I searched did the leg work to find the perfect assisted living facility for my mother-in-law I found exactly what I was looking for from my first conversation with Beth over the phone I had a good feeling. I scheduled a tour from the moment I walked through the door as I was shown the entire facility I felt welcome the care love and compassion I felt at home not only is it a beautiful facility with many amenities it is warm welcoming and comfortable just like home. Warm cozy friendly outstanding the menu activities always something to do As I left that day I cried tears of joy because I knew my mother in law would be comfortable well taken care of her needs would be met I wanted her to live what time she has left without a worry be well taken care of and be able to socialize with others and make friends whispering pines is everything you would dream of for a loved one I highly recommend taking a tour you will be amazed I will post pictures once we get her moved in in the meantime a tour you’ll be glad you did!

Gorgeous facility, friendly workers and happy residents. I just wish they'd had at least one hymnal as I wanted to take requests when I played my violin for my friends. Tons of Bibles available but no hymnals.

My grandma lives here! Great staff, amazing nurses and aides. She is so beyond happy here which makes us feel better about having to move her here. Beth at the front desk is awesome, Cara and Lulu are so adorable, Mariah is great, Dominica is such a great help with her. We love Landry as well as Renee! Great people. I recently had the pleasure of touring Whispering Pines Village Assisted Living & Independent living accommodations and was pleasantly surprised and very impressed. The facility was very clean, the staff very friendly, the administrators, (Kathy & Beth) extremely knowledgeable & professional. The atmosphere was warm & residential instead of clinical. They offered a variety of activities & entertainment for their residents. Highly recommend.

I am highly impressed with the cleaning staff and cleanliness of the facility as well as my Mother's room. I am very pleased with my mother's care and the licensed nurses are very knowledgeable. I'm frustrated with the sign-in process. It's lengthy, arduous and often for me does not work. I don't understand why I have to put my phone number in every single time I visit, once when I arrive I have to put my phone number in the machine and then upon leaving and signing out I have to again enter my phone number. It just seems like there are too many steps to the sign-in sign-up process. Very frustrating when you're in a hurry and you're only there to drop off a few supplies to a resident and you spend almost as much time signing in and signing out as you did actually being there.

I highly recommend this facility. Management and staff work together as a team, communicating daily in order to insure the utmost care. From working with marketing to select the ideal room, to choosing the doctor, pharmacy, and care plan, the client is priority. My aunt spent her last 5 months at Whispering Pines, and always received caring and respectful interactions. Reception, caregivers, kitchen staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and nursing are all 5-star! Management is in tune with all areas, and minor issues are addressedei mmediately. If your loved one cannot remain independent,, this facility offers the perfect solution!

It’s hard to find the exact words to truly explain how wonderful Whispering Pines is. From the lovely and smiling face of Beth at reception who is there to help and answer any questions you may have. To Beth Rance helping you get settled and decide on the best options for your loved one with your needs in mind. Along with Cara, who also just wants what’s best for everyone staying there. The whole team of employees working there makes your loved one feel like they are family and include you as well. It was always so heart warming walking the halls and being called by name by every worker I passed. I am completely blown away by the amount of love everyone put into their job and taking care of the residents. All of the aides and nurses were incredible with making sure that my dads needs were meteven though he was more than what they typically handle, they still went above and beyond. I have loved working and talking with everyone, but I have to say that Shantel (sorry if I’ve misspelled your name!) was my absolute favorite. I’ve never met anyone who has worked so hard to care for someone before. She treated my dad like he was her dad. She made sure that he was as safe as he could be and that he always had what he needed. One night, he had her in at least a dozen times right after another and she told me about it with a smile on her face. She never made me feel like he was a burden to her and you can tell that she truly enjoys her job. Dominica was also a huge support to me more times than once. My dad wasn’t an easy resident for them and it was a stressful time for me. There were multiple times that she had seen or listened to me crying and was a comforting voice when I needed it. It’s such a cozy and CLEAN facility. You can tell the residents love living there and are always wanting to chat. I enjoyed getting to know some of their routines and them recognizing me when I would stop in. The private rooms are absolutely gorgeous and just enough space to make it cozy. Whispering Pines should, without a doubt, be your top choice when choosing an assisted living facility for your loved one. You will be comforted in knowing that they will be cared for and treated well.

I recently toured Whispering Pines. We’ve been searching for the perfect place for our Mother. This facility is so beautiful and the staff go above and beyond for the residents and their families. But what really sold us was Mrs. Beth Rance. She was so informative and helpful. She took her time with us and she is so caring about our family as well as Whispering Pines. We witnessed her interactions with some residents and we were amazed at her loving nature as she helped anyone that needed help. We feel so very blessed and grateful for her help. We would highly recommend Whispering Pines and Mrs. Rance for any assistance needed in this difficult time of life.

Nice clean place. Everyone was very caring and loving to my Grandpa except a night nurse named Sheila. I just have to let others know that my 98 year old Grandpa was dying and he reached out his hand to her to try to make amends because they didn’t get along. (Even though everyone else loved him) and she refused to take his hand! My mother and brother witnessed this but were afraid to confront her worried about retaliation. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

This is an absolutely beautiful, gorgeous place!! I don't currently have family here but I would not hesitate to place my own grandparents/parents at Whispering Pines if they needed this level of care. I work with the staff frequently and they are the nicest group of people. I've seen them treat residents like their own family and there are always fun things going on (which I've had the pleasure of participating in). rating one would like to put zero. My experience with Whispering Pines was not a good one. The secretary was great. I did do volunteering at the center. I did the Monthly vital signs on all the patients and was questioned as why I was doing it as it had never been done even thou they were recorded as being done and not all the clients were confused. I was an RN but when I retired had gave my license back to the board of Nursing in Md had worked 40 yrs at the hospital there. I did helped out with different things but I could not do admissions as I was no longer licensed. They weren't really nice to the nurses and only given one chance makes me glad that I worked only in a hospital rather than assisted living or nursing home and they didn't turn you into the nursing board first time around. I liked working with the patients and I miss it but the strife that was caused to me and my family will never heal that easy. I believe a nurse or someone with medical know how should run the place not someone who isn't in tuned to patient and staff needs. Working Nurses all shifts and not listening to their needs is a crime as far as I am concerned.
