On a beautiful Sunday we , my wife and myself , visited this gorgeous family enshrinement . Elder care was on a proud display without red carpet treatment . The head nurse ,Kim, and the knowledgeable receptionist were gracious and informative to our questions. We look forward to a return visit in our quest to find our final destination .

From the time Danbury Retirement Community opened its doors in Millersburg, Ohio, they have reached out to our organization to offer assistance in any way they could. They have provided (delicious) catering and then a place to hold our annual Guardian Training event for the last several years. And they are now assisting us in providing presenters for our training as well. They go above and beyond in providing our group with comfortable, well-equipped accommodations and wonderful refreshments. Kelly Rose and the administrative staff at Danbury Millersburg are always responsive and courteous as we plan and hold our training event. I am a certified community educator for the Alzheimer's Association. As such, I have visited this community on multiple occasions, presenting educational programs to the staff and for Lunch N Learn programs with the greater Millersburg community. I am always impressed by their kind and caring staff - always a smile and a 'hello'. The food is great, the place is beautiful and really clean. They are constantly putting on activities and programs for the residents. Overall, I'd give this location an A++!

Recent storms left us without power for almost a week. Those of us living in the Villas were invited to dine and cool down at the main Danbury building each day. Executive Director Sarah and all her staff made sure every single resident was safe, cared for and fed during this week of high temperatures and excessive heat warnings, thanks to the emergency generators and a very knowledgeable staff. The best place to live? Danbury Millersburg! Excellent food, a variety of fun activities, wonderful neighbors and a caring and dedicated staff. We are happy to call Danbury our home.

During a recent respite stay, my Mom , retired veteran food industry executive, Nancy Dauwalder from Heini's Cheese Chalet, has enjoyed the healthy & flavorful menu offerings created by the Danbury Culinary Team. Nancy said that not only are 'the entrees prepared with care, but the service staff is friendly and very guest focused' . Nancy, and her late husband Peter, pioneered the tourism industry in Holmes County. A food focused career, where quality and customer service have always been top priorities, gave Nancy a front row seat in expanding commerce in Holmes County. Quality dining options for area seniors is one of the many attributes afford to members of the Danbury Community.

I've lived at Danbury since March 2021. My experience has been very good. Everyone here has been so kind and helpful. Like when the power was out, they took great care of us. They allowed the Villa residents to come to the main building to eat and cool down. I've never been anywhere else but Danbury has been good to me.

We moved into our brand new villa at Millersburg Danbury in October of 2020 and are very happy with the many opportunities it provides. It is conveniently located, close to grocery stores, library, doctor's office, hair salons, shopping, exercise facility and parks. The two bedroom/2 bath villa is lovely with a 2 car garage, high ceilings, lots of natural light, all one level with no steps, and good storage, especially the walk-in pantry. We have neighbors who have become friends and feel like family. There are many activities to be taken advantage of and we also have the option of dining in at the main facility. The staff is caring and there for you. No matter where you live, there are suggestions for improvements. It would have been nice to have grab bars installed as a standard in both bathrooms and even nicer to have vanities in the bathrooms that included drawer space. We also wish the "hard water" issue would have been addressed from the beginning and hope that it will be resolved in the near future. We are very happy that we made the move to Millersburg Danbury! I highly recommend this place to anyone. My mom and dad rave about the staff, how well they are treated, the amazing activities they have and the kindness of the residents. Very well maintained, safe and spacious. Thanks to the staff at DSL. You're amazing!

I have lived in one of the condos of Danbury Millersburg independent living for almost two years and have never regretted the move! I am very happy here! At 90 years old I knew it was time to down size and when I saw that Danbury was coming to our community it seemed like the right move to make! We are like one big family here who care for each other! The staff have been great! I can join in with the activities at the larger assisted living building if I choose! I have 24 hour nursing assistance if I need it! If my health fails and I need more care I can move to the assisted living! So glad I made the move! Thanks, Danbury!
