My mother lived at Vassar Warner Home for the last year of her life 2004-2005. My mother received loving, personal care. I visited her often. Two of my mother's best friends chose to live at VWH at the same time! My father's mother also lived at Vassar Warner Home from 1962 to 1967. Grandma loved living with respect and independence, yet loving care from staff. I visited her most Saturdays. During both eras, VWH was elegant, family-style care, with private room. I will visit VWH again soon to see the upgrades in Assisted Living. Thank you for keeping this great place open in Poughkeepsie, NY!
