We have found The Avalon to be the perfect place for Mom. The staff is attentive and kind. They work to encourage her to participate and join others in the dining room. She thinks her studio apartment is lovely and the meals very good. Sharon has been extremely helpful from the first visit to our quick move in. Sharon, along with Jill and Nicole have been patient and supportive as we transition to this next chapter in mom’s life. I would highly recommend The Avalon to anyone looking for a place for a loved one that treats them with respect and compassion.

The Avalon was the perfect place for our dad as he was quickly transitioning from another facility following surgery and rehab. Sharon presented all the amenities and helped arrange an expedited entry. She has also followed up to make certain all questions are answered and concerns addressed. Jill has clarified many of our nursing questions and concerns thoroughly. The staff, PSA's and Nurses have provided kind, attentive care for my father while supporting my mother's daily visits. The Avalon has created a warm, inviting culture for its residents and guests. Our family would highly recommend The Avalon at New Albany.

The Avalon of New Albany is such a beautiful place. The people that work at this facility are so nice and respectful. The inside is so nice it had a movie theater , a chapel, a workout room there is so much you could do here. I would definitely recommend this assistant living place.

First & Main of New Albany has the most caring staff I have ever seen in my 15 years in the senior living industry. I have seen it all, believe me. It is truly a family environment that you have to see and experience for yourself. Its unlike any other. If your loved one is in need of assisted living or memory support this is the place for them to be, hands down.

BEYOND AWESOME! Thanks to their quick thinking & shutting the doors to the outside world, they have SAVED ALL OF OUR LOVED ONES! This VIRUS is VERY HARD on ALL of us. I would rather see & talk thru a window then not have my mother in law at all. BOTTOM LINE...SHE IS SAFE, HAS PLENTY TO EAT, & doesnt have to worry about TOILET PAPER! LOL

Fabulous community!! My parents moved in last November and both are thriving here! Staff is awesome! Friendly and very caring. The facility itself is beautiful and always clean. Food is excellent too! If you are thinking of an assisted living facility you have to check this one out.

What an amazing community! I was fortunate enough to tour the facility as a possible option for my Grandmother who is in need of memory care. If you have not toured the community do yourself a favor and consider as an option for the care of your loved one! The only thing better than this state of the art building is the people in it!
