My mom lives at The Glade and she really likes it. She has lived there for over 2 years. They have went above and beyond for her. They are always accommodating to your needs. The building is secure. If you are unable to go to the dinner, you can have your meals delivered to you. They have someone that cleans the apartments. My mom’s refrigerator went bad and they replaced it that day. My mom has made some very nice friends as well. It’s been really good for her. My dad was in Traditions prior to his passing, so that made it nice as well. I highly recommend.

Mom has been at the National Church Residences Heritage Assisted Living for almost a year. I visit often and try to go at different times of the day. The Heritage is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Mom has fallen several times and the nurses and aides have helped her recover from each fall. Transitioning from our home to assisted living wasn't easy for Mom, but the the staff has made every effort to help her feel welcomed and to help her settle in.

Our brother who has dementia lived in your independent living facility 8 mos. He had a great experience. Very nice apartments in a quiet area. The neighbors and the kitchen staff were very helpful.thanks.

The Glades is a beautiful, well-maintained independent living facility. My father still lives there after my mother passed, and he’s in great hands. The staff are attentive, compassionate, and always willing to help—even with things like TV remotes or checking on him if he missed dinner. Truly above and beyond, it is a real community. I rest easier knowing he’s there.

My mother has been a resident of the Traditions Campus , National Church Residencies (NCR), Chillicothe Ohio since 2019. She has utilzed most all the services provided by NCR and Traditions including inependent living, assisted living, skilled nursing rehabilitation, rehabilitation therapy, skilled home health care and also palliative care. In my mother's words " I really like it here and I like the people". Traditions is wonderful culture and the staff are very person centered and caring at all levels of care. Always willing to listen and work with our family to meet mom's care needs. We are appreciative Kyle

I just moved my father into the Independent Living and we are very happy with the apartment and facilities as a whole. The facilities are well kept inside and outside. The staff are kind, considerate, and very helpful. My father had lived in his home for nearly 60 years so this was a big life change for him and taking into consideration everything about the campus and the services available to him, the experience has been much better than anticipated and the transition has went smoothly. Thank you to all the staff we've had the pleasure to meet.

My parents moved to the Glade 3 years ago. They chose to live in a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment. They always felt safe, cared for, and happy to be there. They made friends and found a real sense of community! The staff is amazing and very helpful! My dad’s health went downhill and after a hospital stay was moved to the Shaffer building for skilled nursing care until his passing. The nurses and the aids were very kind and concerned. The food there was not great. We were not a fan of shared rooms and would have preferred private accommodations. Again the best part of the his stay at Honey Creek was the people! Everyone worked hard to meet my dad’s needs and care for us too. My mom continues to live in her beautiful apartment and has a great group of friends! The staff continues to work hard at making life at The Glade good for their residents. We think that we made a great choice when looking for independent living in Chillicothe, Ohio.

I was quite pleased how the transition was as our family moved our family member from the Glades to The Heritage. The nurses, the aids and staff was very helpful, caring and curtious. It can be an emotional roller coaster as you go through the decision and steps to do whats best for your loved one. In our case the staff at the Hertiage made my family and our loved one experience very pleasant and reassuring that our loved one will be safe and well care for.

Our Mom has been at Traditions in Chillicothe for several years now and has enjoyed it. She was in independent living first and got along great. Enjoyed the people and the food and activities. She got cancer and had to go to rehab and then we moved her to assisted living where she is now. The nurses and aides there are so kind and sweet to her and so very helpful. So happy to have her in a place that cares!!!

Moving into The Glade had been a great decision for my mother. She has daily interaction with others and I always know she is safe.
April 2025
We began talking with Jeremy Smith about moving my parents into an independent living apartment around the time my mother’s health began a rapid decline. She passed away a few weeks later, but we proceeded with moving my father into a two bedroom/one bathroom apartment and we couldn’t be more pleased with this decision! He receives two warm, fresh meals a day, he has someone clean his apartment regularly. He attends church, bible study, bingo, movie day, etc.—all activities provided on-site to the residents free of charge. The Concierge picks up prescriptions and grabs groceries or whatever he needs. And if (or when) his health begins to decline, the assisted living building is just next door. The long-term care facility is beside that. So no matter what, he’s set, which comes as a huge relief to me and my family. Everyone there is so nice and accommodating. Even my stubborn Dad said “Me and your Mom should have come here years ago.” Thank you for caring for my loved one so well. Beth (Stevens) Smallwood
