My mother in law was a resident in the memory unit for approximately 13 month before her passing. I want to say that she received outstanding care from day one. The staff on her unit were fabulous. They understood her and offered any assistance, at any time, especially Crystal( I believe that’s correct), she had wings hidden under her uniform. The entire staff and administrative staff especially Amanda, made us feel at ease and welcome from the start. I never called with a question or a comment that wasn’t addressed immediately. If I am ever in need of this type of facility I would request The Inn at Walker Mill! Kudos to the facility for being the only ECF in the Mahoning Valley, to my knowledge, that has yet to report a positive COVID-19 case,a task that would be considered Herculean!

My dad lived here for 2 years until he suddenly passed away. He was happy there, but more importantly my brother and I were so happy with the care he received. Amanda and her staff are amazing, so kind, sweet and caring. The facility is very clean. He never wanted for anything. Thank you all for the care you gave him.

My dad lives in The Inn at Walker Mill. It's a beautiful community and it was built in 2008. Everybody seems friendly and pleasant there, and the residents seem grateful. When I go there to visit strangers ask me how I'm doing and things like that, and the staff is always on top of everything. They have all kinds of activities, and they have so many things going on up there that it's unbelievable. The food is excellent. When I visit I smell the food, but I don't hang around because then I'd get hungry. Their facilities are excellent, they have exercises, places for seniors to read books, TV rooms, and so on. There's a free phone in your room, it's a big room with your own shower, and a bathroom and everything. My dad is happy. The room is big. It's like an efficiency apartment and everything is clean inside and out. The elderly people greet me when I come in. They also have a doctor and he's a saint.
