The food is NOT good, management doesn't respond to service, no one knows anything. Especially people sitting at front desk. Have tried to find out about carpet cleaning and no has answered for months. Just a simple question. Need better food and service.

I loved the tour. The facility is beautiful, and the staff and residents were friendly. Julie and Jennifer were wonderful hosts. They gave me lots of information to share with my mom who is preparing to move to Cincinnati. The location is great.

Mike, the head of maintenance is without a doubt one of the most dedicated and most informed about all issues. He is always available if there is a problem. I feel very blessed to have him in his position.

My mother was a resident of the Waterford and she absolutely loved everything about it. From the friendly staff to the amazing residents, great activities, excellent food and vibrant atmosphere, the Waterford provides an unmatched place to call home. However, the true value of this amazing place was not known to me until I unfortunately lost my mother. Traveling back from out of town to settle her affairs was difficult and I do not have a large family support system in the city anymore. The staff at the Waterford allowed me to stay on site in an apartment free of charge that was pre-furbished and even had drinks and snacks waiting for me. They gave me free meals and helped me wherever they could taking out trash or carrying pieces of furniture. The kindness that I was shown is not something I will forget for the rest of my life. I literally don't know what I would have done without them in what was already such a tough time for me. This is a place of love, family, and care unlike anything you've seen before. Thank you again for all you did for me and how much you made my mom's life so wonderful!

Just moved my Dad into Waterford. The residents and staff are very nice. I do like them very much. It's been 3 weeks. I want to thank Michael the chef director for providing Dad delivery meals of what Dad chose on the menu. Mike in maintenance has helped by fixing a few things for Dad in the apartment. Semper Fi, Mike. Unclear how things work with laundry and simply supplying the next weeks menu to whom and how. We are learning. Everyone is SO NICE. Special thanks to Jacob and Tom for their help.

Our mom has recently passed, and in the last month as our family has been preparing for her Celebration of Life, we can't help but look back and be grateful to the Waterford for helping to make Mom's last years so happy. This was Mom's home and the residents and staff here were family to her. The staff always looked out for her and were always so easy to talk to and really cared. Something you don't always find in retirement communities. A special thank you to Julie, Terry, Jacob and the entire staff for all the kindness and love you showed Mom over the years.

One word repeatedly came to mind when I toured this community: Family. The staff and residents are so familiar with each other and work together well. The Executive Director leads with honesty and respect. Waterford at Fairfield is a beautiful place.

The Waterford at Fairfield was the FIRST choice for my mother back in 2016. It met all of her needs, and it was everything we were looking for and the only reason we did not choose this community in 2016 was because my mother was still driving, and the area was not familiar to her. Now needing to find a new Independent Living community due to the sudden increase in her rent and a decrease in amenities and care at her current retirement community, we are thinking it’s time for her to move. From the moment I arrived at Waterford back in 2016, I knew I had found something special and on our recent visit this past November 2024 I felt the same. This isn't just a place to live “ it's a vibrant community that truly understands the art of living in one's golden years. The facility itself is immaculately maintained. The apartments are clean and fresh . The main lobby is inviting. The colors are fresh and light. The building is modern yet welcoming, with thoughtful design that prioritizes both accessibility and appeal. Every team member we met on our November 2024 visit was open and kind. The administrative personnel showed genuine warmth and respect and concern and wanted to help. I believe they want to create a sense of family for their residents. The activities program had something for everyone, regardless of interests or mobility levels. Dining is another highlight. The menu changes regularly, providing variety and allowing residents to enjoy restaurant-quality dining without leaving the community. Sadly the location is still an hurdle for us since it’s not close to any of her family or established care providers.

Needs a lot of work The food is over cooked or too done. When you complain about it nothing is done about it. Alot of the residents are senile and want to fight with you,one woman hit me I filled out a report and nothing was done. I did make about 5 or 6 nice Friends. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The Waterford is a great facility with great residents and awesome, friendly staff. My father lived there very happily for several years after selling his house until he needed to move to assisted living because of memory loss. Dad loved eating two meals per day with all his buddies. Great location with Kroger, the library and the park all very close by! My dad will miss all his friends there so much! We plan on visiting periodically just so he can talk to all the people he has come to love.

Beautiful community and very friendly and helpful staff. The team here was very helpful and answered all my questions with ease. They made me feel "right at home." I spoke to several of the residents who only had wonderful things to say about living here. If you are looking for Independent Living, this should be your first choice!

My dad enjoyed living here for 2 years and was treated like family by the caring staff, especially Christy and Terry. This is a beautifully renovated building and well kept facility. A very pleasant environment. Convenient location in a safe neighborhood. Very highly recommended..

The Waterford at Fairfield has been Mom's home for over 7 years. The directors, John and Julie, and the staff are like family. They are loving and caring and have looked out for her all these years. Whenever I had questions or concerns, Julie was always so wonderful to talk to, and she really knew my mom and and understood her needs. The location is also great. Mom loved to walk to the library, the park and Krogers. In the early years, she used to walk to the Village Green in the evenings when they had summer concerts. The residents are all friendly, kind and care about one another. Mom loved playing cornhole, Wii bowling, cards and socializing with everyone. The place is bright, comfortable and cozy. Mom liked the food, never had any complaints and truly loved it there. It is only because of Mom's progressive dementia that we sadly had to move her to another facility recently. I can't say enough good things about Mom's stay at the Waterford, and my family will always have beautiful memories of her happy life there.

Waterford has wonderful apartments, great location and the inside is very clean and updated. The residents are nice people. They would rate a 5 star except for the following: They lost their activity director several months ago and they have not filled the position. So they have cut back on activities. The food is ok. Somedays good other days you go back to your room and fix something to eat.

My grandma has lived here for a few years now. She loves it and has nothing but great things to say. Covid was handled so well, for how hard all the new challenges were. Julie is always so helpful when we have any questions. My Grandma is so happy living here.

This was a very nice assisted living type of home my aunt is there and she's actually not complying with all the rules so I do not hold that against them she is a bit hard to handle LOL but as far as the smell there it smelled like a straight-up nursing home and that was before I got to my aunt's room so I know that part was not on her like that was in the lobby when I first walked through the door anyways could be better for an assisted living definitely should not smell like a nursing home

What a beautiful place. I love how it is nestled in with the retail and library in Fairfield that all goes wonderfully together. The Waterford at Fairfield is conveniently located to many amenities as well as Mercy Fairfield Hospital. Each time I have had the chance to visit, the guests are all out and about, lively, and happy. Not only is it affordable, but it is like resort living.

Excellent staff. VERY nice place. MANY activities which is a real PLUS. I never realy realized how lonely I was getting until I got to socialize with all the friendly folks at Waterford. The food is actually better than I expected. WITH: Barbara Wagonfield: She REALLY likes it here. Many activities (esp. Bingo) - good food - really likes the other games and "crafts" - very worthy of the awards it received !! She and I are both residents and are enjoying each other's company. We're home ! Here to stay.

Apartments are nice and the location is wonderful. It’s generally a friendly place both the staff and the residents. The meal options are limited and there is very little allowance for special dietary needs. Many of the food items are well prepared, but not all. You can cook your own, but you’ve already paid for the meal plan.

Apartments are decent, and service is adequate if for someone who is independent, but could use help in cleaning. Meals are included and offer multiple options. But if you are looking for a senior apartments and don't require these services, there are many other options at a more affordable price.
