Dad has been at Ohio Living Mt Pleasant for years. First in the apartments with Mom, but now in the memory unit. Each time I visit, I see abundant evidence of the great care that he receives. I live 12 hours away from him, but I thank God that he is at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant.

My sister and my brother were treated professionally and compassionately during their stay at this facility prior to their death. My brother-in-law has been a resident there for many years and is also extremely well cared for. Excellent facility.

We chose Ohio Living Mount Pleasant for my father in law when he needed skilled nursing care. The nurses and nurse managers were excellent to deal with every step of the way. Even when the message was not good news they delivered it in a very professional and caring way. This type of care and comfortable environment led us to move my mother in law into a beautiful cottage on Mount Pleasant's campus. Dealing with the loss of your spouse and the move to a new environment was tough, but Mount Pleasant offers so many activities that she has settled in quite well!

As a local pastor I had frequented this facility in the midst of the Pandemic. The staff we always as welcoming and accommodating as the State Health Department would allow them to be at the time. When I was called to leave the congregation I knew Mt. Pleasant as a great place in the community to be safe and healthy from my time there with congregants. I applied and was accepted as their chaplain over a year ago and in this year as restrictions have lessened and we have made sure to get rid of agency nurses who are not as invested in our residents, I have seen massive improvement in the care of residents especially in the skilled and memory units. You could not ask for a better team to have your back as you recover or continue to live your life in dignity and comfort.

I spent about 6 weeks at Mt. Pleasant between the Rehab Unit and Assisted Living. Couldn't have ask for better care and efficient employees. Everyone was super friendly and wishing to please. Have to share the food was incredible as well.

My mom lived in the memory care assisted living at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant for 4 years before she passed. I am 100% happy with the care she recieved when she was there. The employees were so attentive, kind, and treated her like a family member, not just a patient. It is hard leaving a loved one in someone elses care, but I never worried about my mom when I was not with her. Mount Pleasant provided a great experience for our family and I am forever grateful for this place!

As a current family member of resident who has lived at OLMP for over 14 years, I am blessed to know that my loved one is in their caring hands. My Dad is a happy resident. He started in the apartment independent loving and as he progressed is now in the memory care unit. He was in the rehab facility and my Mother was in the skilled area. All were great.

Overall, I think Ohio Living Mount Pleasant is a great place to live. It beats all the other Sr. Living campuses we visited including ones that were much more expensive and with more amenities. We really like the individual ranch style homes in the independent living area rather than mostly duplexes we saw at all the other places we checked. We also liked the fact that our home was able to be renovated, mostly to our specifications.

My mom has been in several rehab facilities over the last couple of years due to many falls at home. She has dementia and balance issues due to rheumatoid arthritis. Ohio Living is by far the best place she has ever been! The staff are very caring and pleasant. The physical and occupational therapist are working with her in more ways than I’ve ever experienced. The facility is one of the cleanest I’ve ever been in and I used to do private transport for an EMS service, so I’ve been inside of a lot of facilities. No matter what time of day I arrive my mother is ALWAYS CLEAN. They freely communicate with me and my father about her progress. I’m so pleased with the care they are giving my mother that I would 100% recommend them!!

Came here from out of state and knew no one. Within a few months, after joining in activities, I felt like it was home. Even during the covid shutdown I felt the friendships and the staff went over and above to help residents. Our activity director kept us engaged through the closed circuit TV so that we remained busy. Needless to say I love Ohio Living.

I have work here for 4 years and I still say I wont work anywhere else I love my job. My grandfather came here for rehab and they were great with him I tell everyone they should bring there loved ones here. everyone is loving and caring we only want the best for our residents

This is a great place to work and the residents are treated with dignity and respect. There are many extras that are wonderful! Free meals, great benefits, tuition assistance, birthday as a holiday, 403b match plan, vacation time upon hire, and so many more! Love it!

All is the employees here are amazing! Each one has a heart for service of others. I work here and also have, had Family at Ohio Living Mt Pleasant. If you are looking for a place for your family take the time and tour. Look for more than pretty wall paper. Look for the passion in the people that you are walking by and talking too. My mom and dad elected to go to facility for rehab for moms broken hip. I have been a therapist for 25 years...Ive seen a lot of rehab places....not one like this though. The staff is friendly and professional. The facility was clean and didnt have that nursing home smell.Therapy was some of the best Ive seen. Thank you Pete and Ellie for getting my mom home. Nursing, dietary, and social work were the friendliest, nicest people.i appreciate everything you did to prepare mom to go home.I would highly recommend this rehab for your loved one. Thank you again everyone for taking such good care of my mom!!

Kudos to Plesant Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit!After a roll over accident, a subdural hematoma,and a month of intense work, my 88yo Uncle was able to go home today!LL of the employees were great.nd I thank them for the competent care provided..Upon discharge, to my surprise,he was given meds to tide him over until his next PCP appointment, two home cooked hot meals in the form of carryout,and a nice young man took all of his clothes out to my vehicle andloaded them up.Several staffers came and hugged him good bye.. And said good luck.It meant a lot to this old lonely man..A little kindness goes a very long way..

We were there visiting a very dear friend who is terminal. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived and especially when we entered. It is a beautiful, peaceful, bright and cheery place. In fact, I told my husband: Should I ever need to go into a nursing home, please have me go to one like this one. Everyone was friendly and cheerful and we were so happy to see that is where our friend is.

This was my first job at the age of 15.5 in 1985. I loved working here and love the residents. My grandmother worked here as a nurse aid, my mother worked there as Head Cook many years ago and now its 2016 and I am back working part time. Before coming back I worked as a Lab Manager and had been in about every nursing home across this city. Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant is by far the Best there is out there. We had my Grandfather there for many years. Love the Staff, theyre the BEST!!!
