Mr.Oliver, The Director for activities does amazing job at overseeing a variety of fun activities. He is very polite, great sense of humor and has concern for all of our well being and social interaction. We have bingo, arts and crafts, Church, therapeutic music, exercising, puzzles, comedy, painting nails, bicycling ride in the community and so much more. His team members Ms. Dee and Ms. Wendy is friendly, caring, giving, supportive and have compassion for all people. Mr Corey, Miss Dee and Miss Wendy welcome all patients and family members with a smile. They make us all feel comfortable and keep us engaged. If any patients want to participate they will be happy to come and get us out of our rooms and take us back to our rooms. With my experience the activity department is number one and unmatched. Ms.Amy the night shift supervisor is kind hearted, helpful advice and supportive. I'm sure her job can be hectic at times but I observe her handling her expertise in her field with ease. If you ever cross her Path you would be encouraged and uplifted. We appreciate her being here if we need her ™. I don't know what you have heard but I have been here several times and Ms. Melissa Brown have still remain professional, friendly, helpful, respectful and I'm thankful for her unwavering supportive and kindness. From what I have felt and observed her nurses that I have had, Margaret, Rochelle, Ieasha, Clarissa, Neesha, Michelle are compassionate, amazing with treating me and other patients with outstanding professional care. The aids I have known the longest are Darlene, Ms.Mary, and Justice, they have been very consistent, very respectful, friendly, attentive, always asking if we need anything, checking up on us, changing our bed, making sure patients feel comfortable, ask us if we need anything let them know and they assure us we are welcome to have what we need and I feel they go over and beyond to make sure all patients are comfortable. As a patient on the nutus side I appreciate all the aids for what they do. Social Worker Ms.Diamond is very sweet, friendly, beautiful inside and out, approachable, respectful and helpful. She represent her title and name well even though she is a Diamond, She go around scaring the employees with her sense of humor side and she runs after scaring them. Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy experience is the best but you will need some rest, lol. It's a comfortable environment and everyone I have encountered is very nice. My Physical therapist Rodd Aka Chief is remarkable in getting me and all of his other patients to improve, very informative, helpful, patiant, great sense of humor, respectful and Professional. Wexner Heritage will give you the best care, if they didn't I wouldn't have came back. I appreciate everything they have done.

We support this community with emergency ambulance transport. Our team is always impressed with the care the residents receive from the entire Wexner Heritage Team. I provide customer relations to many facilities that we support. I visit this location on a regular basis and am impressed with how clean, quiet, and calm things are. Residents need rest to be able to recover quickly and fully. The staff here at Wexner provide an oasis for recovery. I have worked with unit manager Melissa Brown for some time now. She along with her team are the best.

I am in rehab for a broken leg. Been here for about 10 days. I have never been a patient in a rehab facility, so I'm not sure what normal is like. Each shift has a nurse and a nurse aide as well as other people working on food, physical therapy, cleaning, etc. Food is decent. PT is excellent. The only problem I've had was getting on a regular schedule with my pain killers. This was resolved by Melissa, who is the floor manager in charge of all the nurses and aides. The place is clean and seems to be well managed.

My grandma stayed at WHV two separate times. Once on the second floor after a fractured femur for rehab then to discharge home, and then again for long term care due to dementia. The care that was provided by the nurses, STNAs, rehab staff, activities staff, and housekeeping is unmatched. She was always well taken care of (bathed, dressed, and fed), and her room and facility was always immaculate! The activity staff was always sure to include her no matter what levels of cognitive levels she was at. I could never thank the staff at WHV enough for their time and care provided to her!

If you read the reviews you might not ever send a loved one to Wexner Heritage. My father was there for 24 days and the care and love that was shown was amazing. Building staff are professional and laid back. You read alot about the food and it is just fine no its not 5 star dining but taste is just fine and portions are generous. Overall very happy about my choice to place Dad here for his rehab and dialysis. Thank you all very much

My mother came to the Wexner Heritage Village and spent a month there. We needed a place where she could get dialysis on site and were told Wexner is the best of those places. She was treated kindly by the nurses and aides. Selma the social worker was absolutely wonderful and really helped us navigate everything. In our experience good staff is everything and I felt good about the care she received while at the Wexner.

