Both of my parents have lived at Vista Veranda, my mother in the memory unit and my father in the independent/assisted living. I cannot say enough good things about Vista Veranda in Ravenna. The staff is friendly, very competent and professional, but still makes the residents and guests feel like family. The facility is lovely and well-taken care of and the food is always good with a few recipes being exceptional. I would not hesitant to recommend Vista Veranda.

It is a very difficult decision to place your parent in an assisted living community. One we didn't take lightly. We wanted the very best care for our mom. Vista Veranda is that facility with staff that are helpful and kind. The facility is beautifully decorated, clean and cheerful. They call frequently with updates (even though I'm there almost everyday) and genuinely care for her and the other residents. I love that there are so many activities for them to participate in both in the out of the facility. I know 100% that mom is receiving excellent care and it eases our mind to know she is safe, taken care of and loved. Do not hesitate to move your loved one to Vista Veranda. Excellent facility with caring, well trained staff.

Since partnering with this facility, and building a great relationship with the team, the residents and the families, all I can say is WOW! This team truly cares about every single resident that lives here. The quality of care has been second to none. I would defiantly move a family member in if-when needed and I could sleep well knowing they are taken care of. Great Job Team Vista!

Very friendly staff and well organized! Now that the facility is under new ownership-management, overall happiness and level of dedication has skyrocketed!! Hats off to the staff for staying focused during tough times and always putting the residents first! This is the closest thing to home you can get and when Im of age Ill be sitting out front, eating pudding while getting some sun! STRESS FREE!

I love that Vista Veranda has shared daily pictures during the lock down. my husbands grandmother resides here and although I cannot visit her at this time I really enjoy seeing her smiling face in the photos that they post. Im so glad that you guys are making her stay comfortable and keeping a smile on her face thank you so much for all that you do!

This community may be small but it is mighty! Vista Veranda is filled with residents who are thriving, happy, and always have full bellies. The staff here are compassionate advocates who truly care for the residents in the community. The management works together like a well oiled machine and are available for the residents truly 24-7. Ask any of the residents in the community and they will tell you a truly heart touching story about how much they love where they are. If my grandparents ever needed a place to live out there days where I knew without a shadow of a doubt they would be cared for I would entrust their care to the fantastic community Vista Veranda. A smile speaks a million words and on any given day you can find 50 smiling residents at Vista Veranda.

This is a beautiful community recently renovated. All the residents have smiles and are very well taken care of. I have been in many other AL's and skilled nursing communities and this is by far one of the best. I would not trust many places to take care of my parents or grandparents but I would confidently trust this staff to provide excellent care!

Vista Veranda (formerly Brookdale Ravenna) was fabulous, and they're very kind. It's a Catholic facility and their religious services were better than any of the other ones that I visited. It's very homey and comfortable, and they have memory care that's very secure. Room size was very small, but the facility was nice. The staff member was very persistent, very kind, understanding, very helpful, and very passionate. She called everyone by their first name and had a personal connection with everybody we came across. The food smelled delicious and looked very appealing. They had a connection with the library and they would bring them books weekly or monthly, and the religious aspect was very well rounded.

My grandmother moved into this community for a short stay respite following a hospitalization and was treated very well. She was fond of the executive director and dining director. Collectively they made her transition and stay comfortable and made her feel at home. There is longevity in the care staff and it shows. The dining director has been there for 17 years. While this home is undergoing some renovations that are needed, the care is superb and the residents are happy.

My father-in-law is a resident at this facility and he, as well as my wife and I, are very happy with his experience here. The dining supervisor is outstanding along with the meals. Olivia, the ED, has an excellent staff. She and they all have the residents best interests at heart. We really appreciate how they welcomed us to the family and keep us informed . No complaints what so ever..
