I LOVED IT THERE BUT DO TO DECLINING HEALTH I HAD TO MOVE WITH SOMEONE AROUND ME 24/7. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU PAY, IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FACILITY AND THE STAFF IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST, RESIDENTS ARE FRIENDLY, LOTS TO DO AND I WAS ABLE TO BRING MY 2 CATS.

My mother moved here recently and everyone has been amazing. Janine (the community manager) and Sasha (the event coordinator) have gone above and beyond to make mother feel welcome. Roman and Nelson from maintenance have been very kind and helpful as well. All of the residents that have met my mother have been extremely kind and welcomed my mother with open arms. There is an extraordinary amount of activities offered and much to do at this community. It is well maintained and is a great place overall!

My husband and I were relieved and happy to find a place where I could use the indoor pool, even during the height of the pandemic. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building, common area furniture, and our appliances are not designed as we would have preferred, but the fact that we have indoor exercise classes and a lovely pool, a reasonable distance from our family, helped in the decision to move here.

I searched from Saratoga Springs, NY to NYC, NJ, and DC and concluded that Summit at Mill Hill had the most for the cost. The 2 bedroom apartment is larger than others I have seen and it has been just enough space for all of my stuff. I have a cat as do others and some folks have dogs. The small breakfast is great every day. The staff are wonderful and they take care of me even when I ask for special stuff. The heated indoor pool with hot tub and sauna are great with the aquatic aerobics programs. There is a large theatre for movies and rooms for art, games and a library. They bring in doctors, PT, OT and ST. We have a Wednesday happy hour and a Saturday Night Live party among many other activities. The van service takes us shopping and to medical appointments. I don't think you could find anyplace better on the East Coast!

My husband and I are very happy here. We have made alot of good friends. We love the social aspect. It is refreshing especially during these difficult world times. The staff makes sure we are safe.

Our experience at the Mill Hill Summit in Slingerlands, New York has been positive in every way imaginable. Beginning with Joan, the facility manager, every member of the staff is clearly dedicated to serving residents in a personable and respectful manner. They have all gone over and above any expectations we could have ever anticipated to make our residence a truly enjoyable, problem free experience. Mill Hill provides activities galore that are designed to engage a multitude of interests. Listing them with a description of how the staff makes them occur in a smooth, simple, and effective manner would take multiple pages. Any of the minor occasional problems are solved in a swift manner so as to make it all look effortless. To begin with, there is an excellent daily Continental Breakfast, weekly movies in a spacious on site theater, day trips, guest speakers, multiple exercise opportunities, a Golf Simulator and a Swimming Pool. Management and staff make extensive un-pressured efforts to encourage each guest to take advantage of these many activities, and more. Beyond the multitude of services provided by the staff is the friendly attitude of all the residents who plan, conduct and participate in special activities on a daily/weekly basis … there are far to many to list but there is no reason to be inactive at the Summit. The apartments, meeting rooms, Great Room, Tavern and Libraries housed in the development are spacious and designed perfectly for seniors who are downsizing or simply looking to live in a community where they are welcome, respected and courteously served. We are fortunate to have found and leased at the Summit at Mill Hill and recommend it with 5 +++ stars.

Just a bit too pricey...I didn't like the carpet.. It was the burback kind that pulls on everything The fake wood look linoleum In the kitchen and the living room was cheesy.

Moves are always difficult. However, I have never had the assistance and help that the entire staff provided. Then, after moving in, the entire management staff cannot be more friendly and receptive. The community is beautiful. This move, and at this time in my life has exceeded my expectations 10X over. Love it Here!!

It's a lovely building, there's a pool, sauna and hot tub. Also a tavern, library, chapel and theater. The best part is the people who work here and the residents!
