When visiting Vitalia of Solon, each one of our party of 5 were all highly impressed! Every person we encountered on our tour day was friendly and welcoming. The facilities were comfortable, clean, and inviting. There seems to be something for everyone in this lovely community in a great location. Sheryl really listened to our family and our tour was tailored to my MIL and FIL's needs and also their interests. They showed us what an active senior lifestyle can be when a community values each of its members.

This is such a beautiful community.I have had the pleasure of spending some time there. I met some wonderful residents and also had lunch while I was there. The food looks so advertising appetizing. This place or should I say a place to call home is amazing!! The staff were very polite and welcoming. I came in today and they were having a Fathers Day brunch. Everyone looked happy, me and my family felt the energy!! The food was spectacular and flavorful!!! Would recommend to anyone looking.

The facility is absolutely beautiful. The staff professional and caring. I am especially impressed by the Activities Director Annette Dendy. She plans speakers, education, activities, social events, trips and concerts. Annette loves all her clients like family and it seems the feelings are mutual. I had the opportunity to speak at an event whereby I observed all of this first hand.

I just want to let you all know that Solon is a great place. I have volunteered a few times and the staff and residents are wonderful. The community is beautiful. My mother has been a resident of Vitalia of Solon for 2 years, and we are as happy with the facility and staff today as we were when my mom first arrived. The Executive Director, Jessica, is responsive and prioritizes quality care for the residents.Under Jessica’s leadership, my mom enjoys her life at Vitalia of Solon. This same high level of care and service can be seen in the staff as well! Whether it’s Carla in the dinning room, Jennifer at the front desk, Tariko from operations, the chef, the housekeeping staff, or Tim from maintenance, the level of care and service is prioritized and seen on a daily basis. As with all senior living facilities, issues arise, but what I appreciate is the manner in which issues are resolved, respectfully and with integrity. My mom is thriving, and my brother and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to place our mom at Vitalia of Solon.

It is like heaven on earth. The staff and the residents are so welcoming. It truly has everything anyone would need to make this place this home. It’s beautiful inside and out just like the people I had the pleasure of meeting. If anyone was or is looking for a place to call home, they need to look no further. If I could rate it a 10 I would have. Don’t take my word, come out get the grand tour and see it for yourself. It’s worth your time.

In trying to find an independent living community for my mother who is relocating to Cleveland, I decided to take a tour at Vitalia of Solon. From the moment I walked in the door, I was impressed by the open layout and beautiful decor in the lobby, as well as the professional and friendly greeting I received at the front desk. Sheryl and Heather then spent time with me, "getting to know" my Mom and her interests and needs. I really appreciated their warmth and interest in addressing all the concerns and questions that I had about the facility. The tour was comprehensive and I could tell this is a well-maintained building with many thoughtful touches, for example, there are outlets in every apartment that connect to an emergency generator in case of a power outage. This community has a lot to offer!

The wellness team at Vitalia Solon is truly top-notch. They have made our parent, and our entire family, feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for from day one. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond have made an incredible difference in our experience. The facility itself is beautiful and reasonably well-maintained. Unfortunately, our experience with management has been very different. There have been ongoing concerns around competence and follow-through, which has led to frustration and a lack of confidence. Most concerning is the front desk experience in the assisted living (AL) area. To be clear, this does not reflect the independent living (IL) front desk, where staff have been consistently pleasant and welcoming. In AL, however, interactions have often felt dismissive and unwelcoming to the point where some residents seem hesitant or uncomfortable approaching the desk for help. This is their home, and no resident should feel that way. A front-facing role like this should set the tone and residents should be greeted warmly, engaged by name, and made to feel seen and valued every day. That has not been our experience. Quite honestly, if it weren’t for the wellness staff, our overall impression would be very different. They are the reason this place shines.

the staff in wellness are the best there very helpfull and there always smiling and willing to help the nurses and med partners and care partners are awesome on day shift ! i think the ED is terrible she doesn't speak to famiily or staff so far she's the worst they have had ! !she doesn't care about the residents nor her staff she ! we would like to see someone in the postion that interact with the families and staff more ! the ED [name removed]is terrible !!!

Toured yesterday with my 91-year-old father-in-law and was BLOWN AWAY of how BEAUTIFUL this place is!! It feels more like a cruise ship or a luxury resort than an assisted living facility. EVERYONE was SOOO friendly! And we just put our deposit down today! AND finallySheryl wasIS AMAZING!! My entire family LOVE her!! What a genuinely kind soul and WONDERFUL person!! She ROCKS!! I toured this facility and was very impressed. The halls and rooms had so much light. I checked a few different rooms and now have to decide which option to go with. I couldn't find one thing that I didn't like.

I been here 3yrs and the management team here is terrible they barely speak especially the E.D she never speaks she unapproachable and that’s been since she been here I feel like we don’t have a safe haven all of the department are close friend and the ED is hire all her friends from the outside and that’s not fair for us here ! I feel like everything goes to [name removed] if you ask a question that concerns the DOW and the last DOW went to her for everything like he’s the nurse why do he need to go to her for wellness ! [name removed] is the worse ED !!

