McGregor campus is beautiful. My sister has been in treatment there for several months. Her room is lovely with a nice view. She gets therapy and participates in some activities. I like her care and staff is polite and caring. She complains about food at times. But nothing is perfect. I think it's a "jewel" myself.

McGregor is GREAT! I love that I get to call this my home. I have been embraced and checked for from the beginning! I love all the activities and resources provided for us each week. I love how Ms. Lambert and Ms. Lockhart does not fail to check on me and how I am doing. Living at McGregor has a been a great change for me. I love the food, the people, and the grounds. It's just GREAT!

Mcgregor Nursing Home is great place and I'm happy to call it my home. I enjoy the grounds which they keep in great shape! The maintenance department is very efficient and gets stuff done very quickly. They treat me and everyone very well! I have truly enjoyed working with Ms. Lambert and Ms. Lockhart. They are like good music, finely tuned with the manner in which they work and serve the community.

McGregor is a fantastic place to live because of the way they look after seniors. It’s really quiet and grounds are beautiful. The staff here like Ms. Lockhart and Ms. Lambert are very patient, gentle and kind. I absolutely love it here!

I love the environment and the people who work here. It is quiet and peaceful. I could use some more space in the apartment but I love living here. It’s a lovely place to live and I enjoy living here. I love the different activities planned every month and the trips we take every week. It’s really nice. The director of independent living is great and she’s a pleasure to work with.

The facility at GoM is lovely. It includes elegant furnishings in public areas, a lovely chapel, and well dressed rooms. I came there to recover from Achilles tendon repair. Now, I will describe the real beauty of GoM is the staff. I found the staff to be ever helpful, kind and personable. The folks on 2 South are absolutely wonderful! Jade creates many fun activities that will keep you busy and help you make friends. The therapy staff (physical, occupational and speech/memory) are professional, thorough, focused on your success and personable. They were the ones that got me ready to go home. The food is pretty good. Breakfast was always a hit with me. Most lunches and dinners were well prepared and tasty. GoM is a Medicare 5 star facility and I hope my humble review will help you see why.

.In December 2024, my mother moved into an independent living apartment, which initially required an emotional adjustment period. Thankfully, the supportive staff and comfortable facilities helped ease the transition. During her move-in weekend, we encountered concerns about her apartment, but Director Carolyn Lockhart swiftly addressed and resolved these issues. Since then, my mother has adapted remarkably well, forging strong bonds with her neighbors. Our family is incredibly grateful to McGregor's exceptional staff for ensuring my mother's well-being and providing us with peace of mind.

I traveled from Buffalo, New York, to visit my niece, Carolyn Lockhart, and had the pleasure of being invited to McGregor for the Summer Games. The environment was warm and welcoming - a wonderful atmosphere to watch seniors and younger people interact and enjoy each others company. The staff was incredible, friendly and helpful throughout the event. I even had the honor of meeting former Cleveland Cavaliers NBA players Campy Russell and Larry Nance Sr., which was a real highlight! I also had a great conversation with Denise Rucker from the division of seniors and adult services. It was inspiring to see the residents and stuff come together and participate in fun events like potato sack race and the six-legged race, all competing for the Gold Medal. The energy and joy were contagious. Overall, it was a memorable experience and I’m grateful I got to be part of it.

I'm really glad that I got my 90 yr. old. Mom on the McGregor Pace Program. When the time comes, she can apply for assist living. She's currently in the rehab center, and it's very nice. I feel good about McGregor.

Recently my family and I have made the difficult choice to move a parent into assisted living, and we ultimately choose McGregor Assisted Living, and I am so grateful to the staff there for making a difficult process less so. Starting with their sales office, Jolanda is amazing and so clearly goes above and beyond to help families who are struggling with tough decisions. Their nursing staff is wonderful, and Tracy has been so helpful and kind in terms of getting my parent evaluated and assessing their needs. Sandy the activities director is a ray of sunshine, encouraging participation with a ready smile on her face. There are wonderful supportive aides, like Margaret and Anne who make day-to-day life easier for my parent, and Belinda and Nan who are at the front desk are always happy and helpful when answering any of the many question that I might have. Vic who runs maintenance always seems to find solutions for any issues that come up, and finally Dana who is the director has been so patient and understanding as I go through the process of getting my parent settled. I have to say that the real test of assisted living is the countenance of the residents, and as I have become acquainted with McGregor, it is incredible to see how happy and nice everyone there is. They have all been so welcoming! Add to all of that, the building and grounds are lovely! We have only been involved with McGregor for three weeks, but so far, my family and I couldn’t be more pleased!

They had my grandma here some years ago before she died, very nice place very lovely grounds and extremely nice staff! They helped me find my grandma and even made me feel welcome to come anytime, that they didn't have closing hours. I don't know if that's changed by now but back in 2017 it was like that.

Disgusting how they are the Admissions and Hospice can kick rocks and blow bubbles, they are not as gracious and appeasing as they would lead to be and they are not trust worthy and they are just as vile as the next place for an assuming individual you would get pulled in to believe they care... they do not and they stand on others lies once revealed I am glad my loved one did not go into another bed of lies and betrayal with this facility, Unfortunately there are no good places any more for our loved ones, SMH.

I had been a long time astrainged from my mom due to deep family issues. But had been advised to reach out to her due to her declining health. So l contacted the McGregor nursing home to learn about her progress and how to proceed in getting the best information regarding my mother's care. They provided her guardian's contact number so l called and she stated my mom was in a hospice and not eating or communicating. She never went into any details as to why my mom was in a hospice care. She also said she would be unavailable for approximately two weeks due to her own medical issues. I told her I would call my mom and try to speak with her. I called and the nurse stated she wasn't eating or speaking so I told her I would call again. When I did call again a nurse curtly stated when I asked if she was eating and speaking, she said she wasn't going to get better and she wasn't eating or speaking to anyone. I thought that was unfeeling and harse since I didn't initially understand her condition very well. So l called again and finally got to communicate with my mom and we even had a short but lucid conversation on Mother's day. A day l will treasure and hold close to my heart. I left this review for the nurses and caregivers that you must no matter your load or schedule remember to be considerate of the families feelings during their time of crisis. But forever thank you for all you did for my mother.

I have had a parent in McGregor Assisted living since June 2020. I commend Director Magan Frame for leading such an amazing team. The Angels who work there are passionate about what they do. They treat my parent like family with love and respect. No one is perfect , nor is there a perfect facility, but the amazing team at McGregor do their personal best daily. I have peace and can sleep at night knowing my loved one is cared for. Thank you!!!!

My husband was there for 10 days, and came home with 2 pressure ulcers, a uti and dehydration. He needed assistance with eating, which was not given and his personal hygiene was not done - shaving and daily bathing, verified by visitors. When I tried to call him from out of town they either didn't answer the phone at that desk or were unable to connect me to the phone in his room. The building was beautiful and appeared clean. I was assured he would get good care while he was there.

This is probably the most beautiful nursing home ever . it's almost like a 5 star resort. However I should not have based what it looks like putting my mom there. The aides and some of the nursing staff appear -as if it's just a job. They lack professionalism. and speak to you about your loved one as if they are irritated by you. I felt my mom's care was not as good as it could have been... Seems. as if they were waiting on her to die..sadly she did.

my father is a resident here and I cannot praise this home enough, and it is truly a home for my father. He is treated with nothing but kindness in a beautiful enviornment that is always clean, safe and caring. The staff is always quick to call with any changes or info that are deemed important and when I visit he usually brushes me off for bingo or other scheduled activities. This place and it's staff are in my daily thank you prayers.
