There are numerous styles of private and semi-private senior living residences available here. Residences have living room, bathrooms, and activities areas. Members of our staff are extensively trained to care for senior Dayton residents and everything they need. We continually strive to assist our residents for the highest quality of life we can provide for them. St. Leonard meal plans that are prepared with fresh ingredients daily from specially designed menus. We also offer snacks between meal times. Private dining, family style, cookouts, picnics are all available for every style of meal that could be desired. We can accommodate for nearly every type of diet.
St. Leonard Amenities & Services
Devotional Services Offsite, Indoor Common Areas, Activities Onsite, Meals Provided and other perks are available to all residents. Seniors enjoy the comfort of their new home while our friendly, well-trained staff is available for anything they may need or want.
We do our best to make sure each resident is able to sustain a healthy, fulfilling life during their stay. In order to do this, our facility has Complimentary Transportation, Pets Allowed, No Smoking Allowed in Private Areas Indoors, No Smoking Allowed in Public Areas Indoors, Hospice Available to keep them active. After all, one of the keys to staying independent is staying active.

My mother was a resident of St. Leonards for 10 years. She had her own room and bath in Chaminade Hall and took all meals in the dining room. They had great food and wonderful care from all of the workers there. Whenever the residents were going to a special event such as a show at LaComedia, etc the management somehow always had an extra ticket for her. After some health issues she moved into the Assisted Living. They also took great care of her until she passed away. I would highly recommend St. Leonards to anyone needing a place for a loved one to live.

I love this place so very much !!!! And my favorite thing is the manager Jen love her … need her she’s so wonderful and I finally feel at home!!!! Love love her and my home… I am so blessed to be able to live here and blessed to have MY MANAGER JEN !!!!!

I was in rehab for a week and my private room was great and so was the nursing service.Meals were good and you have plenty of choices. I live at St Leonard’s also in independent living and love it!!

I have lived at St. Leonard for 8 years now and making that move was the best thing I ever did for myself. I ❤️❤️❤️ living here. ! We have the best staff ever and the residents are really friendly.

Rehab is wonderful with caring staff. Gail is a wonderful advocate and does not miss a detail. Desiree, social worker, is a pleasure to work with and is willing to always help through this difficult process. We are grateful for the compassion and care they gave our mother throughout the rehab process.

Nurses and aides were very caring - knowledgeable - and prompt. Compliments to the chef - food was excellent. Physical and Occupational Therapists very knowledgeable -answered questions and caring Stay at St. Leonards was very helpful in getting my husband on the way to recovery

Everyone was wonderful. I was very pleased with the staff, they were always helpful and considerate. My 2 week stay actually flew by. I would choose St. Leonard again and highly recommend their rehab facility.

St Leonard is a beautiful place. Well maintained, good staff and the food is pretty good too. The one thing I have noticed is that the staffing of the aids is not good. Many days we only have 1 aid for 15 people. They need to have an on call list that if someone cant come in. Then they call the person on call. Just as in the hospitals.

Our loved one has been attending the Adult day away program for a while now. The staff has been so helpful and wonderful with him. We are very pleased and would recommend St. Leonards to anyone.

I highly recommend St. Leonards! My first experience was with the beautiful folks at Dayaways. Dayaways is a special place for older adults that need supervision while their caregiver is away. Lisa Frantz and her team took amazing, compassionate care of my Mom during the day while I worked. I knew she was in good hands. My Mom is now in the memory care unit, where she continues to receive amazing care. She enjoys her time with Beth Wint and her team, as they go on outings to lunch or planting in the garden. The people at St. Leonards are a wonderful bunch and I couldnt ask for a better place for my sweet Mom. They are the answer to my prayers.

My mother was at St Leonard to finish recovering from life-threatening post-surgical complications. Shed been transferred 14 times in the previous 5 months, insurance requiring her to move to a different type of medical facility with every shift in her condition. We speak from hard won experience when we say St. Leonard was excellent. They treated her like a person, not a patient. The facility inspired hope, from the lovely grounds to the family-room style hallways. The staff was attentive and genuinely cared about her wellness. When she left to finally go home, one of the nurses even cried happy tears. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

My wife Janice and I love the services available at the St, Leonard Franciscan living Center. the acceptance of us to the Silver Sneakers program has been really helpful in keeping ourselves healthy as we advance in years. The staff members go overboard to make us feel welcome at every visit. The food is excellent and I look forward to prime rib night. We have made a decision to spend more time in Centerville vs my home in Kentucky ,so this will allow us to take more advantage of the timely and important programs presented on ageing as well as the entertainment nights.

Both of my parents were cared for at St. Leonards. My father was taken there after a devastating stroke. He was well cared for with dignity through the end of his life. I would say the same for my mother who died of Alzheimers after being a resident for nearly 13 years. St. Leonards is a top facility and I recommend it highly.
