality is that they need more and more assistance with activities of daily life - cooking, light cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. Luckily, I found Comfort Keeperswho went above and beyond my expectations of finding a reliable Senior Care Provider for my grandparents in Springfield, OH. I did my research and called around, but the competitive pricing of this agency as well as the exceptional customer service made me confident that I was making the right decision. Within a couple days, the agency set my grandparents up with a caregiver that was a perfect match in personality and skills to my grandparents needs. I know that my grandparents livelihood increased and the worry of my parents decreases. They are being fed with tasty home cooked meals, their home is clean, taken care of as well as their lives have been improved with the help of their capable and compassionate in home caregiver.

My 75-year old mother was suddenly stricken with terminal lung cancer in July 2015. The medical staff at the hospital told us that the only option for my Mom was hospice care at home. They recommended several home care agencies in Dayton, Ohio of which Comfort Keepers impressed us most with their sincere concern for my Moms and familys well-being combined with knowledge of hospice care requirements. During the next four months until my Mom died in November 2015, Comfort Keepers supplied excellent caregivers who provided competent and compassionate care in three 8-hour shifts, 24 hours a day. Each of the caregivers was kind and attentive to my Moms needs and helped alleviate much of the stress and worry on the part of the family members. The on-call staff of Comfort Keepers were always available by phone to address any concerns or questions we might have. Comfort Keepers in home care service is reasonably-priced for the quality of staff they provide. At my Moms funeral, I had wished that each of the caregivers who had so faithfully and professionally attended to my Mom could have been present to hear the praises and appreciation from myself and our family members for their professional and caring service to my Mom in her final months. Unfortunately, they were already assigned to care for other aging and sick clients, and understandably could not attend the service. Thank you again Comfort Keepers for all youve done in helping my family though this difficult time.

I live 1000 miles away from my Mom. The peace of mind our family is given from our Springfield, Ohio Comfort Keeper team is immeasurable. Each one of them cares for her in ways we would if we could be with her. Mom cant remember names, but she lovingly calls each of them ‘my friend. Each day full of household tasks, meals, significant safety issues, and some difficult personal needs are done with great care. When Mom fell and hit her face on the bathtub, having her ‘friend hold her and help her; priceless. Fearful nights when she puts chairs in front of the doors, she is calmed and reassured. Wondering where her parents were, her ‘friend talked with her for hours about her childhood. Her family of ‘friends never tire of looking at pictures, doing puzzles, walking, and laughing with her at her favorite TV shows. They hold her hand, they hug her, care for her as if she were their own mother. There are countless things our family of ‘friends do each day to keep Mom safe, healthy, and happy. The outstanding behind-the-scenes support team are professional, personable, and always put Moms needs first. They facilitate all Moms many scheduling and caregiving administrative issues seamlessly. When I call Mom to tell her good-night and I can hear my 90 year old mother from 1000 miles away say, I had a good day today! that feeling, that gift in this long journey for Mom, is due totally to her Comfort Keeper family of ‘friends. They give her family comfort, too.
