Absolutely beautiful. Moderately expensive. Fees are ridiculous and astronomical. I could rent an apartment in NYC for 650 sq ft for the rent here. But, close to shopping etc Give and take

Great living conditions for the retired beautiful apartments with a balcony some with a view of the courtyard some with the view of Albany definitely worth a family to check out if they're looking for living space for their loved one

Snow and ice removal I have a 95 year old WWII Vet living at the Summit Eastwyck. Today is Feb 23 10:AM Walks and driveways are solid ice. No emergency salt in foyer. There are also others with disabilities and mobility issues that rely on this as do emergency vehicles. Is this not inspected by management??? Very poor!!! Henric Post

No emergency salt, no sand, no snow shovel. This should be regularly inspected before each weekend. There are many residents with serious mobility issues. Every year I bring this up. I have parents living at Eastwych. Their safety in the winter is a priority. This evening I saw a tenant shoveling in front of building #1. Is this necessary?

I think they are beautiful apartments but the rent is way out of my budget.

So great for those "of a certain age". Lovely grounds very safe and convenient to shops and restaurants.

My 91 year old grandmother lives here. I was expecting more of a nursing home vibe but it's a really nice condo type complex. There's a lot of green space, she's able to have plants and a hummingbird feeder out in summer which we all enjoy.

If youre someone who has a hard time living with neighbors and in an apartment complex - then you wont enjoy it in any complex. This place is wonderful for seniors who may eventually want some security and safety features but live independently. Super convenient to I90 and 787 as well. My parents moved here in January - leaving their 2400+ sq foot home set in the woods in EG and are loving it here. No maintenance at all - theyll even change your overhead lightbulbs for you if needed. Both my parents are active and still with it - they love all the activities and classes. Aging tends to be very isolating and lonely - not here- you can be as social as you like. My dad now enjoys joking with all his neighbors down at the free continental breakfasts, card games or mens lunches. My dads physical fitness and overall well-being has greatly improved due to swimming in the indoor pool every day. My mom takes yoga, tai chi, water walking, the educational seminars, bingo. If she wants to go shopping without my dad driving her there she just gets on the weekly buses and goes. They now have to check their schedule before they can pencil us in! I am so happy they found this place- its a good feeling to see your parents happy, making new friends, and trying new things after retirement.

Friendly staff and residents. They need to do fire drills.
February 2019
My Mom is renting an apt. here. She LOVES it. Everyone is over 62, no children or young professionals. She is able to have conversations with anybody she comes in contact with...no one walks by her without speaking or with their heads bent over a mobile device. There is a calendar of activities that keep her as busy as she wants to be. Twice a month she can get a catered dinner if she so desires. She signs up weekly for a bus that takes the residents to the grocery store of their choice. Summit is also pet-friendly so she is able to have her precious cat. The office staff is friendly and looks out for each and every resident. Dont hesitate to take a look

A beautiful place and the staff is wonderful.
July 2018
I just came from a wonderful barbecue at eastwyck Village where my home is now. It was a beautiful day we sat outside under large tents with a nice breeze blowing. Kelly and Tara and the rest of the Eastwick staff did a wonderful job of arranging and carrying out this event. We had a wonderful meal of hamburgers hot dogs fruit salad and beans. After the meal we played several different games. One of the things I really like about this place is how Kelly and Tara make everyone feel welcome. There is a real Spirit of caring here and all of the staff are very very supportive. The folks who live here are all very friendly and welcoming. The grounds are well-kept with lots of Green Space. Kelly and Tara know each one by their names which is somewhat of an accomplishment but a tremendous gift which makes people feel very included. If anyone is looking for a place to live in a senior apartment setting I would give this place five stars or even more. they have many activities and a variety which allows for the different interest of the variety of residents who live here.