Vitalia Solon is a beautiful and warm community. We felt at home right from the front door. Sheryl allowed us to experience a delicious lunch in the dining room and then gave us a tour. The people all seem very happy and were out socializing in the common areas. It appears the residents can be as private or social as they would like and the staff were all very friendly and seemed to know everyone by name. What a wonderful family. It honestly felt like a vacation. It is nice to see that this can be a potential option should we want or need to move our dad into a community where he knows many of the people already and is so conveniently located.

Vitalia is indeed an active adult community in Solon. Even though I haven’t moved in, yet, the staff, especially Sheryl, has been so warm and welcoming. They have invited me to happy hours, luncheons, dinners and celebrations before I make the much anticipated move. I look forward to moving there to have exercise sessions, card games and Mah Jongg games and many other activities. I look forward to travelogues and movies, lectures and outings.

My parents, both in their nineties, had a wonderful experience visiting Vitalia in Solon. Everyone we met was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The staff even offered to accommodate my parents’ specific dietary requests. Following the visit, Cheryl graciously stopped by our home to deliver a delicious cheesecake freshly prepared by the chef, accompanied by a thoughtful handwritten note. We were deeply touched by this gesture. Vitalia is truly an impressive senior living community that we will seriously consider, as my parents felt genuinely cared for and warmly welcomed there.

My father was there for 4 months. He fell and later died. I don’t blame Vitalia for that but no one even talked to us when we were moving his things out of his apt. My mother was at Anna Maria and they would have gone looking for her if she didn’t show up in 24 hours. Disappointed in how things played out. It was not what I envisioned.

Vitalia of Solon has an upbeat atmosphere. The staff is there to help/support you in anyway they can. Memory care has a fabulous schedule and keeps their clients safe and busy. I had lunch in the dining room the other day and can’t complement the chef enough. Delicious salmon, touch© to the chef. I encourage those that are looking for their loved one to have all their needs met, Vitalia should be one of your places to visit.

Moving your parents into a senior living facility is a huge move and we thought we had a fantastic place for them…boy were we wrong. It is so terrible how Vital treats it’s residents. The facility was constructed as cheaply as possible (according to the actual maintenance man). The management has yet to step up resolving issues. The kitchen is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Granted we are all dealing with the ramifications of Covid and the economy but give the seniors a decent meal. The kitchen constantly runs out of food, has gone through a half dozen cooks, and has no idea what a healthy balanced meal is. So frustrating to see your parents have to live through this. Most of the positive reviews were from early residents who have either moved out or are equally upset. I would never recommend this place but still hold hope that they will fix these things. If you are thinking of moving here, please talk to some current residents and have a few meals. BTW…here is todays “grilled cheese” sandwich. The kitchen doesn’t even know to melt the cheese!!!! Also the elevator is out of order monthly…how does that work for folks in walkers!!!

My wife and I have really been amazed at all the great activities that are provided here at Vitalia in Solon, Ohio. Katie, our activities director, keeps us motivated everyday with fun fitness programs. She leads us in all types of exercises including Thai Chi, lightweights, seated cardio/dance and drumming to music. She is also very creative and shares her skills with interesting arts and crafts projects. We keep well informed via virtual classes, and we relive our own travel experiences by watching the weekly travelogues. We love to keep physically and mentally active and find that Vitalia independent living a great way to do it. Bill and Carole Mason

Vitalia Solon is an outstanding senior apartment building which I moved into September 3, 2020. My apartment is large, elegant, delightful. The building features a fitness center with daily classes, a game room, a theater for programs (virtually) and dining room. The staff are wonderful, caring and always know your name. I am so pleased to be living here!

Five stars doesn't nearly begin to rate the incredible Vitalia Solon. For months, I searched for a place for my parents, who were moving from another state that they could call home. I looked at many facilites throughout the suburbs and EVERY time I looked somewhere, I compared it to Vitalia. At this point, the facility hadn't even openend yet! The sales staff weren't just selling a property, they were selling the feeling of home. The apartments and common spaces are beyond beautiful, with every detail thought of, from gorgeous decor and wide hallways to art and photographs that make each resident feel welcome. What makes Vitalia a ten out of five stars is that it's not about the gorgeous building, it's the staff. Each staff member, from the moment one walks in, is warm, welcoming, helpful and generous with their time. Every staff member, no matter position has a smile on their face and is genuinely happy to be there. Every question I have, is answered with kindness, intelligence, and I am in awe of how attentive the staff is to not just the residents, but to the families as well. Their main priority is not to get residents into the building but to build a life and home for each resident, getitng to know them and their needs. We have been incredibly impressed with Vitalia Solon and feel as though there is weight lifted off our shoulders. To know that our parents are not just in a building, but have found a home, no matter what their needs are, is exactly what I hoped for.
