The facility is very nice and spacious. We like most everything about it, but the rooms in the memory care area are rather small, and don't really have a homey feel to them. They're just a square room with an entry hallway where the bathroom is. There wouldn't be any room for her loveseat, her little table and chairs, or mini-fridge after putting her single bed in the room. We could probably get her dresser and her lift-chair and a small table in there, but that's all I think. That was pretty much the only real negative thing. The bathroom is a good size though.

When we decided it was time for Mom to move into assisted living my sister and I were scared, sad and didn't know where to start. We went to a few places and as soon as we walked into Brooklyn Pointe and met the director Danielle I felt at ease immediately. Danielle understood everything we were going through and even came to visit Mom at her apartment prior to moving in to answer any questions or fears we had. Danielle is one of the kindest people I have ever met. As this is new for my sister and I, we have questions (a lot of them and usually 3 times a week, lol) Danielle always responds almost immediately and and goes above and beyond! She is amazing as well as all the staff. Always a smile, always a hello always willing to help, always kind. Danielle had said when we first met that she wanted to bring back Mom's smile, not only did she do that she brought back mine too. Thank you Brooklyn Pointe

When my Mother needed more help than our family could provide, we moved her to Brooklyn Pointe. From the beginning, we were impressed with the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the building, the quality of care provided by the nursing staff and aides, and the overall feel of being in a quality home. My Mother passed away at this facility, and we could not ask for more care and compassion than we received from the staff.

Memory care is a demanding field, and I have never seen a staff as hardworking or as dedicated to their residents than those at Brooklyn Pointe. I have had great exchanges with everyone: reception, administration, food service, housekeeping, maintenance, aides, enrichment planners, etc., and everyone maintains a positive attitude. From day one, I have felt that my mother and father were in safe, capable hands and that we were a welcome part of their community. I can't recommend Brooklyn Pointe enough. We lost our Father in November, he spent the last 3 years of his life at Brooklyn Pointe. At the Eulogy, I mentioned that while at Brooklyn Pointe, he was safe, well taken care of, and happy. Losing somebody to Dementia is horrible, but it's comforting to know they're in good hands.

I was privileged to attend a holiday gathering arranged by Lillian Morris and it warmed my heart how it delighted the residence especially when we went around with Santa. I also was surprised at the wonderful parade that Lillian organized when visiting was restricted during the pandemic. I know that Lillian loves her job and it shows through all the wonderful things she does year-round and also and how her residents love her.

I love coming into Brooklyn Pointe. Every time is like a different experience. Youre always greeted when you walk through the door, generally by staff but even from the residents who live there! Its such a beautiful facility from the inside out. Definitely different from other facilities Ive been too. Between having a gorgeous area for the residents to lounge and relax to rooms that they live in each day. It makes you feel like youre just at home. They have such a wonderful activities department. So engaged and in tuned from the residents to always have something to look forward too. This facility is one of a kind from the staff to the residents who live there!

My mother has been here since the day they opened. The staff is well trained and educated. The people are all very kind and loving. They really try to get to know residents and provide meaningful activities for them. My mom is on the memory care for ALZ. They have worked so hard to keep families connected to their loved ones. I do not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone!
