Reviews The Commons of Providence
April 2024
My mom has been at The Commons of Providence Assisted Living facility for nine months. The only way to describe her lifestyle is "flourishing!" This entire facility is top-notch. The caring and compassionate nursing, administrative, and activities staff, to the well-maintained buildings and grounds, to the meticulous housekeeping staff, to the delicious food and serving staff, (and anyone in between) - every facet is first class. We have been awed by the communication and underlying sense of cooperation between all areas of staffing. Never once have we heard "that's not my job" uttered! The staff not only cares for the residents, but there seems to be a genuine caring for one another. The residents are treated like family, with love and understanding, and we feel beyond blessed that we have chosen such an amazing facility.

My sisters and I brought our mom to the Commons of Providence the first part of January. We could not be happier with the excellent care they're giving her. There are so many activities and they include her in everything. She is fitting in so nicely and making new friends. If you're looking for a care facility for your love one I highly recommend the Commons of Providence.

Mom's three years at TCOP assisted living were great. Even thru the pandemic the staff went out of their way to make the residents stay even better. But just day to day the staff is amazing and that includes every member. The care, concern and compassion given is exceptional. TCOP is definitely a place to check out for your loved ones.

I took care of my mother for 10 years she had Alzheimer disease. After she passed I started working at The Commons of Providence Assisted living. It was like my calling to take care of elderly people. If I would have known how much the staff cares about the residents and the way they treat them as if they were family I would have placed my mom here. I have been working with this company for 24 years. And this is where Home is here. Thank- you for you have done for me. 🙂

My mother in law has been in the assisted living at Providence for 3 years and I could not be happier with her care. They treat her like family. Through covid they were OUTSTANDING at trying to keep us informed with weekly phone calls or emails updating us as to the status of covid with staff and residents. There were very few cases of covid over that time. They were always transparent with us. She is in a safe, friendly environment. They truly work with the family in designing a care plan that works with varying needs. I highly recommend Providence.

Had Mom here for short term rehab, and Mom in Law lives in adjacent low assistance condos and nothing but good to say as far as I can tell. I would recommend it to friends.

This place is great. They look after the residences like their own family.

The Commons of Providence is a wonderful place for older citizens. My Grandma lived there for approx 4 years. They took care of her like she was family and always did what was best for her. Thank you for all you do for your resident's.
July 2017
Mom was at the Commons at Providence for a year before she passed. We cannot say enough about the quality of the assisted living center there down to every last detail. At a high level, the Commons is clean and beautifully decorated. The apartments are large enough to give residents a sense of independence and quality of life. The people, senior management, nurses, aides, cleaning crews, dining room staff, maintenance, and social director and not in any particular order, are all so very personable, nice, and most of all, treat all of the patients with such care, as if they were family. Our mom thought she would hate it there, and at first she did moving out of her home at 93, but she turned the corner and grew to love the residents and staff as though they were family. They (Angel, Jane, Raynell, Betsy, Ed, and several other nurses and staff got her to do things for them (playing beach ball and bingo) that we never in a million years thought Mom would do. If you are in a situation where you need to get a higher level of care for your parents or loved ones, this is where to go! Not a single regret, except we wish she lived a bit longer to enjoy it more, or moved a bit sooner......
