They get you in and force you to be monitored and they call the aids on you and the police if you try to leave. This is assisted living not forced living. I don't appreciate forced living. A terrible situation.

The tour director left me waiting for 20 minutes with no explanation or apology, and that was a HUGE turnoff. I understand that things come up, meeting run long, etc. Thats fine. But you damn well need to apologize after and offer some kind of an explanation. She didn't. Instead, she sauntered in 20 min late acting like that was our designated starting point. She didnt even bother giving the front desk a heads up when I first showed up (on time) and they let her know I was here. Very rude. The place itself seems very nice though. And I like that there are call buttons in the rooms and that everyone has a life alert type button included.

This place is beyond gorgeous. Like walking into a 5 star hotel. So beautifully decorated and very clean. Every staff person I came into contact with was so polite and nice. Although we are not thrilled about moving the mother in law to somewhere other than her home I don't think there could be a better place. We look forward to her enjoying her new beautiful apartment with all the perks to give us, the family peace of mind that our mom is being looked after. I recommend this facility so much that I even mentioned to my husband, "we could move here and live in the independent part." Justin was beyond perfect and helped guide us through the process. If your loved one needs just even the smallest amount of support or even more, this is your place.

We were pleased with many things at Waterford: Room size,closet and bath, facility organization and provisions for our mother and the costs. We had all questions answered. We had prior information as a niece had once worked there in the kitchen and had good things to say about it as well. We look forward to bringing mom there on Wednesday to visit and see a potential room.

We absolutely love Waterford!! My father in law has been living here since February and we couldn't be happier with his experience so far. The staff is incredible. We can tell they honestly care about their residents. He has made friends quickly, participates in the different events (there's something happening everyday), and feels at home. His health is significantly better and he loves the food. We celebrated his 70th birthday in the multi purpose room and Lori went above and beyond to make that happen for us. I'll put it this way...we hope Waterford is still around when it's our turn for senior living.

My Mom has been there 4months now. Her health and well being is so much better. This is due to the services at Waterford. I know it has been hard due to Covid & the flu to get together, but the staff has found ways to interact with residents. Thank you staff.

My Aunt has been here 2-1/2 years. In the beginning it was nice. As of today The food is terrible. Residents have turned in many pink slips complaining ,nothing has been done to improve the food. In the past month, the Director of nursing, the Executive Director , 2 Receptionists and I know of 2 caring and loyal nurses that are leaving. These are only the ones I know of. They have a lot of Rental nurses snd aides that do not know the residents or their needs. Today I find out that the emergency pendant system has been down three times now. My Aunt laid in bed 2 hours in pain and nobody came. The system wasn’t working. Today the Hospice Nurse even pushed the pendant. Nothing. Two hours later she went down and asked the nurse to get my Aunt Tylenol. I spoke to the Business Director. She is checking on it. They had given my Aunt a whistle to blow. Over $5,000 a month rent and they are going to depend on a whistle? There is still no Executive Director.

Our family is more than content with the kind, responsive and quality care our parent is receiving at this senior living facility. All personnel from admistrators, aides, nursing to dining room staff, housekeeping and laundry are upbeat, encouraging and more than kind. We are more than satisfied with the care received since November.

I help a nice lady two days a week ; thru my care giver agency; who lives at Waterford in Perrysburg. I so enjoy my time there with all the friendly aides, kitchen staff, and actually all the departments. I would certainly refer anyone to the Waterford for senior living. Everything is kept clean, very pretty inside, and many activity rooms. I am very pleased with the food selection for my client and she gets so much attention from all the staff. Great place to live in!

My mother has resided here 7 yrs. The positive r/t AL is that an LPN will see her while passing meds several times daily. My mother is there because of dementia and inability to care for herself as far as decision making. She can walk, bathe and dress and feed her self but needs direction. Some of the nurses are helpful and kind. Others shy away from responsibility and can't answer any questions. The facility has declined since mom has been there. The cleaning is very poor. Her carpet is FILTHY and they advised me I should pay for cleaning if I want it. Had she not been there 7 yrs the carpet would have been cleaned by the Waterford several times already or most certainly replaced, (one of the nurses told me). I need to come in and clean woodwork and wipe up sticky floors and handles, counters and throw away spoiled food sitting out. If she receives a tray in her room no one takes it away. Garbage cans are over flowing and I am always setting the trash out in the hallway. It has become routine for mom's clothing to be dirty every week when I'm there although they tell me they "assist with picking out clothing". She wears the same outfit numerous times in a row. Sometimes she says doesn't want to go downstairs to eat. The aides tell me, "she has a choice, we can't make her." She has dementia and needs to be encouraged and told what she should do, that is why she is there. I doubt the staff has training in how to deal with elderly demented people. I do not think there is an RN supervisor any longer. Staff turnover is frequent. I have contacted the director by leaving phone messages several times about my concerns and she does not return calls. The AL entryway many seasons has dead plants and is not well kept like the main entrance.

I find all the staff very accommodating and friendly. The Waterford is clean and very well kept up. I feel very safe with my family member being there. They have nice activities. I have had family members in a couple other places that I really also liked, but I must say, the Waterford is the one I am most impressed with.

My father lives in this complex and I have visited on multiple occasions, and I have interacted with staff and management. This is a wonderful place. My Aunt and Uncle lived here for several years as well and we had a wonderful experience. We hosted parties in the community room, enjoyed entertainment they brought in, enjoyed arts and crafts and great meals. I have breakfast every Saturday Am for the past 7 months and need to give a shout out to Matt, the morning server who treats the residents like family. Very very nice..
