In November 2024, due to myriad health issues, we were in need of long term care for my wife. We visited St. Leonard to review what hey might provide and were quickly impressed by the variety of accommodations, services available, socialization and coordination of care. The care staff was superb, tending to all her needs. There were plenty of activities and the available medical staff was easily accessible. All services were available in an "all carte" fashion allowing us to pick and choose what we needed. Medication management was spot on and the nursing staff was fully aware of her needs. My wife has now come home and settled into a new normal. I can very comfortably recommend and commend St. Leonard for al they can and did provide for us.

Google Review Five Stars My wife and I are beginning our eighth year in a garden home at St. Leonard and we couldn’t be happier. Our home has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living-dining room, an updated kitchen and laundry room and a two-car garage. We share a den with four windows and a door that leads to a pleasant patio. We are blessed with a dedicated maintenance man who responds quickly. The staff is professional and friendly. Our home-away-from home is the Franciscan Center, which has the highly-regarded Station House restaurant and a well-equipped fitness room with a swimming pool and exercise classes. First and foremost for me, though, is the peace of mind knowing that my wife will be well cared for.

Jennifer Leonard is the manager of the Joseph Bernadin residence. She is simply fantastic to deal with on whatever topic is at hand. My mother lived there for many years and made some very good friends. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live.

My motivation for choosing St. Leonard was to find A permanent home as I continue my journey through the final stages of my life. Saint Leonard offers many levels of care all located on the campus. It is comforting to both my family and myself to know I am home, even if even if my physical layout changes. Many residents choose to agent place, which is also an option. No need to be concerned with the quality of your care you receive as you move through these life stages so when the time arise for you to make your choice, You and your family will have no concerns with the quality of care that you will receive. It will be good. There are multiple social events, to participate to participate in and volunteer opportunities in many areas to take advantage of your special skills. There is a church on the grounds that services multi religious face. These are just a few examples of the extracurricular offered at the campus at Saint Leonard’s. If you are contemplating downsizing as a couple, as a single person or have lost a loved one Saint Leonard’s is very worth considering as your next home!

My husband and I have lived at St Leonard's for almost three years. Our friends told us we were "too young" for a senior living community. That has not been the case for us. We moved in while both of us were is our seventies and it has been one of the best decisions that we have made. We volunteer, take advantage of lectures and social events and most importantly have made great friends. We have the security of knowing that if our circumstances change and we require nursing care we can stay right on campus. The staff and residents have created a community of caring and I am grateful to be a part of it.

We live here in an independent living garden home. I enjoy having staff to call upon for home maintenance without having to pay extra. Most of all, I enjoy the many activities here on campus - it’s impossible to get bored here. The campus is well-maintained and the wooded walking paths are wonderful. It’s easy to get to know fellow residents, including those with interests similar to mine. It’s good to know that St. Leonard’s can accommodate its senior citizens in whatever health situations they find themselves.

We attended a Christmas Party in the Traditional Assisted Living wing at St Leonard! WOW, was it nice! There was catered food, Mr and Mrs Santa, games and presents! My mother is a resident there and she had such a great time! And it was so well attended! The staff did an incredible job! We are so looking forward to more of these gatherings! Thank you to all!

We’ve been here 4 months, and everyone we’ve met has been truly wonderful. Our neighbors welcomed us right away, and every event (there are so many fun opportunities ) we’ve participated in has brought us more friendships and laughter. Through her proffesional, caring attitude she's helping residents and non residents to find a way to overcome memory issues. A++++ HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We just moved our mom to Assisted Living @ SL (from Independent Living @ SL). Everyone we dealt with has been fantastic (Finance, Marketing, Maintenance, Move Coordinators, Nurses & Aids). Each went beyond our expectations to help make this transition smooth. Our mom is safe and well taken care of - everyone has been kind. Staff is knowledgeable and well trained. Mom has been @ SL for 15 years; has always been happy here since losing our Dad. IMO, SL is the best place overall (especially financially & safety) for quality senior living.

My brother has lived at St. Leonard for over 7 years in Independent Living in Chaminade Hall. He is very happy at St. Leonard and enjoys many of the activities. The staff and management are all doing a great job. They take wonderful care of all residents and go above and beyond what is required of them. My mother was a resident of St. Leonards for 10 years. She had her own room and bath in Chaminade Hall and took all meals in the dining room. They had great food and wonderful care from all of the workers there. Whenever the residents were going to a special event such as a show at LaComedia, etc the management somehow always had an extra ticket for her. After some health issues she moved into the Assisted Living. They also took great care of her until she passed away. I would highly recommend St. Leonards to anyone needing a place for a loved one to live.

St. Leonard’s has been a Godsend for my moms Senior Care. Because she was a member of the church on campus since the 70’s she feels at home, especially when she hears the bells chime. Her dementia has led her to the skilled nursing facility on campus since December. My mom has never been happier,cleaner or safe since moving there from JBR. She has been extremely well cared for by the staff. I had thought of moving her closer to me in Cincinnati, but in no way can I find such good care for her than she is receiving from St Leonard’s. Thank you all so much!

We have been at St. Leonard's for a little over a year and feel we have chosen the perfect place for our final years. The staff and maintenance crew have been so helpful providing for us at any time we call. The grounds are kept up and always look beautiful. Though I have only been here a short time, I am very pleased with decision to come. Everyone on the staff, from the cleaning personnel, to the food service workers, to the supervisory staff, to the nurses and assistants, visiting professionals, even to the Executive Director, have been kind, welcoming and competent. There seems to be an underlying spirit of we want you to be comfortable and well taken care of. I have not yet had much chance to explore the property and its many buildings, what I have seen inside and outside (mostly from my window) seems well maintained and well used. Thank you.

The care team at St. Leonard is top notch. The nursing staff, the OT and PT staff, as well as the social services and marketing people have all made my father’s transition from the hospital through their rehab and soon into their Assisted Living facilities as smooth as possible. They have treated my aging father with compassion and humanity every step of the way. For anyone forced to quickly make tough decisions on care for their loved ones, I recommend them very highly. And for anyone looking to make a difference in geriatric health care fields, St. Leonard is the place. They have given me peace of mind at one of the more difficult and stressful times of my life.
