Our mom has recently passed, and in the last month as our family has been preparing for her Celebration of Life, we can't help but look back and be grateful to the Waterford for helping to make Mom's last years so happy. This was Mom's home and the residents and staff here were family to her. The staff always looked out for her and were always so easy to talk to and really cared. Something you don't always find in retirement communities. A special thank you to Julie, Terry, Jacob and the entire staff for all the kindness and love you showed Mom over the years.

Needs a lot of work The food is over cooked or too done. When you complain about it nothing is done about it. Alot of the residents are senile and want to fight with you,one woman hit me I filled out a report and nothing was done. I did make about 5 or 6 nice Friends. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful community and very friendly and helpful staff. The team here was very helpful and answered all my questions with ease. They made me feel "right at home." I spoke to several of the residents who only had wonderful things to say about living here. If you are looking for Independent Living, this should be your first choice!

My dad enjoyed living here for 2 years and was treated like family by the caring staff, especially Christy and Terry. This is a beautifully renovated building and well kept facility. A very pleasant environment. Convenient location in a safe neighborhood. Very highly recommended……

The Waterford at Fairfield has been Mom's home for over 7 years. The directors, John and Julie, and the staff are like family. They are loving and caring and have looked out for her all these years. Whenever I had questions or concerns, Julie was always so wonderful to talk to, and she really knew my mom and and understood her needs. The location is also great. Mom loved to walk to the library, the park and Krogers. In the early years, she used to walk to the Village Green in the evenings when they had summer concerts. The residents are all friendly, kind and care about one another. Mom loved playing cornhole, Wii bowling, cards and socializing with everyone. The place is bright, comfortable and cozy. Mom liked the food, never had any complaints and truly loved it there. It is only because of Mom's progressive dementia that we sadly had to move her to another facility recently. I can't say enough good things about Mom's stay at the Waterford, and my family will always have beautiful memories of her happy life there.

Waterford has wonderful apartments, great location and the inside is very clean and updated. The residents are nice people. They would rate a 5 star except for the following: They lost their activity director several months ago and they have not filled the position. So they have cut back on activities. The food is ok. Somedays good other days you go back to your room and fix something to eat.

My name is jeniene, I'm a agency worker for the Waterford from senior helpers..I love helping out here .the residents have gotten used to seeing me .I also help out in the kitchen as well by helping serve, stock and help we're needed, shout out to the wonderful chef Cody..I enjoy working as the stna on the floor as well..this facility is clean an nice..Thank you to all the staff that help train me on how the residents are given care ...will continue helping out this great facility..

My grandma has lived here for a few years now. She loves it and has nothing but great things to say. Covid was handled so well, for how hard all the new challenges were. Julie is always so helpful when we have any questions. My Grandma is so happy living here.

This was a very nice assisted living type of home my aunt is there and she's actually not complying with all the rules so I do not hold that against them she is a bit hard to handle LOL but as far as the smell there it smelled like a straight-up nursing home and that was before I got to my aunt's room so I know that part was not on her like that was in the lobby when I first walked through the door anyways could be better for an assisted living definitely should not smell like a nursing home

Cindy is so sweet and really cares about her residents! They are always coming up with new and exciting ways to keep everyone engaged. Also super dog friendly which is a plus and quite warm and welcoming! Would recommend

Excellent staff. VERY nice place. MANY activities which is a real PLUS. I never realy realized how lonely I was getting until I got to socialize with all the friendly folks at Waterford. The food is actually better than I expected. WITH: Barbara Wagonfield: She REALLY likes it here. Many activities (esp. Bingo) - good food - really likes the other games and crafts - very worthy of the awards it received !! She and I are both residents and are enjoying each others company. Were home ! Here to stay.

The Waterford is a great facility. Clean and staff is wonderful. Walking around the place you get a real cozy vibe, seeing the residents and staff interact. Location is great too, close to grocery, entertainment, doctors offices and so on!

What a beautiful place. I love how it is nestled in with the retail and library in Fairfield that all goes wonderfully together. The Waterford at Fairfield is conveniently located to many amenities as well as Mercy Fairfield Hospital. Each time I have had the chance to visit, the guests are all out and about, lively, and happy. Not only is it affordable, but it is like resort living.

The Waterford is a very warm and loving community. The residents think of each other as family and readily support one another. The location is great with a library and community center across the street as well as charming restaurants and stores within walking distance. The facility itself has many amenities such as a library, salon, large dining room, large lobby, activities and entertainment. It is a 5 star community!