The care and kindness of the staff at Wexner Village Rehabilitation center was wonderful. Mom came out of hospital on dialysis and needing a lot of help. Wexner having dialysis on site was so convenient especially since her mobility was so limited. Selma was super helpful to us navigating this new territory. Her help and advice was invaluable and I don’t know what we would have done without her., The nurses, aides, PT, OT staff and all the support staff were wonderful as well.

I visited my grandmother today at Wexner Heritage Village, as I do often, and I want to start by saying that she’s always been treated well whenever I or other family members are around. That care and attention is the reason we’ve kept her here. We’ve always trusted that she’s in good hands. However, I’ve noticed something concerning. While visiting, I’ve repeatedly seen some of the nursing staff, especially the aides, speak to their coworkers in a disrespectful and unprofessional way when they think no one is paying attention. One aide in particular, named Erin, stood out for how she treated others on the floor. It’s uncomfortable to watch, and it makes me wonder what might be going on when my family and I aren’t around. If this kind of behavior continues, I may have to ask the person responsible for my grandmother’s care decisions to consider moving her to another facility. The way staff treat each other reflects the overall environment, and I want to be sure my grandmother is in a place that feels respectful and safe in every way. I hope management pays attention to these concerns and takes steps to address them. This facility has the potential to be a truly great place, but staff culture behind the scenes matters just as much as the care we see.

I had the privilege of having my mother and grandmother admitted to this facility. I think the staff is overworked and I see them doing multiple positions. The STN that really stands out is Darlene who really works hard. She has been taking great care of my grandmother and makes sure that she doesn’t need for anything. When I come to visit I constantly see her walking up and down the halls checking on her patients. She has truly been a blessing and I want to commend her for her awesome job. Keep up the good work and remember you are appreciated.

Amazing Day, I want to take this opportunity to highly recommend the facility. Giving glory to GOD for providing our dad with humbled, caring, and loving servants of his will like Mrs. Selma, Mrs. Joe and Mrs. Rhonda for their valued quality care and loving personalities that they bestowed upon our father, while he were in their care at Wexner Heritage Village Rehabilitation. The selfless service that was evident kept a smile on our father and family faces. The genuine family oriented personalities sparked brightly, daily through the staff mentioned above and through the staff not mentioned. It takes a village to complete a mission. Our dad demonstrated growth daily. The staff were very kind, patient, considerate, and humbled. Our dad is an African American elderly person, and he was well taken care of at this establishment. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of loving servants serving GOD's will. Although our dad were ready to be in the arms of his loved ones, he were blessed in their presence. If he asked for it, and they had it, he received it. They took time out to ensure his needs were met and that he received the respect and attention that he deserved. Thanks in abundance, Mrs. Selma, Mrs. Joe, Mrs. Rhonda and the entire Wexner Heritage village family, for the out pouring impactful quality moment shared caring for our loved one, our father . From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine care from the staff. Their dedication to providing top-notch care was evident in every interaction I had. The team's passion for their work shone through in the way they attentively tended to each resident's needs, fostering a sense of comfort and security. Moreover, the support system they've established is unparalleled. Whether it was emotional support, physical assistance, or just a listening ear, Social worker Selma, PCAs Tiffany, Mary,and Hawa, staff members were always there, going above and beyond to ensure my well-being. Wexner Heritage Village in Columbus 1151 College Ave Columbus, OH 43209. I came here on 2/22/24 and I feel the nurses,nurses aides and therapy department were so nice to me. I felt very comfortable with all of them. They made me at ease during my difficult time. I will be returning home this weekend and I feel confident that I will be able to provide my care with no problems thanks to the staff at Wexner Heritage Village. Both social workers Selma and Carrie were there to ease my fears about working towards my goal of returning home safely and helping to file my appeal with my first insurance cut. I can with confidence recommend to my friends and family and others that this is a terrific place to Rehab if you need it.

Whenever I have an issue and bring it to the attention of the staff, I get a timely response and the issue is typically resolved. Since my husband can't be at home, Wexner is a good alternative.

