I worked here through Upshift. I have to say that Chef U. is an excellent Chef Manager and is very detailed and precise on what he wants and needs, and very thorough on explaining things. He treated is Employees with utmost respect and worked his A$$ off right along with them. He respected the servers and dishwasher like Family. A+ to this hard working man who runs a solid organized clean ship. A+

Our family was lucky enough to have our senior parents reside at Powell Senior Living community for the past year. There are not enough words to describe how much they enjoyed living at PSL. We are so grateful for the warmth and caring that the staff and management provided them at every encounter . The facility is immaculate and the decor is tasteful, my parents were always impressed and delighted with how everything was so well tended, down to the inviting fires in the winter. They were very proud of their roomy and well appointed Suite. They loved the excellent food in the dining room, the wealth of programs and activities, the service in the salon, the movie theater , and the ambience of the sky lounge. When the COVID pandemic hit senior living facilities particularly hard and lock downs were mandated, we trusted that our parents were not only being protected but that their emotional well being was being looked after as well. Recently our parents needs have changed, and they are moving onto Assisted Living, but we will stay within the Spectrum family because of the stellar care they have received at Powell Senior Living .

During this time, they have had nothing but positive things to say about the facility, the dining experience and the wonderful staff and residents. Our family has certainly appreciated all of this especially given the challenging last several months of navigating Covid. Highly recommend!

We moved my parents in January and they are loving it. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. My parents have gotten very involved with the activities that are offered. Which makes the entire experience that much better. Thanks to staff and residents who have made them feel at home.

After moving my mom from another local retirement home where we had a very disappointing experience, I have been so happy and relieved to have her at Powell Senior Living. The staff and residents have made my mom feel so welcome. As we were moving her in, at least 4 people stopped by her apartment to welcome her and introduce themselves. Later that afternoon, she had a woman stop by who said that she was my moms ambassador and would be taking her down to dinner with her and showing her all around the facility the next day and answering any questions my mom had. My mom has been at PSL for a little over 3 weeks now and she is very happy. I continue to be amazed at how friendly everyone is every time I stop by. This is a great retirement home that I would highly recommend.

We had a very nice tour. Natasha was just a lovely hostess. We were impressed with Powell Senior living. We were unable to see the 2 bdrm plan DD, but liked the G plan. Expect to contact Natasha within two months or so.

The trip to see covered bridges was great. Perfect weather to tour farm country and see covered bridges. Lunch at Der Dutchman capped a delightful day.

Marsha was great. She anticipated a lot of our questions with great information. As the morning went on she found out more about us and was able to point out additional items that might be of interest. She showed us 3 different floor plans for 2 bedroom set ups. All were very nice, 2 in particular met our needs very well. All in all it was a most pleasant experience and will be very helpful in deciding at which facility we would like to retire.

Dear PSL, First I would like to offer praise as to the kindness and professionalism displayed by most of the staff at PSL. My mother has been treated with respect and in a welcoming manner. However, there are also some problems. 1. Dinning services are very slow and appear to be understaffed during peak lunch and dinner times. Food quality is good. 2. Cleaning services have been spotty. This seems to have improved since hiring the cleaning company. 3. The bistro is still not open or staffed. This was a key service promised at the time we signed the lease. In summary therefore would rate that quality of the environment, food quality, and activities well. However, the general delivery of promised services is not up to what was promised.

I cant say enough about my fathers experience finding Powell Senior Living. They picked him up at his home and brought him down for a tour. I met him for lunch and by the time I arrived he was ready to sign on the dotted line. He was so excited to meet such caring people. The food was wonderful and the facilities are beautiful. My father keeps telling me that he is living in a dream. He didnt want to look at any other places. He was home.

This team is a team of very friendly and caring people. We felt they were genuinely interested in making our new transition a very positive experience. Its new, modern, and my mom really likes living there. Staff and residents are really friendly. Meals are served 7 to 7, so she does not have to watch the clock. Small washer, dryers are in each room and there is weekly housekeeping. There are also lots of activities to keep mom busy.

I can not thank the staff of Powell Senior Living enough for all that they have done for my parents since their arrival there. The entire staff has gone above and beyond in all that they do. Nancy and Marissa assisted in a 50th Anniversary party for my parents and made the evening absolutely perfect. The special little touches made the event a night to remember. Thank you all!

My experience with moving my 94 year old mother into the new Powell Senior Living could not have gone more smoothly. Everyone there has been so helpful and her every need has been met. Working with April Murray was delightful. She genuinely cares about her job and seeing that all her clients are happy. One day after Mom moved in all her pictures were hung, furniture in place and it looked like she had lived there for months! I have eaten with her in the dining room and the food is very good and there is a wide variety to choose from. Mom has already made friends and is taking part in activities. She now lives only 5 minutes away from me and I could not be happier. Thank you to all the staff.
