We just moved my fiance's father here a few weeks ago. Everything seems great so far. Nurses are readily available and you don't need to wait too long to get help. Much better than the last facility.

My sister Mar-cee Russell was at the Arbors of Delaware and received excellent care. She was treated very well, kept clean, and was getting all of the attention she needed and more. The staff knew her, me, and my Aunt Dee Miller by name, and she was responding well to her speech and physical therapy. She was treated like family. Unfortunately, she was moved from this facility against me an other family members wishes because some felt the building was old, and decor was not up to par. It is not about the building, but the quality of care! It is about her recovery and nothing else. I pray that my sister is treated fairly in this brand new building she was sent to and won't be just another number. I hope she will get the level of care I wish I could give her in my home if allowed to do so. Please pray that she remains safe! Thank you Delaware of Arbors, you are missed, and I will not forget the loving-kidness you showed to my sister.

My Mom had outpatient therapy on her leg here. Amazing results! She is walking great and was given easy exercises to do at home to keep it strong. The Therapy staff was so great, along with the ADON and Administrator and all the other staff members we came across. Highly recommend for any rehab needs.

At first glance, The Arbors appears to be antiquated and dreary, but don't let that cloud your opinion of the care that is given. My wife had been in the memory care unit of a beautiful, new facility for two months before transferring to The Arbors. I came to realize that the appearance of a facility has little to do with the care that is received. Even though The Arbors is an older building, and the interior reflects that, many of the staff have worked there for years and are very experienced. Their tenure at this facility not only shows that it is a good place to work, but it allows the staff to understand the policies and procedures that are necessary to adequately care for your loved one. I've found the staff to be helpful and responsive to my wife's needs. I've seen other reviews on here complaining about the workers there. The staff are humans and no one is perfect. They deal with many stressful situations and not everything can be handled immediately. The place is clean and the food is very good - I've joined the residents for meals several times and can vouch for the quality of the food. Overall I gave The Arbors 4 stars because none of these places can be perfect, but The Arbors is good to very good. You know what they say - Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

I have worked at the Arbors at Delaware for a little over 2 years. The atmosphere is a comfortable , homelike setting. There is laughter and camaraderie between the residents and staff. The staff truly care about the residents and everyone works together as a team!

My family had a recent crisis where we needed to seek immediate nursing home care for for my dad. In collaboration with the VA, because my dad is 100% service connected, the team at Arbors at Delaware made the admission process and transition seamless. Working in the elder care industry myself, I have high standards and the team at Arbors provides just that-a high standard of care for someone I love. The administrative team was great to work with right off the bat, taking the burden from me AND the entire team of nurses, STNA's and even the maintenance staff took dad in with open arms. Dad is as happy as a clam at Arbors at Delaware!

Everyone there is so caring and friendly! My mom with alzeheimer's knows where we are when we park to take her for a respite stay! She loves going and when I pick her up She's having a good time and not sure she wants to go home with me! I can truly take a break and relax knowing she is very well taken care of during her stay! We love Arbors of Delaware!

My husbans recently completed a rehabilitation stay at The Arbors in Delaware. We feel very fortunate to have experienced the wonderful care and patience of their staff. I was impressed by their physical and occupational staff, the nursing staff, and the caring support staff. They were constantly cleaning the halls and the rooms. You could see the food was not only flavorful but made to entice the patients to eat. All in all they made his stay productive as well as comfortable.

I have worked here for two years now and the atmosphere is wonderful for all the residents here. They are all encourage top participate in the many activities that are offered. All the staff here at the Arbors interact with the residents and we all have a great relationship with each and every one of them. I am grateful that I not only work with a great bunch of co-workers but I love the residents as well.
