The decision to move into an assisted living facility may be easy for some, but for my parents, leaving their home after 47 years was a frightening thought. That being said, after a lot of research, discussions, reference checks, and best fit tours, Primrose stood out for our family! The staff was welcoming, the facility was clean, and while in the decision phase, so many residents came up to my parents and family to welcome them, listen to their story, and let them know about their positive experience. Now 8 months in and my parents love it! From anger of having to move to acceptance, and now the joy and heeling that has taken place in my mother’s heart is what we prayed so long for. If faced with a similar decision, know from our family to yours, Primrose is a safe, nurturing, caring, and incredible place to call home.

My parents moved into Primrose about a year ago. It was the best decision we could have made. We wanted to make sure our parents were happy and safe. Primrose is truly their home. Unfortunately my father passed away a couple of months ago but my mother wanted to stay. She feels like it is now her home. I can’t speak highly enough about everyone. The workers are very caring. The residents become family. Primrose offers many things for the residents to do. My mom loves the bingo and the ice cream. She gets her hair done every week. Very convenient. The food is very good as well. They change the menu every week to mix it up. Thank you Primrose for making us feel at home. You are all AMAZING!!

The facility is lovely and all the team members are wonderful with the residents. As you walk the halls the staff team is consistently calling residents by name which is meaningful to me. I also value the activities offered such as going out on country drives and trying a new restaurant for lunch. It’s nice knowing my parents are attending outings that are pre-planned for their enjoyment. There are also many activities offered onsite so boredom is never a concern. Primrose is a wonderful place!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Primrose Retirement Community in Lima! From the moment I toured the facility, I was blown away by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the genuine care shown by the staff. The community is beautifully designed, with spacious apartments that feel like home, complete with modern amenities like a kitchen area and large, airy windows. The ice cream parlor and movie theater are delightful touches that make every day special for residents.

I recently assisted a family friend on their journey to select an assisted living community in Lima. Out of all the places we visited (and we looked at several) Primrose was the only place that he felt at home. They don't rent "rooms" at Primrose, but rather he got an entire apartment at a lesser cost than than several other places were charging for just one small room. He loved that he was able to bring his own furniture from his home, hang pictures on the walls, and have plenty of space to accommodate everything that was important to him---all while being able to receive care and assistance from nurses around the clock. The amenities are unbelievable...Primrose has an actual movie theater, and an ice cream parlor with all the free ice cream he wants. Breakfast is also served all day, so even when he sleeps in he can still get breakfast made to order. There was no other place in town that compared to Primrose. He is SO happy there!

We moved into a Villa at Primrose seeking to simply our daily/monthly common activities and obligations otherwise known as care-free-living. We wanted to generate more time and energy to travel. Primrose has provided us with a comfortable 1500+ square foot duplex. All utilizes included with lightning fast Wi-Fi and full Spectrum TV. The home is tight, draft free and almost sound proof. We needed a pet friendly home and Primrose answer to having pets was yes, yes and yes you may have yours here. Our two cats are enjoying their new home as much as us due to having a gas fireplace that blasts out some fur burning heat in the evening. During the day they are in the four season room soaking the sun rays beaming thru the two all glass walls. We are very pleased with our choice. What we did not expect was the attentive, compassionate and what can we do for you, attitude of every team member on Primrose’s payroll here in Lima, Ohio! Another surprise was our meals that are prepared fresh everyday. There is a wide range of daily choices and soooo good. We always eat in one of dining rooms just because the other residents are so interesting that have an active and full life to share. But I warn you, they will beat you down into submission on game days at Mexican train and Euchre. Primrose also provides us with housekeeping and maintenance. Two more perks that contribute to our goal of a simplified carefree life style. We can honesty say Primrose Retirement Community of Lima Has earned and deserves a 5 Star/ AAAAA+++++ rating from us and we look forward to spending many happy years here. Ed and Brenda

I cannot say enough about Lima Primrose community. I like to call it Primrose Resort!!!! My father and mother moved in in October 2023. My father passed away In February. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They cried with us. They laughed with us. The Support was amazing. Our closest family member lives 45 minutes away. We feel very safe, dropping my mom off at any time after an outing and know that she is well taken care of. She has friends to eat with and talk to as well as many activities to go to throughout the day. Primrose would be the only choice for us..

If I could give them 20 stars, I would!! I absolutely love, love, love this place. I always recommend it to family and friends, I would live here if I could. Absolutely every employee is so kind and generous. The building is always adorable and clean and smells wonderful. The kitchen is clean, the food smells amazing. All the employees attend to the residents with love and care and every unique need they could possibly have. They also have extremely fun and wonderful events that they open their doors to the community to join. Stop out and see this place. It's a wonderland!

My parents chose to move in to a villa, at Primrose. The villa is very nice, with plenty of room and independence. They love the fact that there are many daily activities. They also rest easier knowing they have 2 meals a day that they don’t have to worry about fixing. The staff seems very nice whenever we go to an organized activity. I don’t have any reservations recommending Primrose to family or friends.

Great place to care for your loved ones. Excellent staff, clean rooms, and overall very organized. I've know quite a few people that come to stay here and never heard any complaints. We also do alot of business with them moving elderly in and out also never had an issue.

The care and dedication of the staff is excellent. Our family is thankful for the beautiful facilities and the attention to the specific help our loved one needs and has needed over the past almost 2 1/2 years.

My father and our family decided to move my Dad closer to where I live. After looking at different assisted living communities we decided to rent an apartment at Primrose. The rooms are nicely laid out. The bathrooms are well laid out and the dining room was designed for people to have conversations in and hear each other. It is has a wonderful family atmosphere. The staff have been wonderful with my father and communicate well with me on any needs or concerns. It is a place I would recommend and do recommend to families.
