The care givers are compassionate and conscientious, always prompt, and very thorough with their responsibilities. Kelly Compton and her team of caregivers were very dependable and responsive to my mother's needs a few years ago. I was out of state and my Mother needed 24/7 care in her home. Griswold Home Care was the only service that could help me with her special needs. They responded with a great sense of urgency and compassion to every request over a three year period of service. Our family relied on Griswold to provide home health services for our Mom. They took the time to assure continuity of care at every turn. If a caregiver had a scheduling conflict, they always provided services. The caliber of caregivers is second to none; always willing to go above and beyond! In addition, the office staff were compassionate and accommodating in meeting the needs of our family.

Griswold does an excellent job in vetting and hiring their caregivers. These caregivers are on time, extremely competent, kind, patient, caring and professional. If there ever is a need for a substitute, the office puts great effort into finding a replacement. Whenever I've had to call in to the office—even after hours—I always get a prompt response. I knew Griswold had an excellent reputation, and their wonderful care of my mom proves it is well-deserved.

We are very happy with the care that Griswold is providing for our mother! Her caregiver, Cathy, is compassionate, reliable and flexible. In addition, Kelly, the care coordinator at Griswold has been so helpful! Not only does she help coordinate Mom's care, she is proactive as Mom's needs change. I highly recommend Griswold Home Care. My elderly mom needed assistance to stay in her own home, and was able to do so with a caregiver coming each day. We hit the lottery with caregivers Patti (full time) and Amanda (on Sundays). Patti was mom's main caregiver, with Mom for the past several (3) years before mom passed away recently. They both became like part of our family - the way they cared for mom was remarkable. Mom loved them. Patti and mom would play scrabble, do puzzles, go on outings, (and many doctor appointments) take walks, watch tv, and spend good days together. Patti would cook mom's favorite meals and make sure she stayed well fed and hydrated. As mom declined, Patti made adjustments and found appropriate activities to keep mom engaged. And of course helped her get showered, dressed... whatever was needed. She is very experienced and thought of ways to help mom I would never have thought of or even been aware of. I was consistently surprised, and I mean in the best way possible, with the level of professionalism and genuine thoughtfulness Patti and Amanda provided. It's difficult to see your parent decline physically and mentally not to mention stressful, but knowing mom was in good hands made the world of difference. I can't imagine what the last few years would have been like without Patti. And Amanda. The agency itself is very communicative with friendly caring people. They are very helpful and responsive. If you are looking for an agency to help you (I remember that stressful time), do yourself a favor and give them a call. You will not be sorry.

My mom, who has dementia, has been receiving care from Griswold for six years now, and thanks to the staff and her care givers she has been able to stay in her home. Almost universally her care givers have been proactive, considerate, conscientious, and caring. They communicate well with me and with one another. And they are alert for potential problems and share possible solutions. I couldn't ask for a better team. And I can't imagine what our lives would have been like without them for the past years. Thank you to her care team, current and past, and to the Griswold schedulers who keep it all running so smoothly.
