St Leonard's is a fabulous community to live in! It has so much to offer that it is really fantastic. We are very fortunate to have pools, exercise rooms, a restaurant, many levels of care, all sorts of special events, and wonderful staff. The grounds and maintenance people take such good care of our cottages and all of the facilities. We have a very active volunteer group who help St Leonard's continue to grow and thrive. My husband and I have lived at St Leonard's for a year and a half. We were not sure what to expect when we made the move and were a little apprehensive. That being said ,it has been the best decsision we have made. There is always something to do or learn. Most importantly the people here, staff, management team and our neighbors are the among the most caring individuals. We live in a great neighborhood and we are always celebrating something! I would and do recommend St Leonard's when considering a senior living community.

My mother was a resident of St. Leonards for 10 years. She had her own room and bath in Chaminade Hall and took all meals in the dining room. They had great food and wonderful care from all of the workers there. Whenever the residents were going to a special event such as a show at LaComedia, etc the management somehow always had an extra ticket for her. After some health issues she moved into the Assisted Living. They also took great care of her until she passed away. I would highly recommend St. Leonards to anyone needing a place for a loved one to live.

Though I have only been here a short time, I am very pleased with decision to come. Everyone on the staff, from the cleaning personnel, to the food service workers, to the supervisory staff, to the nurses and assistants, visiting professionals, even to the Executive Director, have been kind, welcoming and competent. There seems to be an underlying spirit of we want you to be comfortable and well taken care of. I have not yet had much chance to explore the property and its many buildings, what I have seen inside and outside (mostly from my window) seems well maintained and well used. Thank you.

Jennifer at the Joseph Bernadin Residence is wonderful! I was helping my mom complete the paperwork to apply for an apartment and Jennifer was so kind and helpful. She guided me every step of the way and answered all of my questions quickly. Jennifer has a patient and caring way of making you feel welcome and wanted. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents at JBR. With so many perks and such a wonderful manager, I know my mom is going to love it there!

After a relatively short notice that our mother needed additional care in an assisted living environment, St. Leonard's was very responsive and compassionate during our search for the right program. St. Leonard's invited Mom and our family for a guided tour, explaining the broad variety of programs and services available. We left impressed and convinced that St. Leonard's was the right place for her. The staff was accommodating in setting the move date and very helpful in answering questions leading up to the move. Mom's apprehension of this life changing moment was quickly put at ease on her move in day once she met the staff and her neighbors. She is excited meeting new friends, feels safe and secure, and has a new optimism that we have not seen in some time. The experience has been a relief for her and our entire family. Thank you, St. Leonard's!

October 2023
The care team at St. Leonard is top notch. The nursing staff, the OT and PT staff, as well as the social services and marketing people have all made my father's transition from the hospital through their rehab and soon into their Assisted Living facilities as smooth as possible. They have treated my aging father with compassion and humanity every step of the way. For anyone forced to quickly make tough decisions on care for their loved ones, I recommend them very highly. And for anyone looking to make a difference in geriatric health care fields, St. Leonard is the place. They have given me peace of mind at one of the more difficult and stressful times of my life. Our dad is in great hands.

June 2023
St. Leonard's has been a Godsend for my moms Senior Care. Because she was a member of the church on campus since the 70's she feels at home, especially when she hears the bells chime. Her dementia has led her to the skilled nursing facility on campus since December. My mom has never been happier, cleaner or safe since moving there from JBR. She has been extremely well cared for by the staff. I had thought of moving her closer to me in Cincinnati, but in no way can I find such good care for her than she is receiving from St Leonard's. Thank you all so much!
June 2023
I admitted to st Leonard's and could not be more happy. The quality of care is exceptional and top of the line. Each and every staff member is wonderful and has treated me better than I could ask for. It is very clear to tell this is a well run campus from the top level down. I am currently at the health and rehab center and am really excited and looking forward to moving into a cottage with my husband next month. God is good and has blessed me to be cared for by this exceptional campus.
June 2023
I wanted to pass on a special thanks to the staff at St. Leonard's. I wanted to say we are grateful for some past and most recent events my mother has experienced. I believe the service and quality of life offered her has been a great experience for myself, my mother, and our entire family. Stephanie and Jennifer have been supportive and awesome. The care staff have answered all questions and she has received care way better than we ever anticipated. She moved to st. Leonard's a year ago - it is the best thing we have done for her. You are the best. Thank you so much - our entire family thanks you.

I can't give a high enough review for St. Leonard in Centerville, Ohio. The folks that run this facility (Kelly Lance) are the most top-notch thorough people in town. They are always so positive, and personable, and flexible, and their annual BoomerFest Festival is the absolute BEST in town! It's so organized and inclusive and offers everything from classic cars, food trucks, kids activities, specialized craft beers, and the best live music under the protection of multiple humongous tents.....plus it's free! St. Leonard is a class act run by even classier leaders in our community! Bravo & thanks!

