It was clear they truly cared about his well-being and comfort, not just as a resident, but as a person. Even in his final days, the team went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and surrounded by care. They were also incredibly supportive to our family ” always patient, understanding, and communicative. Losing him has been very hard, but it brings us peace knowing he was so well looked after by such a dedicated group of people. We’ll always be thankful for the warmth, dignity, and compassion they showed him.

My grandfather stayed at this facility for a little over a year before passing away from cancer. Initially I tried to persuade him to move down to nashville to be closer to the rest of our family. But after touring the Vista Veranda, I fully supported his decision to stay there. The staff truly does treat each other and the residents as family. I’ve worked 15 years in the medical field, and I don’t think I’ve ever come across another long term facility that provides the personalized care and attention that this staff provides to their patients. I highly recommend Vista Veranda for your loved ones!

A friend of mine was placed here last year due to an onset of dementia. I have visited numerous times to check in on him and I have to admit that this is a very nice facility. Each person has their own room and they’re allowed to customize it to their liking. The staff are friendly and attentive. One person in particular, Sarah Beth, is phenomenal. She seems to always be around when I’m there and is always willing to help me with my special requests. She’s personable, professional, and makes my friend feel like he’s still important, through every interaction she has with him. If you’re looking for a clean, friendly, and caring facility, I would check this place out. Thank you for all you do Vista Veranda staff!

I am incredibly grateful to have found Vista, Veranda for my mom. From the moment we walked through the doors February 2023 we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism by the staff. My mom had to leave for a few months and when she returned the staff and residence were at the door to welcome her back with open arms and love. I can’t tell you how this had such a positive impact on her and us. The facility is always clean, organized, and inviting, which gives me great peace of mind. My mom enjoys the variety of activities they offer, from Bingo to social events. The staff is attentive and communicates with me regularly about my mom’s care and any updates. I’ve noticed a positive change in my mom’s well-being since moving here, and I can’t thank the team enough for their kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend!

It is a very difficult decision to place your parent in an assisted living community. One we didn't take lightly. We wanted the very best care for our mom. Vista Veranda is that facility with staff that are helpful and kind. The facility is beautifully decorated, clean and cheerful. They call frequently with updates (even though I'm there almost everyday) and genuinely care for her and the other residents. I love that there are so many activities for them to participate in both in and out of the facility. I know 100% that mom is receiving excellent care and it eases our mind to know she is safe, taken care of and loved. Do not hesitate to move your loved one to Vista Veranda. Excellent facility with caring, well trained staff.

Vista Veranda is a wonderful community! The facility itself is well maintained and clean, the staff and residents are so friendly and truly happy every time you go in. The residents are always kept busy with great activities that are appropriate for adults. The management team has been consistent for a very long time which also says a lot. Both of my parents have lived at Vista Veranda, my mother in the memory unit and my father in the independent/assisted living. I cannot say enough good things about Vista Veranda in Ravenna. The staff is friendly, very competent and professional, but still makes the residents and guests feel like family. My mother has lived there for over a year and she loves it. Like any major decision we did a lot of research and believe this was a great move. It truly has a family feel and everyone bends over backwards to make the residents and family members feel at home. The functions they hold for the residents and their family are great . They go above and beyond to communicate with me and keep me in the loop on my mother’s care. During this virus we are experiencing they were ahead of the curve in taking precautions to keep the residents safe and communicated that with me personally. We could not be more pleased with the level of care and compassion the staff have for their residents. My mother is participating in most of the activities they offer and says she is doing more now than she has in years. I defiantly recommend Vista Veranda to anyone. The staff made this transition smoother than I imagined and the ongoing care is amazing.

My mother spent six weeks at Vista Veranda during 2019. Previously spending time in three other nursing facilities I wasn’t sure what to expect. The staff, doctors, and nurses went above and beyond in every aspect. My mother always felt comfortable and at home while living at Vista Veranda. We were very pleased with the services my mother received at Vista Veranda. The staff - management, nurses, aides, kitchen, maintenance - were responsive, friendly, and skilled. Management went out of their way to help with the transition and to ensure my mom’s needs were being met. Every phone call and email from family was promptly returned and my mother was very well attended to. There are a variety of events and programming that residents can choose to participate in The facilities are clean and comfortable. Going into an assisted living facility is rarely anyone’s preference, but if fully independent living is no longer an option, I can recommend Vista Veranda without hesitation.

Vista Veranda is a wonderful facility with such a caring and supportive staff. They really get to know each residents needs and really go out of their way to make them feel at home. In memory care you should hear the laughter between residents and staff, it would make your heart soar. Memory care has a separate living and dining area. There’s always 2 aides working there with additional staff always stepping in at mealtimes. The program coordinators have so many activities planned for the residents all the time and many special events for all the families. The staff really makes this a warm and homey place for your loved ones to live.

You know that phrase A Place for Mom well this was it for us. Knowing it was coming, we spent several months visiting and interviewing different facilities. We knew immediately this would be the perfect fit for mom. Our mother had been living at Vista Veranda (formally known as Brookdale) since 2013. The decor is homey and calming and the overall atmosphere is very family oriented. She was in memory care, which is a secured and lockdown unit, so we never had to worry about her wandering off. They have private rooms, but also offered shared rooms. I can’t say enough praises about the staff; the care that she received was always top-notch, she was not just cared for, but loved. Meals were great with a bounty of choices offered. A monthly calendar was always provided to let you know when and what activities were coming up. No matter how small, every holiday was made special centered on family time and creating more memories. When your loved one needs a special place to live, this is it. Thank you for everything Vista Veranda. We will forever be grateful to you.

I have been in many other AL's and skilled nursing communities and this is by far one of the best. Olivia, the ED, has an excellent staff. She and they all have the residents best interests at heart. We really appreciate how they welcomed us to the family and keep us informed .
