The Activities Department is so full of fun things to do with the residents from outings to parties and games. Their service pet Callie is the sweetest French bug dog ever!

Visited them for outpatient therapy for my teen. They worked around my schedule for appointments and the PT was kind, punctual and thorough. Would highly recommend.

My dad has been here for 6 months and staff is great!!! I would recommend to anyone. He came into the facility on lies of a family member and being his guardian but the facility saw that he did not belong in the lock down unit and was no harm to self or others. We as the family appreciate all they're help with this matter. Again, administration and nursing staff are great.

Went to Shawnee Manor after a right lower leg amputation. On August 1 I took to tiny steps and now on October 28 I am able to walk 400 feet with a walker and am indecent in my room. I would be wheelchair bound had it not been for the great care I received in their Rehabilitation Department. I will always recommend Shawnee Manor to anyone looking for great long term or rehab care

My aunt is in the memory care unit, a s our family is pleased with her care. Every time we visit, my aunt is content and happy. They work so hard to meet the needs of their residents, really caring about each individual. They have made an effort to get her to religious services and to get her hair done, both being activities that were extremely important to her all her life.

They have a great Parkinson’s support group and Big and loud program to meet the unique needs of Parkinson’s patients! Offer outpatient therapy both in clinic and in the home when appropriate!

When I first came to Shawnee Manor I was a train wreck. I suffered from a bacteria infection in my spine caused by a cyst on my spine. I was in so much pain. I couldn't move, but it hurt so bad to just sit up on the side of the bed. Now after a couple months my pain is better, I'm learning to walk again. I'm very satisfied with my care and I I'm thankful I came here for my rehabilitation. Sincerely, Rebecca Austin

I am so impressed with the Care my husband received at this nursing home. Dawn Craft we are forever grateful to you for sending us here and introducing your friend Crystal who greeted us the first night. Virgil was so sick and they all helped him feel safe and at home the best they could. The one thing that stuck out would be how when he was on the phone with me and they didn't know it was me they always walked in with a kind greeting calling him by name. He would laugh with them. The physical therapy he received has helped him to be strengthen and able to return home to all of us. Thank you Shawnee Manor staff for all you did. A special thank you to Ryan the Assistant Admin. for taking the time to guide me into financial areas I had never dealt before with kindness and understanding. I highly recommend this Manor.

This is my third time being at Shawnee Manor and I always request to come back here. I’m U.S. Army veteran. I like it here because the staff, nurses and therapists treat me good. There goal for me is the same as mine and that’s to get me stronger so I can return home. They always help me reach my goals.

While my mother in law has been a part of rehab at Shawnee Manor the nurses and therapists have been very helpful and encouraging. The room she is in is very nice and she enjoys the food. The administrators and staff have been very helpful in guiding our family as we make decisions that focus around my mother in laws health needs and safety.

Not real impressed wit this place. My mom was admitted last night and no one greeted her, Noone came in to help her get ready for bed. She didn't have the call light within her reach. One aide stated she didn't know how to help her with her walker. Didn't get her breakfast till late today. I used public restrooms and no soap in either. The food needs some improvement.
