As an outside service member, I have spent much time caring for residents at Windsor Heights. The care that is provided by their staff is unmatched! From management, to nursing care, dietary, and activities departments, I find Windsor Heights to be very well ran. I am so confident in the individualized care provided to their residents that I have even referred patients to them. Their activities department provides a variety of engaging activities and outings to keep their residents active and entertained, even after hours and on the weekend. Would highly recommend Windsor Heights!

My husband was there for three weeks and a respite situation. Friends visited him. The feedback I got from them and from him was good with one exception. He was in a lobby area when they wheeled out a gurney with a body on it. He emailed me immediately about it, and when other people asked to what it was like later, he responded that it is a place where people go to die.

My mom is a current resident at Windsor Heights and she receives wonderful care. It is a fabulous facility for individuals with chronic neurological disorders that need round the clock care. The staff truly cares about their patients. In particular, Nyeeda is the most passionate. She works at the bedside and behind the scenes as a nurse care manager. I am thankful for the care they provide for my mother.

Director made acceptance of my mom very easy. She worked with hospital workers behind the scenes very well. Aides have been phenomenal with both my mom and my aunt...Nurses are good regarding keeping you updated with medical events and requesting permission for new treatment. Specialist doctors should be monitored for complete care service and what they charge medicare/medicaid. My family paid out of pocket for service not complete by the podiatrist. Kitchen, housekeeping and recreation personnel all show care and concern for residents. I enjoy the small number of residents. Males it seem more like a community. I can't wait to see the beautiful grounds in spring and summer.

Windsor specializes in memory care and are equipped for the unique care needs that comes with dementia. All who interact with their Residents are specifically trained to do so. So many other care models have all different care levels like regular AL or skilled nursing on top of a memory care unit- and the memory care units fall short! Don't pick a place that isn't a specialized community for your loved one with a specialized condition. I am thankful that Windsor is here for the Beachwood community.

Both my grandparents lived here for a few years. The first time I flew to Cleveland to visit, Im going to be honest, I was really nervous. The idea of your grandparents in a home can always make one nervous with all the horror stories. Yet the second I walked in you could just feel the love in the building. Windsor Heights staff are attentive and caring to all the residents, they do really fun activities and go on field trips, and there is just an overall feeling of community. The staff called my grandparents Ma Pa, did my grandmothers nails and hair so she always looked fabulous, and were just all-around great people to them. Both my grandparents have now passed but I am so happy they were well taken care of in their last years.

This is a very clean community with caring and attentive staff. The rooms are spacious though the community is small and feels like home. There are many small common areas for you to visit with your loved one. There are two nice secured outdoor spaces to walk or enjoy the raised garden beds without noise from the main street traffic. This community does not feel clinical and the staff is very knowledgeable about dementia care.

I had a nice experience with my tour of this community. Everyone was friendly, and kind. The community looked nice, and everything appeared to be well maintained. The staff was cordial, and they answered my questions. Everything went well, but I did find another community that met my love one needs better.

My wife has been a resident for 7 months. My daughter is an occupational therapist. We both agree the care my wife is receiving is superb. The staff, consisting of nursing, care takers, activities, and food services, is attentive, and respectful to the residents and their families. Recently my wife developed a potentially serious condition which was recognized by the nurses, tested, reviewed, diagnosed, and medical treatment administered within 12 hours. Subsequently, I was called daily with the results of her blood tests. Even after 4 and a half years of care taking on my part, it would have taken me several days to recognize the symptoms and taken action. The facility is less than a mile from the hospital, certainly another consideration in our decision. Activities are abundant, including arts and crafts, music, and scenic van rides (with periodic trips to Mitchell's Ice Cream.).[Removed], the administrator, uses a "hands on" approach working shoulder to shoulder with the staff. The food is varied and delicious. Special diets are accommodated. Perhaps most importantly, my wife's dignity and respect is being maintained. I do not hesitate recommending Windsor Heights.
