They are too short staffed. No staff same always a turnover. Foods horrible. They do nothing to encourage residents to be active. They have NO outdoor activity that is a lie. Newest director has NO gatherings for the people for holidays cause she's off. Been through like 4 directors in 2 years time. Laundry is lost! Not enough staff in evening for 2 buildings! One -2 people is NOTenough. Had a great housekeeper, she has quit prob cause is a lot for only 1 person. Is people that should be in nursing home there. They treat these people like they live in a nursing home not assisted living..ok could go on and on. Many problems.

The over all facility is amazing. and beautiful. The food is less than desirable at best on most days. Some days there is not enough food for the others that live there. The staff all smell horrible and most act as though they are HIGH. Probably no place I will ever put my loved on at again. Its a shame!! Things started off really well. Grandma loved it there. It would be horrible if the news caught wind of these issues.

Beautiful facility. Majority are nice residents. They don't have enough PPE or personal products and a it's more of a nursing home, than a assisted living.

The Inn at the Pines is a beautiful facility. It is cozy and the staff are friendly and they have a wonderful activity program. The food is home cooked and delicious.

We researched a lot of assisted livings and nursing homes in Geauga and Cuyahoga County before deciding on Brooks House. We sent our mother there because it felt much more like a home (versus a hospital like the other places). Rooms are very nice and it feels like you are in a log cabin. Employees are very kind and really spend time to build relationships with the residents.

As a frequent visitor to The Pines and The Original Brooks House, I can highly recommend Brook House Assisted Living Communities. Everyone has a beautiful suite, the staff are caring and kind, and the living quarters are kept immaculate.