February 2021
I am currently a resident at this community. I have multiple things that need or should have needed addressed. I have been here since February 26, 2021 minus the different hospital stays. I have been back since July 5th. Today has been a day that seems to be on repeat. Shifts will start and it seems like it will be a good day but staff are CONSTANTLY being pulled from our hall which makes the care go down. My aide/aides barely have time to help with basic toileting because there are multiple people needing assistance. My area was late with everything today from meals to medicines and forget getting anything but the basic bathroom assistance. This situation is hard on staff but it is becoming overwhelming as a resident. It's scary not knowing if your needs can be met or not. I'm lucky because I am mentally current but watching others who aren't with no one available to do more than bring them food and try to help them with their personal needs in a timely fashion has become very depressing. Today our one nurse and one aide tried extremely hard to take care of us all. I observed their anger and the feeling of not doing a good job. Some feel like they are failing and that is weighing them down. I have made friends with certain staff and they really care. The lack of validation that they talk about is distressing for them. As residents we are seeing and feeling the stress of this situation and it is becoming more alarming. Today was just another day in a long line of many days that this unit was shortchanged. Meals today were missing items and dinner was delivered to me cold. I've had kitchen staff tell me to not use a trashcan because it was for her use and then she complains to nurses that the trash can is sterile for her use. FYI this trashcan sits in the common area. I was just trying to not throw up all over the place. This was distressing to myself and the other people who saw the interaction. I think as a resident of your campus that worrying about staffing, especially if you lose the people who show the greatest empathy to our situations, quit because of all the terrible turmoil that is happening. Hot food hot and cold food cold will go a long way toward insuring that the food comes to us, residents, in a more pleasing way. The poor staffing almost took our night time aides off the floor to be put somewhere else. Thank goodness it didn't occur. It's stressful to say the least. I had no intention of doing it review until I was able to leave your facility but this last week has been difficult for all parties involved or at least those with any concerns for our care. Just because everyone looks okay doesn't make it so. Don't lose what good staff you have by not listening to what you are being told. Really listen.
December 2020
Rehab is wonderful with caring staff. Gail is a wonderful advocate and does not miss a detail. Desiree, social worker, is a pleasure to work with and is willing to always help through this difficult process. We are grateful for the compassion and care they gave our mother throughout the rehab process.
October 2020
Nurses and aides were very caring - knowledgeable - and prompt. Compliments to the chef - food was excellent. Physical and Occupational Therapists very knowledgeable -answered questions and caring Stay at St. Leonards was very helpful in getting my husband on the way to recovery
October 2020
Everyone was wonderful. I was very pleased with the staff, they were always helpful and considerate. My 2 week stay actually flew by. I would choose St. Leonard again and highly recommend their rehab facility.
August 2020
St Leonard is a beautiful place. Well maintained, good staff and the food is pretty good too. The one thing I have noticed is that the staffing of the aids is not good. Many days we only have 1 aid for 15 people. They need to have an on call list that if someone cant come in. Then they call the person on call. Just as in the hospitals.
August 2020
Our loved one has been attending the Adult day away program for a while now. The staff has been so helpful and wonderful with him. We are very pleased and would recommend St. Leonards to anyone.

April 2020
I highly recommend St. Leonards! My first experience was with the beautiful folks at Dayaways. Dayaways is a special place for older adults that need supervision while their caregiver is away. Lisa Frantz and her team took amazing, compassionate care of my Mom during the day while I worked. I knew she was in good hands. My Mom is now in the memory care unit, where she continues to receive amazing care. She enjoys her time with Beth Wint and her team, as they go on outings to lunch or planting in the garden. The people at St. Leonards are a wonderful bunch and I couldnt ask for a better place for my sweet Mom. They are the answer to my prayers.
March 2020
Absolutely LOVE this facility! The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. The residents are sweet and kind. Beautiful place to visit and have your loved ones.
November 2019
What a phenomenal community of care and compassion! All the team members I interact with are truly exceptional and Im grateful there is a community of this quality available for our aging citizens.
May 2019
Very nice facility, better than most
November 2018
My mother was at St Leonard to finish recovering from life-threatening post-surgical complications. Shed been transferred 14 times in the previous 5 months, insurance requiring her to move to a different type of medical facility with every shift in her condition. We speak from hard won experience when we say St. Leonard was excellent. They treated her like a person, not a patient. The facility inspired hope, from the lovely grounds to the family-room style hallways. The staff was attentive and genuinely cared about her wellness. When she left to finally go home, one of the nurses even cried happy tears. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
