When our mother Matilda (Tillie) Rizzo reached 99 years of age, she needed to make one more change in her life. After living in her home for 76 years we moved mom to St. Margaret Hall Retirement Center in February of 2018. What a great decision that was in moving Mom to St. Margaret Hall. Mom strived with the excellent care of the staff at SMH for 3 years and 8 months. Our Mom died this passed November 6th. 2021 at the age of 103. As a family we would like to thank all the nurses & aides that took care of Mom with just loving and excellent care. Also, a big thanks to the Carmelite Sisters at SMH. Sister Catharine, Sister Irene, and the late Sister Clair who always made sure Mom was able to go to daily mass which she so enjoyed? Her Son, Joe Rizz

I would like to take a moment to express my experience at this wonderful place. My Mom came to SMH over 3 years ago and as we all know this was not and easy decision to make. What we as a family experienced , was compassion , dedication and love from all the staff. Even through Covid they had every possible measures taken to ensure safety and love. Mom died peacefully in their care at the age of 103. I would totally recommend this place to anyone's parents.

There is love here. This is the cleanest, kindest nursing home I have visited in my life. Love does make a difference, and I see it in the faces of the caregivers, the nuns and the patients. Love never fails.

Moving a loved one to assisted living is so hard, however St. Margaret Hall has been a wonderful environment for our mother. It is more than a place to live, it is a caring community of residents, staff and families. If your loved one needs compassionate care, this is the place.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They really care about and get to know the residents and their families. Plenty of activities, movies, and musical performances. Recently remodeled and updated the building. Very clean and well run.

Just from reading the reviews there was a person by the name of Geri that made a review that if I were in charge of HR I would have definitely reached out to this person to find out the concerns and issues that they had experienced at the facility HR representative for saint Margaret Hall did not reach out to address the issues or complaints that Geri has made. St Margret hall is a great clean place to work. I loved working for this company. Only complaint is low pay. Other then that I loved my co workers and the residents.

Great multilevel facility (rehabilitation, assisted living, intermediate and full nursing care) offering compassionate care from well-trained staff who go the extra mile for their patients and residents. St. Margaret Hall was my mother's home for over 6 years. She was well-served medically and through various allied health professionals (e.g., physical therapists) available onsite. St. Margaret Hall's motto is, "The difference is Love," and in our experience they truly lived up to that aspiration. They demonstrate respect for the individual (beginning with having almost entirely private rooms) and respect for that individual's values and needs, offering terrific social, recreational, and spiritual support. My mom was secure in knowing that she was a valued member of that community and she made many friends there, both residents and staff. From the administrators to the receptionists to the nursing aides, it is clear that staff view their work as a mission, not merely a "job." My mom's nurse told me once, "I told my husband, 'If we ever need to be in a place like this, we're coming here. People here are HAPPY!'"
