My experience during my stay there was bittersweet. Some of the nursing were great and seemed to care, but there is a percentage of them that could care less and that they hate coming to work. If you are needing any medical care at all,stay in the hospital, that's where I made my first mistake. The Therapy department is good, but I personally would never send a loved one to this establishment, the place is very clean, if they only cared for their patients half as much as they do the floors.

Even though I only got to work there for two weeks before my Mother got sick, I would have to say that it was the best facility I have worked for here in the Cincinnati area. The building is clean and the staff is awesome. The amount of team work blew my mind. Even the nurses didn't mind helping. Also management was understanding about the situation with my mother. I would definitely be reapplying once my mother gets well. Great place to work

I typically do not leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to this time. My dad came into their care after a severe case of Covid. He spent time in the hospital, then to Eastgate Springs for rehab. These people were very kind and accommodating to not only my father, but to us. The therapists were very thorough. The nurses Mindy and Amy gave my dad anything he desired. They went over and above!! My dad didn't have much of an appetite, so they tried anything that may sound good to him. The nurses worked with our family to get his heart monitor set up in different rooms to get a clear signal. Pricilla helped my mom and I with paperwork. She answered all questions with kindness. It's a great place there. Several of their nurses have been there a while. I could tell that the patients were happy. They would usually smile and say hello as we would pass along with other workers. Paige was very kind. She wheeled my dad to the car when leaving, making sure he was ok and comfortable. Thank you, Eastgate Spring. You helped my dad to be strong again to come back to us. Wendy Campbell.

There's a reason this facility is rated five stars by Medicare - it is an exceptional facility with a superb, caring staff. My mother is 92 with advanced Alzheimer's, and she required post-surgery for a broken hip. We began at the admissions process, where Kimberly focused on getting to know my mother's story / life history. Their information packet answered 95% of our questions regarding the move. The day after I get a call from the nutritionist, asking about Mom's favorite foods. that is followed by a call from the Nursing staff to verify Mom's prescription list (a list which once again Jewish Hospital botched, but that's another story and 0-star review on them). That call and attention to detail likely saved Mom from adverse drug reactions and who knows what else. Then comes a "Care Conference" with the PT / OT staff, nursing staff, social worker, and even Olivia the transportation director (who proactively arranged transport for Mom's follow-up appointment with the surgeon). Later I speak with Carrie who works with Medicare and other insurance companies on billing. I hope this review gives you the sense that at every turn in this process I have met with people who are first concerned with my mother's care and well-being, are very good at what they do, communicate clearly, answer all my questions, and have gone above and beyond to guide our family through this rehabilitation process. I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Recently I had to to make the decision to put two of my parents here. Anyone that has had to put a parent in a home knows how hard it can be mentally for you and that parent. But to put two in at the same time was heart breaking & emotional for all of us. I wanted them in the same room. They made this happen. I can't thank the staff in the office and the ones physically taking care of my parents enough. They made the transition as smooth as they could. I have been stopping in to see them a few times a week. I can't say this enough the staff is wonderful !! They are taking care of my parents absolutely great. I'm so glad I picked this home for them . If you are looking for a place for a love one. I'm telling you check this place out!!

My Dad has stayed here twice in the past four years and the experience has been outstanding. He was in the hospital both times for about 4 or 6 weeks and went to Eastgate Spring for nursing care and rehab for about two to three weeks each. His recovery both times was outstanding. His nursing care was top notch. I'm horrible at names but Abby and Megan are two people who made my Dad's stay and recovery amazing. There were many more who I don't know the names of and I wish I had gotten them (I'm horrible at names) because every single person took care of Dad with such courtesy and caring. What these people do is hard, and I'm doing it now at home for the past four years with my Dad. He's 95 and just came home today after this last experience. The fact that my sister and I had absolutely no question about where to go after his hospital stay is an indication of the trust we have in the people there. I appreciate all of you at Eastgate Springs, you treated my family with the best care and respect possible. Thank You

This place is amazing. My father has been there many times over the years for rehab. Recently he became a long term care patient and finally a hospice patient. Priscilla the social worker went above and beyond in the care of my father. Kimberly in admissions was great in making sure everything was always taken care of. The nursing staff and aids always treated my father with dignity and respect. I have no regrets in choosing to have my father here. If i could give more than 5 stars I would.

My father was hospitalized with pneumonia for a week. He needed to transition from the hospital to a rehab center in order to regain his strength. He was admitted to Eastgatespring for short term rehab. His goal is to get back home, living as independently as possible. Kim the intake liaison was so helpful answering my questions and calming my fears. The facility is clean and inviting. The care that he is receiving is amazing. The PT/OT team is phenomenal. He says they "kick his butt" which is a good thing. He has gotten great care from the nurses and STNAs as well. My dad reports that the food is good and that Eastgatesprings has the best and hottest defcaf coffee in town! They also allow us to bring his little dog in to visit which makes my dad so happy! So far, he has been there a week, making excellent progress and is looking forward to discharge in a few days. I highly recommend Eastgatespring and would use them to provide care for my dad if ever needed in the future.

My 86 year old father (Mr Fields) was taken here after his 2 week stay in the hospital for a serious illness. He was very weak and needed therapy to walk and build up his strength. He was not unhappy and felt like they truly cared about him. Almost every day he got quality physical therapy that was needed. The staff was so caring and made him feel like he was in his temporary "home". They set up his cell phone and taught him how to video call us so we could see his face since we were not allowed to visit him. They took him outside and let him get fresh air. He was kept clean and well cared for. He had lost so much weight from the bad tasting hospital food, and while here for 2 weeks he gained 10 pounds. He really liked the food. He has been treated by a wound specialist for 5 years for an open wound on his foot cause by neuropathy. Within one week of the nurses at Eastgatesprings taking really good care of his wound and bandaging it frequently, it has started healing very well. It gave our entire family peace of mind to know that he was happy, fed well, and truly taken care of. When we couldn't see him and visit him, we felt like they treated him like their own family. If he ever needs to go back to a nursing home we want him to go to Eastgatesprings.

I don't know where to begin! This place is AMAZING! They've taken care of my grandfather over the past few months and they've helped him to begin walking again. The nurses and general staff are always attentive to his needs and are always smiling. They make you and their residents feel welcome. My grandma has been admitted to Eastgatespring several times over the last year and the staff has taken such good care of her every visit. The latest visit, she returned to Eastgatespring to rehab her broken femur - the therapists were so friendly and kind. She LOVED getting her hair done at the salon and enjoyed all the activities available for the residents. We were able to bring the whole family in around Christmas time so we could celebrate with her and the staff was nothing but helpful and accommodating. During her time at Eastgatespring, there was never a concern about her level of care, like there were at other places. If we didn't get a chance to visit, we could call the nurses and get updates without question. The nurses and staff seem to really care for their patients and I'm glad my grandma and our family has had such a great experience with Eastgatespring!

I would recommend Eastgatespring to anyone in the area in need of care. I had a relative who was admitted to Eastgatespring following a surgery, which was complicated and required attentive nursing care and intense rehabilitation and my family and I couldn't have been happier with the care that we observed at Eastgatespring. The nurses and aides made sure my grandpa was comfortable and his medications were administered properly, which had been a problem other places. His physical therapists truly made a difference in his rehabilitation and we are convinced that it's because of them he was able to return home. I can't say enough good things about Eastgatespring and their staff. Thank you, Eastgatespring!
