Very pleasant young lady at the check-in desk. Check-in is much less hassle now than previously. Driveways and parking areas need a LOT of work! It's challenging for a younger person, I can't imagine it's easy for residents, especially at night.

Our Mom loves living here; she has her own apartment, loves the chef meals, the endless programs, transportation and in house hair salon! I work as a social worker with seniors and can honestly say that this place is a dream. Love the set up that if there ever is a need for a higher level of care it's right there. Thank you for all of your care.

My aunt has lived at The Amberleigh for more than 2 years. The staff has been incredible thru these tough times. My aunt is enjoying her life now and has become vibrant compared to when she was at home by herself. I cant say enough thank yous for all the staff has done for her.

Our clients have had a positive experience with The Amberleigh. The food is good (I can confirm) and the apartments are spacious and well kept. The 3 levels of care there are a plus for care planning as well.

In April of 2019 my mother and father relocated from the Southern tier to Western New York having spent their entire lives in the same small community… Having shared their lives together there first as high school sweethearts and then as a married couple for over 62 years. My father succumbed to the ravages of Alzheimers disease and when my mother could no longer care for him, the tough decision had to be made. My mother, for the first time in her life had to become the decision-maker. Having worked as a secretary since she was 17, she always relied on my dad to take care of everything on the homefront. My dad was placed in a wonderful residential assisted living home with memory care and mom and I started the arduous task of cleaning out 62 years of cherished and prized possessions not all of which found a home and had to ultimately be discarded. Her beloved home was sold, as was the family property. Just as the sales were finalized, we lost my dad. Myriads of paperwork later, we finalized all of those terrible things that you hear about but cannot understand until you are in the midst of it. Unable to stay at my home alone on those rare occasions when I had to be out of town, we found respite at the Amberleigh. We spoke with Elaine and she, with great care and compassion, helped us find a place for mom to stay in one of the independent apartments while I was gone. As days went on, my mother and I both realized that living with me was not the best situation for her for a variety of reasons… Stairs being one of them ha ha ha ha! And we began the process of looking into moving my mom into an apartment in the Independent living section at the Amberleigh. It was the only place she would consider going. From the first time she had her short term stay there until she moved there permanently, there was a comfort level not only with the surroundings but with the people, as well. At ripe old age of 85, my mother has never in her life lived on her own. I cannot express my gratitude and sincere appreciation to every single person involved in the Amberleigh admission process and day to day operations. Everything that we were looking for in an independent living situation is offered there and done so with professionalism, compassion and a smile. The Amberleigh offers the best of all worlds and I will be forever grateful that we stumbled upon this wonderful place so many months ago. Mom continues to flourish and become accustomed to her new surroundings and new friends. I would highly recommend that anyone in this situation strongly consider life at the Amberleigh. I have not specifically mentioned individually, all of the wonderful people that have helped my mom and me through this transition. I would be fearful that I would leave someone deserving recognition out. Suffice to say that everyone there, every single person we have come in contact with has been incredible.

We had looked at Amberleigh a few years ago and my father was not ready to make the move. We decided to go back and take another tour. It started out on a good note and ended even better!! The building is beautiful with a fresh face, new décor and carpeting. The atrium area is great. So much going on and lots of residents laughing and seem very happy. Elaine gave a fantastic and informative tour. She answered every question my father had. As we were on the tour, all of the residents stopped and said hello stating how much they like living there. We stayed for lunch and it was very good. They staff is A++! Everyone had a smile and stopped to greet us. They really had a way of making us feel at home. You can see how the staff interacts with the residents and it was very endearing to watch. The director Jon had a great talk with my father and his warmth added into our decision. The calendar was packed with many different things so he can take part in what he chooses to. By the end, my father was sold! Not just on the building, the great apartment size or the staff the whole atmosphere. We are thrilled that he moved in and things are going exactly as we thought... AMAZING!!!!!

It has been my great pleasure to move my Dad into The Amberleigh. He has been there since November. We immediately were introduced to the Executive Director who has a keen interest in my father. The team at The Amberleigh is very responsive, attentive to his needs. The meals are very good! I would recommend to everyone!

My elderly parents have lived at Amberleigh for over four years, now. It is a top-notch facility for independant adult living. The apartments are spacious. The staff is VERY attentive. My first experience at Amberleigh was on the day my parents moved in. I arrived at the front desk, explained that my parents had moved in only hours earlier and advised the young lady that Id be eating dinner with my folks in the lovely dining room. She immediately picked up the phone, dialed the kitchen, and all she said, in a very proper voice was, Please advise the chef that the Wilsons will be having a third for dinner this evening.......At that moment, I knew I had chosen the right place for mom and dad. I live in Florida, yet I can call Amberleigh day or night and know that the staff will instantly solve any problem I might have, large or small. Theyre very professional, yet gracious. They cant do enough. The dining room is elegantly decorated. The wait staff is made up of college students, dressed in black, with white shirts or blouses. Very professional, very polite and quick to hop to it in meeting the diners needs.Everything about Amberliegh is top drawer and elegant. My parents and I could not be happier. It aint cheap to live there, but you get a real bang for your buck. Its worth every nickle.
