Our family is deeply grateful for the exceptional care my mother received during the final months of her life. From the moment she arrived, we felt the warmth, professionalism, and compassion of the entire staff. They treated her with dignity, patience and genuine kindness-not just as a resident, but as a person. The nurses and caregivers were attentive and responsive, always keeping us informed and making sure mother was comfortable as possible. Their presence gave us peace of mind during a difficult time, and we will never forget the support they gave to our entire family. Thank you to everyone for the love and care you showed. Absolutely the worst care ever. rude aides. Scared for my well being towards the end to get out of there alive. They manage to keep you until your insurance runs out. That's what happened with me. Medicaid is pushed down your throat!! I had 3 days to get a place to go and then they argued it wasn't safe. My friends home was totally handicapped accessible. My whole life has done a one eighty. I wouldn't put my dog in that place

My mom had been there a few years ago and the place is amazing. I would highly recommend it to anybody. The place is clean quiet staff is very professional helpful you will not be sorry if you were your family. Member chooses to stay here. I have nothing but positive things to say about Grace

Facility has new management running it into the ground from offsite offices. They are falsely terminating employees with over 25 years of service. This is to allow them to staff the facility with part time help and temporary workers. Being a "non profit" facility they are over $100,000,000 in debt, so they are trying to save money by not having to pay out for benefits.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the nurses, and Greg the wonderful physical therapist! My 95 year old grandmother was in this facility for about 3 weeks, she's SO much better! Big shout out to nurse constance! She is a beautiful, sweet caring nurse, thank you everyone who helped my grandma ™

Food was terrible coffee as bad even th employees wouldn't drink it when I had to go to the bathroom I'd laughs button seal times ad the me someone get there I had already peed the bed was so glad to get it of there. I never o back there or echoed them

This is a wonderful place my wife was treated there. All the people that I delt with are very great. Very attentive to my wife's needs. Nurses are very good at their job and so is the physical therapist. Renee the director of Admissions and the staff was very professional in all that she did. I would like to thank her and all the staff for a great job and help to getting my wife back in shape

Full disclosure , I am on the board of this organization. GBV has consistently been rated a 4-5 Star long term care facility. It is non profit, Christian based with a caring staff and well managed.

The Nursing staff is fabulous. The facility is clean and functions as a community. And the food, WOW! As good as home cooking and customizable to individual preferences. Honestly, although it was good to heal and go home, I didn't wanna leave. Recommend Grace Bretheren Village to anyone looking for care for a loved one or themselves.

Why would you advertise as a skilled nursing facility and then deny someone just because they currently have a wound vac? They are too lazy to help someone in need, that’s why. Very upset that they wouldn’t even try to help my mother.

My Dad has been here for 5 years. The first 3 1/2 were wonderful. However things have steadily declined. The food is horrible except on the weekends. All the great aids and nurses have left or are leaving because this not for profit Christian Nursing home won’t pay the people caring for our loved ones a living wage. My heart is heavy for my Dad and my family and for all those dedicated caregivers who have taken such good care of my Dad. 5 star rating? Not a chance. Two is more like it!

After finally talking my parents into downsizing, their house sold in 4 days. I had a very small window of time in which to find them a place to live. Every place that I called or toured was either too expensive, had a waiting list or could not be ready in time for them to move. Julie, at GBV, was a life saver. She had a cottage available and it was affordable. I couldnt believe it. She wasnt sure that it could be ready in time, but Eddie, Head of maintenance, said that he could make it happen. When DP&L told me that my parents new address "didn't exist", one of the office assistants (Brenda) called them to straighten it out for me. The maintenance crew hung pictures and even mounted the tv. My parents are happy in their new home and I know that they are safe. We couldn't have had a better experience and I truly appreciate the staff at GOV. Thank you, Nikki Stiles

My husband had open heart surgery at Good Sam Hospital in Dayton, upon leaving we were given 3 choices for rehab that were close to our residence. The first choice....he was there 12 hours before I took him out of there...we won't discuss that! I drove over to Grace Brethren and more or less informed them he was being brought there. They were so kind, understanding, went out of their way to accommodate him with everything. The building is spotless, secure, well staffed with the most patient and kind staff. The residents that reside there permanently are well cared for, clean, hair combed, assisted with all their needs and most of all HAPPY! I observed with a keen eye the care and attitude the staff provides and did not find any faults and I can be down right picky!! If you need temporary care such as my husband needed or need to put a family member in a permanent home I would urge you to choose this facility. My husband in one week after surgery for open heart with 5 bypasses went from barely scooting along to walking with no problems due to their excellent PT care. They made us feel like family and not a client! A plus all the way!

I give thanks to all the nurses, aides, servers and just everyone at Grace Brethren Village. They were all so nice to me during my stay. They are a great bunch! I don't think nursing homes are supposed to be enjoyed but they kept me busy and I had fun! (except in the beginning when I hurt so bad!)
