Our mom had a fall in her home and we decided it was time she moved out of her home. She's 92 and in good health but needed some care and overcite. She's been at Elderwood for just over 8 months and we love this place, but more importantly she likes the place too. They are very attentive to her needs, everyone is friendly and personable. They have a lot of different and fun daily activities that keep the residents active and engaged. I'm not sure how many words I get, but we really are pleased we found Elderwood and know our moms in a great place.

They took care of my grandma for 6 years, all the way up to her last breath. I highly recommend this place, these workers care and the nursing staff is phenomenal. My grandma had Alzheimers and they knew exactly how to care for her. My grandma was always laughing and joking around with the staff.

My mom has been at Elderwood - Greece for five years. From the beginning, the staff welcomed her with open arms and showed her such love and caring. Over her time there, mom has suffered some challenges with her anxiety but Erica, Jill, Hunter, Bonnie and the incredible team there always found a way to pull her out of it.Everyone, from the Chef to the receptionist, to the Director, they all take an interest in mom, sometimes calling me to let me know when she needs a pick-me-up. We couldnt be happier with our choice to have mom stay at Elderwood-Greece, where activities, field trips (non-Covid days) and everyday support fill her days! Ray Fradella

Elderwood Village of Greece Assisted Living I give a huge Thank You for the care of my Mom ❤ She moved to Rochester in Dec of 2018 and 2 yrs to the date of 2020. I cant say enough to Erica Rosa, Jill Bassett, Shauna Fitzgibbon Tanya Surowy and many other staff members . Ive made beautiful friendships with them! Looking for a higher level of care for loved one can become a very stressful time. When researching many facilities I found that there were a lot of places I would not place my brother, thats until I found Elderwood Village at Greece. As soon as I entered the building I knew this is where I wanted him to be. I have never seen such a caring group of people, the greeters at the door, aids, maintenance workers, cafeteria staff and management truly put the residents and their families first. Believe me when I say, my brother was not the easiest resident, but they were always there for him. In sadness, my brother did eventually pass on, but the impact of their kindness didnt, which my family will never forget. I highly recommend Elderwood Village of Greece, you wont be disappointed.

My mother was a resident for about 6 months until it was necessary for her to transition to a nursing home. During that time the staff always went above and beyond helping and caring for mom with all her needs. The facility is wonderful and any staff I dealt with were always respectful and professional. I would absolutely recommend Elderwood Village at Greece.

The transition to an assisted living facility for a loved one is quite difficult for all involved.The administrative team at Elderwood has gone above and beyond in making the process less daunting. They made a quite challenging situation manageable.I feel my loved one is in a safe and caring environment. My dad has had nothing but compliments about all the day to day staff. Care and precautions are being taken during the Covid crisis.The grounds are nice and the new ownership is in the process of making some facility upgrades.

I had such a nice visit at Elderwood today meeting with Bridget Keenan and Debbie Vandawall OConnell. This is a very nice home for the elderly;As the people were engaging in conversation and activities in Millen common living area. There is a very nice dining area with a touch of how many Homie elegance. One gets the feeling of a close knit staff, which extends to their residence comfort and contentment The staff was all very friendly with smiles, and a professional warmth. I had a nice tour and discussed activities and events which residents are encouraged to participate in whenever possible. A caring effort is put forth into making this a comfortable,safe and happy living environment for our loved ones to reside. Very nice indeed!

The best assisted living community in Rochester! My Grandmother has lived here for over 5 years and I could not ask for better people taking care of her! Everyone is extremely friendly and they take care of the residents like they are their own family members. There is a nurse that manages all of her medications and we never have problems. Grandma has actually been able to decrease some of the medications because they got her back to a healthy state. We moved her in because My Grandfather had passed away and she was lonely at home and then had a stroke and needed help, I don't have much family up in Rochester so this was the perfect place for her! She has made so many friends, the activities are wonderful, the food Is great and it is always clean and bright! I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for assisted living for a friend or family member. The price is great they have option to add on services if they are needed. We love Brookdale West Side!