We moved dad to The Cottage for memory care from another facility and the care has been night and day from where he was. I had to stay here for 21 days, and had wonderful care. The two best nurses were Margaret and Enoch. They truly cared about me, and very professional. I also have to talk about the aids, the best being Wanda. She took such good care of me, better than any aid ever. I didn't have to ask her for hugs , which I truly needed. She gave them to me almost every time I saw her. She brightened by days. She is truly a gem. She is now a dear friend of mine. Other aids such as Samantha, Shay & Mel were very good. I have to also thank the wonderful physical therapists I had. Ryan, Jeff, Derrick and Noah, who also made me laugh, which I needed desperately. They are an asset to Wexner. They are amazing physical therapists. I also received great care from Dr. C. Thank you. I can't say enough good things about Selma. She helped me get thru this terrible ordeal. Thank you. Also, thank you to Tanya, so helpful in many ways. Thanks to Nicole for getting me my drivers to doctor appointments. Housekeeping was so thorough, Ruth and Ashley. I want to thank Creekside Village chefs and sous chefs for the best kosher food I've ever eaten in a hospital or nursing home. Everything was amazing. Thank you, and to the people who brought me my food. Thank you all for the best care possible! G-d Bless all of you!

I cannot say enough good things about WHV. Both of my parents and several close relatives have been residents and/or rehab patients over the past 20 years. I've spent enough time in the facilities, and observed and interacted with the staff to say, unequivocally, there is no better care facility in the Columbus area. I have felt this way for a long time, but that was reinforced with my experience during the pandemic. Making a decision for the care of your loved ones can be difficult; However, in wasn't for my family.

I was here and have great things to say about it. It's important when you're getting healthcare services that the people who are there to help you to actually get the service you need, are nice and friendly. That alone can aid you a speedy recovery and I'm happy to report that was my experience here at Wexner. W Helpful staff from Mary an aide, to Dawn a social worker, and w the pt/ot ladies I worked w, they all listened to me, the patient, and that's the only way to do it in healthcare in order to achieve a successful patient outcome. Even my complaints (of past experiences), and not just the warm fuzzy commendations, were listened to, accepted and then we were able to find an amicable solution, and gain agreement, for a tailor fit plan that will surely lead to my personal success in recovery. I'm forever grateful to have seen a provider of healthcare actually listen to the patient, me. This kind of win/win can only come from the great respect to my person, understanding of my personal needs and goals..and their patience displayed in our discussions, learning me, as an individual. I find this work ethic in this industry, stellar, as speedy/rushed communications can be incomplete, leading to undesirable outcomes. I'm glad I didn't feel the, rush w anxiety way, to understand you, that some places make you feel (OSU ) I won't speak on the facility operations itself since it's a certain religional reference that permeates the days processes and flows. That affects even the food you're brought, like no bacon w breakfast, but the faculty attention and kindness makes up for any of those lacks. I can speak to the support of the faculty I came across, and they all were great. There's just nothing bettr then great health care service, in which they did just that. I'm proud and pleased to have taken time to leave a review. I am one to leave bad reviews where needed, and Im glad i can't and don't need to do that here at Wexner. Only thing I have to tell the staff, keep up the great job you are all doing in your care for the ppl lives you come into. We do appreciate you. I think God does too. Thank you all for taking excellent care of me. Your work is exceptional and noted w me, forever. May God bless you all!

This is a very clean facility. My family member room was always clean and neat, the staff are friendly, professional nice clean and neat uniforms. From the front desk the greeters are friendly. The place seem to be very organized. It smells fresh and inviting. Hats off to Wexner Heritage Village. I would recommend this facility to everyone. Maybe other facilities can learn from this one. I entered Wexner Heritage Village for rehab after hip replacement surgery on November 16 and left November 21. On Thursday, November 20, about 3:00 p.m., the nurse gave me by remainder of my medications - Azeteline and Percocet, to take home The sheet of Percocet contained about 20 pills. I laid them on the bedside table. I left the room twice that afternoon. The Percocet disappeared. I am 77 years old and did not understand the value of Percocet and now realize I should not have left them on the bedside table. Medications should not be dispensed to patients until the time of discharge - this will eliminate any problems with theft of medications.
