It is so hard to make the decision to have your Mom go to a Memory Care because she can't live alone any longer. We put mom in a local Memory Care and we just were not happy about the care she was receiving. I found Carmen's website for White Orchid and after meeting her for the first time, we knew that this was the place for mom. She takes such good care of her and she does everything with LOVE. As a family we were praying for a better solution and we thoroughly believe that God sent her to us. We can rest easy knowing that she is in good hands. Carmen is our Angel!

Carmen I wanted to write to you to express how much I appreciate the care that you have been providing these past 2 years in taking care of my 86 year old mother at your White Orchid Adult Care Home. I spent months going from one Senior Care Facility to another trying to find the right place for her. I was torn because every location I went to, or every location that she had stayed during her many rehabilitation stays after her hospital releases, I knew she would hate and would be unhappy and feel alone. I saw the residents at these locations being "taken care of" but I saw the loneliness as they sat in their rooms, the same look she had on her face so many times during her many stays at these facilities. I was grateful for their help and care but I knew these large locations were not the place for her. I knew this was not the road I could go down and be able to live with myself for taking her to a place she would be miserable and unhappy in. I spent days and nights awake, worrying how I would be able to continue to care for her and still be there to help my daughters with their young children. After months of searching and worrying I was given your name and location from a family friend. I took a chance and called you hoping that this would be the right place for my mother. I met with you and told you she could be difficult at times but you understood my dilemma and took her in. I cannot express my gratitude to you and your team for the wonderful care she receives. Thanks to your care and kindness, she is happy, and doing well. The way you have taken care of her is beyond anything I could have hoped for. I have been able to be there for my daughters and have the time to enjoy my grandsons. I would not have been able to do that without your help. You are so important to my mother but also you are so special to our family. I am so thankful that you have taken my mother into your care at your White Orchid Adult Care Home. The kindness and compassion you have shown her is amazing. She truly is happy in your care and feels she is part of a family. Carmen you are a dedicated caregiver. I am calling them my angels! My father-in-law was a resident there for 3 years. We left every year for 4 months in Florida for winter. I could have never done it without their impeccable and professional care. I would recommend this place any time, they handle any type of situation very professionally. Just a small example- they provided transportation for the flu vaccines for our dad
