I recently visited this facility and upon walking in, I immediately felt the warmth and kindness of the staff. It was happy hour with music and residents were having a wonderful time. The decor is a little outdated, but the friendliness is so much more important. My mom was in a brand new facility and it was beautiful. But the staff did not plan things for residents and it was very boring. I don’t understand the one star reviews, but I suspect a few are from disgruntled former employees. I highly recommend this facility.

We have been very happy with our Mom's home at Brookdale. She loves her apartment in Independent Living; the staff is very responsive and caring. My Mom feels safe and never worried at all during COVID - they followed every rule and protocol and kept a clean and healthy building. She loves the activities and most of all, she loves the staff. They are the best. Five star!

I did a lot of research before committing to Brookdale Kettering. I toured the facility and spent some time talking with some of the staff before making my decision. They have been very accommodating to allow my two emotional support dogs. Even with the pandemic, they have provided a wide variety of activities to keep us all involved in the community here at Brookdale. I especially like the Catholic service on Thursday mornings. The staff I come into contact with on a daily basis are friendly and courteous and outgoing. I really appreciate them, and I enjoy the quality of life here at Brookdale Kettering.

Excellent food the staff Are very nice I have been in other assisted facilities that mistreat Patience but I never saw this at Brookdale Kettering, A lot of activities and since it is a large facility you always get plenty of exercise besides the wonderful exercise classes

The independent living, located on Walden way has been an answer to prayers for my dad. The staff there go out of their way and genuinely care about the residents.It has been perfect. My dad has his own apartment, but they provide meals and he wears a pendant for emergencies. If they dont see him, someone goes to check on him. He has his independence, while I have piece of mind. It is amazing.

My 94 year old mother has been in assisted living there a little over a year and they take very good care of her. She was in independent living at another facility before moving to Brookdale Kettering. She is much more involved in activities at Brookdale and everyone is very nice and helpful to both mom and myself as her power of attorney.

You will never see a more excited and lively group of employees and elderly citizens anywhere else!! Brookdale residents are so very well taken care of, and if someone has any true doubts they should go and check it out for themselves. I have volunteered to help work events in the past and they are so much fun!! Whether its St.Pattys day, Easter, breast cancer awareness, Valentines Day, etc, there is ALWAYS an interactive activity going on there and seeing the residents and employees have so much fun is so enlightening. Ive known Lynn Fugate for many years, and I can whole heartedly say that her job really is just her home away from home. She tells stories to us about her residents, how much fun she has, the activities she wants to plan..and if you dont believe it, check out the videos. She is always posting videos about the fun things they have going on there. She loves her residents as if they were her own family. I cant count how many times we have stayed up making decorations or candy sleighs for the Christmas party or gluing New Year hats together! Brookdale makes their residents want to get up and go out into the dining area and interact..they dont just sit in their rooms unattended to. To see the glow and light in each residents eyes when theyre enjoying a holiday party or having fun at their nightly activities is a beautiful thing. Lynn could name every resident and some fun facts about each of them. Someone who doesnt care and doesnt dedicate their life to their job wouldnt be able to do that. Its a special community, with amazing employees. Im so glad to have been able to be a part of the events I was. Id have to say bringing in the mechanical bull was my favorite! My mother was in Brookdale for 6 years everyone was very caring And helpful in every way she started in her own little apartment and was very happy the food was very good and a wonderful selection the manager is very articulate in every way . Every holiday is celebrated and so much fun There is entertainments to do almost every day .Brookdale has a very enthusiastic program director Lynn Fugate isso very good at her job it is amazing She makes everyone feel special I would refer Brookdale to anyone who goes to assisted livingMy mother was taken excellent care of , the staff are very good girls andBrookdale is always cleanAll residents are treated great everyone I talked to love this place

I have worked as a driver at Brookdale for a few years now, and all the residence seem to love the activities, trips, and parties. I love to get them dancing at the parties I stay and help with. Lynn is great - so creative.

I had the opportunity to start my career here 8 years ago and since moving on have gotten to visit many times. One thing has remained constant, the residents are always happy and engaged every time I stop in. No matter the time of day or day of the week, there is always something going on for residents and families to get involved in. Friends I made when I worked there are still happy and thriving in their home! Lynn goes above and beyond when coming up with new and innovative activities and programs and always amazes me with her energy and creativity when planning events. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Kettering to those looking for an independent or assisted living community, or somewhere to grow or start their career!

As a former employee, I can tell you the residents at Brookedale Kettering are always happy and well cared for. The activities planned for them are always amazing, and the residents thoroughly enjoy them. They cant wait to see whats planned next.
