The staff is what sets Symphony at Centreville apart! I will echo comments about Shawn. He was phenomenal with my mother, AND our whole family. His training and expertise in all things related to elder care are only surpassed by his genuine affection and dedication to those in his sphere and care. I could not ask or hope for better.

I looked at multiple different facilities before deciding on symphony for my mother. There was no other choice than this facility they were the only ones that actually took the time to know who my mom was before this disease. They wrote a whole profile for the staff to get to know her. She's really come out of her shell since moving and made so many new friends. I can't thank everyone enough for all that they do… it's not easy work!

I'm a social worker at a rehab in Centerville. The transition from rehab to assisted living can be very confusing for families and new residents. In the last year I have gotten to know Shawn-Patrick and the passion he has for making that transition as easy as possible for everyone is why I always recommend Symphony to my clients that could benefit from their care. They have continued therapy after rehab ends, and that is something not everyone offers! They throw awesome parties, and I've gotten to know some other team members, who share the same passion for seniors. 10/10

I have had the opportunity to visit this community several times and each and every time it has impressed me. Community is the key word: the staff are friendly, responsive, and caring; the grounds and building are very well taken care of and clean, with a secure courtyard that feels like a park; and the food is tasty, fresh, and healthy. Having personally had a family member with dementia I wish I would have known about Symphony when we needed help.

I toured a lot of different places and of all, Symphony was the only one that genuinely seemed to care about getting to know my family. There was so much going on, they had a jazz group playing for all of their residents. I can tell the employees really care about everyone there. We are not ready to move grandma just yet but when the time comes I know Symphony is home.

We moved Mom here after becoming unhappy at another location. We were hooked after the tour - such a huge difference in the physical environment and activities. The staff here fully engages with the residents. They're not stuck in their rooms all day. They're encouraged to interact with each other with fun activities. Mom is healthier because of their attention to the mind and body. The facility is clean and looks like a fancy hotel. The staff seems happy and are always so kind and friendly to both us and Mom. Good staffing is the key and Symphony must be treating their team well. I wish we'd moved Mom here sooner.

Our mother was at Symphony at Centerville for over a year until her passing. The facility has so much to offer...a courtyard for residents to get some fresh air, a wonderful activities program, tasty food, and very clean environment. The staff at Symphony shows every resident so much kindness, respect and love. It is evident that the staff all have a special heart for memory care...they love all of the residents and treat them like they are their own parent.

My mother spent 1 year at Symphony after 7 months at another assisted living facility. Symphonys facility and especially the people are incredible. Almost all the residents have dementia and the staff is remarkable in their dealing with the residents. All the staff all the time. The cleaning lady, the maintenance man, the kitchen staff, the aids and the nurses all treat the patients with a smile and unbelievable patience. I never witnessed a staff member lose their patience with a resident. And I spent a lot of time there, especially at dinner in a full dining room. The facility was always clean as well as moms room. Unlike the previous facility, I rarely smelled urine. The rooms had a home style furnace and AC in a locked closet with a covered thermostat versus a hotel style unit at the other facility. Huge improvement and no tampering by the resident.

I have worked closely with both Dani and Carrie at the Symphony and I cant begin to tell you how wonderful they are as well as the staff at the facility. I have witnessed first hand the care and compassion for all of the residents and the kindness they share with not only their residents but also with the community. I have been to Symphony at Centerville several times in the past few years to tour and I am always impressed at the sense of calm they have perfected. Residents are able to walk freely and safely throughout their home at Sympjony and have many opportunities to engage with neighbors, staff and various activities that are always readily available. I work closely with both Heather and Dani and they are always incredibly communicative, quick and efficient when helping to facilitate a move in of one of my patients. Families feel at ease from the first conversation they have with the team at Symphony, and my clinical team and I know our patients are safe and will continue to thrive when they move into Symphony. Always happy and excited to introduce more families to this team that truly knows how to do memory care!

My mother has lived at Symphony at Centerville for almost two years now, while weve had our ups and downs here and there they have really perfected their craft. The staff is wonderful, especially the caregiver Joyce, the cooks are excellent, we really like Karen and our mothers room was always tidy when we were there. My family cant say enough about Rae, the Activities DIrector she truly loves what she does and it shows. Rae has been even more amazing during the shutdown with FaceTime calls, porch visits, sending pictures of my mother and the list goes on! She has become apart of our family during our mothers time at Symphony and my mother adores her, she can always get her to smile or laugh even in her current state. Symphony is a wonderful place, we are glad we found it! Thank you for everything you do!

Symphony of Centerville is all around an amazing place I have been a nurse for five years and a caregiver before that I worked at three different nursing homes and I can honestly from the bottom of my heart truly say this is the best place Ive ever worked staff is friendly and go over and beyond their expectations just because they clock out doesnt mean they stop caring or thinking about our residents its a 24-hour facility and our caregivers Go 24 hours a day caring and thinking about our residents and what we can do better how we can make them happier and what suits their needs would help their stay be more comfortable Ive never been happier as a nurse or more proud to say I work somewhere the smiles I see on family members faces on a daily basis as were going through our shifts is what keeps us going we put residents and Families First its a beautiful place inside and out. I am a proud nurse from Symphony of Centerville and would recommend to any one of my love members and to yours.

I love working here! Ive been an aide since 2010 and this is the first facility I have worked at where upper management will not hesitate to help take the load of whether its a day where someone has called in sick and we could use the extra hands or just come back to help us because they truely appreciate our work. Ive begged for this sort of employee commitment and to finally have it is bliss. Im now a laundry aide instead of a caregiver but still the level of understanding and appreciate never dropped an ounce. You will come across things you dont like in almost every facility you work in but here a symphony they strive to be problem solvers and quick fixers and for that I am confident they will succeed no matter what. Communication is key here and I hope for many more years being a part of what Ive come to find as a work family in just 9 short months. Thank you symphony for caring for me as more than just an employee.
