My father has been a resident now for just over two months. The staff has been extremely caring and compassionate. I can't say enough good things about them. The facility is immaculate and welcoming. The dining always has multiple delicious options. There are plenty of activities....my father really likes the therapy dog visits.

My sister and I are in the process of searching for a place for our mother. Of all the facilities we visited we felt most comfortable and reassured with the Bristol of Westbury. Teresa, who spent more than an hour with us, represented the Bristol perfectly. The level of service And compassion we witnessed was amazing. The decor, the amenities, and the cleanliness of the facility was at a very high standard. We thank you for the amount of detailed information provided to us. This has made a difficult decision that much Easier for us to make

Director Kim Bent is an outstanding individual who truly cares about her clients. Mom was 85 pounds when she entered The Bristal Westbury eleven months ago and was given a diagnosis by the doctors as “Failure to Thrive.” Today she is 112 pounds. Needless to say the food is appetizing and great, the place immaculate and the majority of the staff caring and conscientious. Nurse Robert is a wonderful human being. Michelle, an assistant, awesome. She forces mom in a loving way to eat something at least, even desert, at dinner. Concierge staff Lamar and Kayden are the sweetest people you could ever meet, I wish I could adopt them. It has by no means been an easy year for me or for mom but the Bristal Staff has been very supportive. Ms. Bent supports the client and the family and always listens to any concerns expressed. Whenever I visit I see people being well cared for and supported. There is a lot of love to go around. The activities are great. Mom loves the morning exercises. I have peace of mind knowing that the staff will let me know everything that happens good and not so good.

My parents have been residents of the Bristal at Westbury for almost 10 months. The facility is well maintained, the food is good considering how many residents they cook for. The staff has been very compassionate to my parents. The Wellnness Team, Aides, Environmental Team, Dining Room Staff and Management make this a safe place for my Mom & Dad.The Front Desk Team is always on the ball. THANK YOU! Mike Levine

My mother has been at the Bristal for over three years now. The place is immaculate clean. However false promises are made and very rarely followed through. Events are planned and it looks great on paper but theyre mostly always canceled. There is little communication between the Bristal and the family. Im extremely disappointed in how they handle things in general and during covid.

My Mom has been living at the Bristal in Westbury for four years now. She had previously been in another assisted living facility. The care that she receives at the Bristal in Westbury is outstanding, from Kim the Director to Doris, my Moms nurse. They are both accessible and always help when my Mom needs it. The front desk staff, Gillian, O.C., Lillian and Joe are so professional and also address whatever my Mom needs help with. She loves the food and the activities that are available each and every day. Under the COVID restrictions they are very careful to make sure that all of the residents are well cared for and are taking all of the precautions. I am thankful to have found the Bristal for my Mom as they take such good care of her.

Seems like a great place. I have to make an application!!!! I would love to work there
August 2020
My mom had lived at the Bristal Westbury for approximately 1 year. First, let me say the place is beautiful and immaculately clean. The food is excellent and she very much enjoyed every meal. The staff (from front desk, dining room, housekeeping and aides) were all wonderful, friendly, caring and kind. The Wellness staff was also top notch. However, my advice is to get everything in writing when signing the initial contract. We were told by a number of people in the executive staff (senior and junior) TIME AND TIME AGAIN that they would be able to provide my mom with certain services that she needed. It turned out they could not legally provide these services and we had to move her to another facility that had an Enhanced Care License. After we made arrangements to transfer her, it was brought to our attention that there was another Bristal who had that license. Had we known, we would have moved her there. It would have saved us much angst and heartache if the people who run the Bristal would get their their act together and their information correct.

I am so very thankful for the way the Bristol has taken care of my grandma. They are all so caring towards her. They make sure she is comfortable and treat her with so much respect. Every time I have visited, the place is immaculately clean and always welcoming. There are many activities that she can join in (if she chooses to). They take such good care of her. It is places like the Bristol that make the idea of getting older a little less scary. Every person should be treated with dignity and love, the Bristol makes sure to do just that. Thank you to all of the staff members who are part of blessing my Grandmas life. My family is able to breathe a sigh of relief because of people like you!

By far the best place for your loved ones. My aunt was treated great and couldnt get enough of the food. Staff is very caring and professional.
October 2019
My mother has lived at The Bristal in Westbury for almost 2 years. This is her second assisted living experience and is by far superior to her previous one, on many levels. It is truly a community, an extension of family, and her home. Everybody who works there is kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring. My mother felt welcomed immediately. She enjoys the trips they take, her arts and crafts, the friendships she has cultivated and she loves the food. My mom is very social and enjoys her conversations with the employees as well as the other residents. It comforts me knowing that she is happy, well cared for, and safe.

My mom has been living at the Bristal for over two years. She moved from another facility that had become extremely expensive. What first attracted us was everything newly renovated. Bright and comfortable with music streaming in the hallways. Then, sampling the food was another positive factor-many choices and tasty. They also have many activities to offer. The wait staff and housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. Bob, who works there always seems to go out of his way to make sure everyone is happy. I live an hour away and it's nice to know that my mom is being well taken care of!
September 2019
My mom has been a resident since May 2019 and has been thriving. They have tons of activities of which she has been a participant (she especially enjoys the concert trips and visits to The Dollar Tree). The scheduled mealtimes is such a plus as I don't have to worry about her attempting to cook on her on own and ensures she'll definitely eat 3x a day. The staff are so warm, welcoming and helpful. They regularly call residents by name and check on them daily. From the front desk, to the custodial and administrative teams, I couldn't be happier. We were longtime residents of Westbury, so it's great mom can stay in the community. I was looking at another facility prior to the move and I'm so glad I went with the Bristal at Westbury.
September 2019
My mother moved to the Bristol 8 months ago and we couldn't be happier with this decision. The staff is not only attentive and supportive, but they go out of their way to do little things to make the residents feel at home. My mother is thriving, eating foods she never ate before, and trying new activities. This has been an amazing experience!!

My mom has been living at the Westbury location for two years. Her studio apartment is lovely. The staff she interacts with daily always treat her with dignity and concern. The food is always delicious. And let's not forget BINGO!

We have had a family member living here for a while. We have always found the dining room staff patient and accommodating. Rob runs a tight ship with room for humor and kindness.

I live in Florida and recently visited with my sister at The Bristal in Westbury, NY. Foremost, I thank management for letting me stay at my sister's apartment for 3 days. I lived and experienced the Bristal living. This is a posh of an ALF, classy, spacious, clean. Management and staff are all professionals in the manner of dressing, demeanor, and work. Residents appear well cared for. I must say my sister's living needs are met and she is kept busy, enjoying the many daily activities. Meals meet high standards of health and palatability. I thank Bristal management and staff for taking an excellent care of my sister. Adrian

October 2014
Well ill give it a try again. I looked at the Bristal, Westbury, some 3 years ago, and took another place as it was closer to where my daughter lives. It was a mistake, I should have taken the Bristal at that time, cause I just love it here. I have the opportunity to take part in so many activities and spend little time in my room, except to work on my computer, which I still have to totally learn how to use or go meet one of my new friends. Ive learned how to play Kings in the Corner and I play bingo every day. The staff here is wonderful. even the officers, they are always here to answer any questions. The people at the desk go out of their way to help. I could go on and on.. g-d willing I will spend the rest of my days here.
