Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.we were taking the resident out on a cool day Front desk attendant, Anthony, lent his jacket to the resident so we didn’t have to go back to the room to get his. It was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. We know our family member is under capable, loving care

Am here for rehab after hardware removal in my ankle the staff here is nice and friendly a rare few like 1 or 2 are rude and nasty and toxic but stay away from those ones if possible rest are helpful and they have bingo on 3rd floor on Thursday and Saturday at 2:30 they have beauty days where they get they nails down most of the therapists are nice and friendly only 1 I don't like he waits until I am trying to count while keeping track of how many exercises I don't then distracts me on purpose I lost count and has to do it all over Wednesday is the group therapy session where everyone on 4th floor maybe others go to the therapy gym does exercises then if you tell Suzanne you want to play the therapy games on her computer on TV with wand you can actually win prizes she takes your pictures if u get 3 monkeys for the casino game and 3 or more bingos in 1 game u win she has different prizes to choose from also if u don't like what on menu you can substitute it just mark off on menu what u don't want and write down what u will like from the list always check the calendar on Wall each day there's something different bre on 3th floor is nice and does bingo and crafts u win prizes while playing bingo can go for walks sit outside Only complaint is they don't pay attention if u tell them about appointment the week before and they will forget to get transportation for you and claim they knew nothing about appointment meaning paperwork won't be ready that happened to me twice even if u give them appointment card they would denied it even if u remained them day before it Also if u have arthritis medicine don't expect them to give it to you am 37 with arthritis in my left leg they claims they don't have my medication or knew nothing about it so been off it for over a month

Hello Mona I just wanted to take the time to say Thank You from my dad Nelson Velez and myself. Everyone has been so great with him and myself, I cannot tell you enough how much you have all meant to us. Everyone that we have come across has either been super helpful or just simply very kind we appreciate all of you. The visit with my dad and his wife was amazing you all made the transition so smooth for them and for me. You see they hadnt seen each other for over two months since he had his stroke. Since my dads stroke it has been a lot on my plate, but again you guys have really made it better for me and I thank you. Thank you all for all the support you have shown him and myself. My dad wasnt happy he was coming here he wanted to be home, but all the staff from the Healthcare floor, Physical Therapy, Billing. Nursing, Maintenance and security ( I apologize if I forgot a department) have made it great for him he has made a second family here. I come to visit every day and he is always so happy and tells me who he talked to and how they made him laugh or got to know him for him not his stroke. I think he will be leaving soon but that wouldnt be happening if it wasnt for all of you. I know things might not always be perfect but you guys sure have made it seem or as close as possible. Working here and at the daycare defiantly had its benefits but let me tell you I will defiantly be spreading the word about the village and its staff. I have to say, as a former employee (roughly 5 years ago) that there were issues with the quality of care given by the aids and staff on the Healthcare floors. However, I have not worked there in some time, so I am not aware of the quality of care currently being given on the Healthcare floors at this time - I hope, for the sake of the residents - that it has improved exponentially. I do have family that has lived at this continuum for many years, and as their level of care has increased, they have been able to transition into the various levels of care accordingly. They do often note that at times, the food delivered to their room has been cold. However, the current admin team does seem to be putting in more effort to enhance the quality of their services, which is encouraging. As long as their efforts are centered around the betterment of the residents and their quality of life, I would say the Wesleyan Village is on the up and up.

I recently moved my mother to the memory care unit. The Lighthouse. It is beautiful and clean. My mother loves it there. The entire staff at Wesleyan is very friendly and helpful. Im so happy we was able to get my mother into a caring and friendly environment. Thank you for all do for my mother.

My grandma was in AL for 51-2 years. Many of the nurses and aides loved her like a family member. Cant believe how many of them gave her hugs and kisses daily. Makes a huge difference. The nurses in Rehab are amazing.

Mom is very happy at Wesleyan Village! She has a modern and clean apartment, the facilities & housekeeping staff keep everything in working order and looking nice. She enjoys the many activities available such as coffee & conversation, exercise, brain games and many others. The excursions are fun for her and adds variety to her schedule. A beauty salon in the main building is convenient for her. She has a standing weekly hair appointment and can have her nails done there when she wants. She likes very much spending time with the friends she has made and all the friendly staff. The staff is so helpful, smiling and pleasant, ready to help whenever and for whatever is needed. The food is very good and she looks forward to each meal she chooses to have in one of the dining areas. I enjoy the Sunday brunch on occasion and the holiday brunches are fantastic! Thank you Wesleyan for taking such good care of my Mom!

Where to start. My mom was a resident for 8 years or so. From day one I always felt that Wesleyan had her best interest in mind I always felt secure that she was being well taken care of. I felt the love that they had for mom from her first day there until the very end. What a wonderful group of people.

I worked at the Wesleyan village for 6 years. I began as a housekeeper, and worked my way to a s.t.na. I absolutely loved working here. It's a well organized, clean, and friendly environment. I made some of my life long friends here. The staff always came together and worked as a team, and management wasn't afraid to step in and help either. I moved to louisville 3 year's ago with my husband's job, but if it wasn't for that I would still be employed here. Great place for your loved ones, and even better place to work! Thanks Wesleyan village for giving me 6 great years of employment!

We have lived in one of the Patio homes on the main campus for nearly 6 years. It was the best decision we've ever made. There are so many activities (classes, concerts, trips, volunteering, crafts, exercise, water walking etc.) that we don't have enough time to do everything!

This has been a wonderful place to work, I have been here for 20 years and I am not planning on retiring anytime soon! Our Masterpiece Living culture has enriched the lives of our Residents and staff.
