I’m very grateful for the care my mother in love is receiving at Abbington of Arlington. The staff is so very kind, attentive, and treat residents with respect. They take the time to communicate clearly and help our family understand her needs. The facility is very clean and smells so good. I have stopped in at all different times and have been very impressed with the staff. They go to great links to make sure the resident’s needs are met. I am greatly impressed with Abbington of Arlington. I would recommend this facility to families looking for compassionate care.

I’m rating 5 stars because I have no experience with the actual care of Abbington, which seems good based on the reviews, but I do have a community concern. As someone who lives beside Abbington, there is someone (I assume an employee) who sits in their car in the parking lot and BLARES music for over an hour in the middle of the night. It wakes up my family and the bass is actually so loud that I can feel it in my walls. Please tell whichever employee this is to turn down their music or at least cut the bass.

This review is posted for Bob Alberini - Mom(Glenna) was a resident of Abbington of Arlington for almost a year. She never wanted to leave home but I just was no longer able to provide her with the kind of care she needed and deserved. The staff and residents of Abbington of Arlington provided her with a quality of life she would not have had while living at home. The facility offers so many varied activities and although nobody is forced to do anything, they encourage the residents to join in and they make it fun if they do. The staff not only provides for the necessities of life but treats the residents as if they are their family. They offer loving care to each and every person. And family members are always welcomed and encouraged to join in with the activities. I can't say enough good things about Abbington of Arlington and if the time comes when I need assisted livimg, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. If you or your family needs a place to call home, this is it.

Hands down the absolute best place! Madison,LaToya, Kristina, Kayla, Tracey and all of the amazing crew at Abbington have been nothing but welcoming to not only my grandma but to me! I have seen my grandma find her sparkle again, she is excited about life and is making friends. Abbington's strength is its staff and its residents. The aides are all kind, friendly, compassionate people who care about the residents they interact with. The residents have created a warm, welcoming community where people look out for one another. Madison and LaToya are continuing to make decisions so that Abbington of Arlington is a place where people choose to be. It's a place where I chose to be during a one-month stay, and I'm glad that's the choice I made. If you want a setting that is more like a neighborhood apartment complex or dorm staffed with 24 hour nursing and support help instead of an institutional corporate hospital setting, go with Abbington of Arlington!

Nobody wants to leave their home but if you need to because of health issues or the fear of being alone or you just can’t stay by yourself, then Abbington of Arlington is the place to come staff is great. Our activity director dot lots of fun stuff with us, going out to lunch and everyone’s favorite bingo 3times a week Our executive director is also awesome and will do whatever she can to make you happy our cooks are excellent come on you get your room cleaned and your laundry finished every week and you don’t have to lift a finger please come and check it out if you ever need an assistant living. Ask foy Debbie I will always make you feel comfortable and go out of my way to help you!!

My mom recently spent two weeks for respite care at the Abbington of Arlington. I had a great experience working with The Executive Director, Madison Adkins, to expedite Mom’s registration. Move-in was smooth, and everybody was very welcoming. With it being respite care, we had to bring linens and any medical support equipment, such as a walker and wheelchair. Otherwise the room was furnished, clean, and well-maintained. Mom has a very limited diet, but I had the opportunity to taste the food and it was excellent. Some of the best meatloaf I’ve had. I will certainly look to the Abbington of Arlington again for our next respite or long-term care needs.

I live out of state and just spent several days visiting my sister-in-law at Abbington of Arlington. The staff is caring and competent. They went out of their way to accommodate my sister-in-law who has unique health issues. The small size of the facility is helpful as nursing, management, and staff were apests available to answer my questions and give my sister-in-law the best possible care.

The level of care and compassion the staff has for the residents is fantastic. Those who live at Abbington are treated as capable and intelligent people and not old people who are just there paying the staff's salaries. Susanne has charged her staff with keeping the residents engaged in daily life and Tracey works tirelessly to keep them active and interested - body, mind and spirit.

My mother just moved there several days ago. She is sometimes hard to please but she loves it. She particularly loves the food. Everyone, staff and residents, have been very friendly and inviting. She has met several new friends already and has been to a lot of the activities that are scheduled throughout the day. Wonderful experience so far.

My 94-year-old Mother confided in me that she is much happier living at The Abbington of Arlington, than at her previous Senior Living Center. Her former residence had a corporate feel, whereas the Arlington has more of a family feel. She has found both the staff, and the other residents, to be more engaging. From my perspective, the staff could not have made the transition any easier.

Was a resident here following 3 weeks at Riverside Hospital. Staff are excellent - skilled, efficient and kind; was treated as if I was one of their family. Abbington felt like my home away from home. Food is very good. There are several places to relax or visit with others - porch, courtyard, screen rooms, sun room. It . is not a large facility, so staff know the residents well and provide excellent care
