We support most senior living communities in and around Columbus. The team at Willowbrook is exceptional. Everyone including management, nurses, aids are very caring and compassionate. Both directors of Nursing, Mary Jane. In assisted living and Theresa and skilled nursing are amazing to work with. They are extremely dedicated to their teams and their residents.

Let me start by stating that we only had the privilege of getting to know the staff at Willow Brook Christian Home for 60 days. In that short time I saw more care and concern for an individual than many will experience in a lifetime. I am not going to name individuals, but simply state that they are all extremely caring. I will mention a few examples, one night as my mother in law was having a restless night one of the nurses rubbed her back and in the softest most caring way told her that she was safe, protected and that there was nothing to fear, it brought me to tears, one of the aides would read the Bible and pray with her, this comforted her so much that I cannot put it into words. Even the Director of Assisted living would allow her to sit in her office during day and would read God's word to her when she had a spare moment. My heart has a void from our loss, but the kindness, love and compassion showed to her during her last 60 days was immeasurable. If you miss seeing what this facility has to offer, you are doing your loved ones a disservice. I want to say thank you to the entire staff for everything that they did to make those days better.

Our mom lived at Willowbrook Christian Home for three years before passing recently. I cannot express enough how grateful all her daughters were that she was able to be taken care of with such love and patience. Before visiting, we researched staff turnovers at facilities and asked questions of friends who either worked in the field or had experience with Assisted Living. While Willowbrook didn’t have the fancy faade of some of the other facilities, it was clear that residents were priority and treated like family. The homey atmosphere rang true to mom’s small town roots. It also came with high praise from those who knew. Mom truly loved her caretakers as second family. My dad stayed at Willow Brook to rehab after surgery. The staff was wonderful, food was good, and the facility was very clean. The rehab staff were extremely helpful and patient! It was very refreshing experience after a prior rehab stint somewhere else! Consistent staff who are extremely caring and friendly makes a huge difference! I highly recommend Willow Brook.

I knew about Willow Brook Christian Home because my husband's father did rehab there after an injury, about 10 years ago. We were very lucky to get a room here for my mother after an illness in November 2017. After about a month in rehab/nursing, we were able to get a room for my mom in the assisted living area. We had always hoped that we could take care of my mom at home forever. She is now 98 and her needs simply were greater than my immediate family could provide. What we discovered was that Willow Brook became our extended family. The nurses and aides and activities people and dining room staff and cleaning staff and facilities maintenance crew--EVERYBODY--took both my mother and the rest of our family under their wing. If I've forgotten anyone, forgive me. They are all family now. It's not easy to make the transition to assisted living for anyone in the family, but thanks to Willow Brook, we have never second-guessed our decision. It is like we have a whole team helping us with our mom. I can call them anytime. They all know her personally. They can tell me how she's eating, sleeping, communicating, whether or not she's been smiling. They have been excellent communicators with doctors and hospitals. Something that really amazed me at first was how well the staff communicated with each other. If, for example, we talked over something with one staff member I'd head down to tell another staff member. They'd always say: Oh I know about that, they already told me. Some of you might identify with the feeling that when your parent is in the hospital or in rehab YOU have to constantly be there to advocate for them. That never hurts, but at Willow Brook, they are my mom's advocate too. Did I mention that the food is REALLY good? I could write a lot more. But just be assured I definitely recommend Willow Brook Christian Home. I have told the manager that if anyone wants to talk to a family member of a resident, I would be happy to do so and answer any questions you might have.

My mother and father have been in assisted living at Willow Brook for several months. They both are happy with the care that they receive. The staff is consistent which is hard to come by in a long term care facility. Most of all, they are caring. We chose a non-profit facility that was dedicated to the mission of caring for people not just making money and it shows at Willow Brook ! The staff is flexible and will try anything to make my parents more comfortable. The administration is approachable and is very helpful to our family as we navigate this difficult time. We are very happy that we chose Willow Brook. No regrets !

I wrote a negative review of this place out of anger. I want to apologize to everyone involved. It was a knee-jerk reaction to a situation, and the fact I am 2.5 hours away from my mom, which creates frustration for me. There was a theft of my mom's rings which were on her finger. She is a resident and suffers from memory issues. However, the management and personnel at Willow Brook have bent over backwards to help the family with this situation. They called in the police and facilitated my sibling with making the police report. David Chappell, the administrator, has poured over video from the cameras in the hallways at the facility. This place is extremely clean. My mom is very happy there and well cared for.
