We had a family emergency and I called Atria Rye Brook to see if they could accommodate my sister who was returning from Rome with a badly broken leg. Joan Brustman, Community Sales Director was amazing. She sprang into action immediately, and along with the Steve Rigie, Executive Director of Atria Home Care, tried to coordinate the assistance my sister would need to help her recover. Because my sister's leg needed a fair amount of rehabilitation and occupational therapy we did not end up at Atria. However, given the amount of concern and care that Joan was able to muster on a moment’s notice, I can only imagine how excellent the care at Atria would have been if my sister was able to recuperate there. If you are considering going there, I’d definitely speak to Joan!

I have found it was the right move for me after my husband‘s death. I had a seizure and I was all alone and it was very difficult and I don’t want to be a burden to my children. So they arrange for me to come here and I have found an absolutely the right thing to do. I’ve had three trips to the hospital since I’ve been here but I’ve had people around and the without any problems everybody’s delightful and helpful and as I said before it was the right move.

My 80 y, o mother just moved in and I am so impressed with the staff. The management team is extremely positive, upbeat and eager to please. The staff are so friendly and happy. They honestly must love their jobs and employers. The residents and staff have been vaccinated! These lucky seniors will be able to have even more opportunities to keep themselves busy, sharp and engaged. This was a tough decision with lots at stake and we definitely made the right choice.

I have been here for last 5 months and I find this facility delightful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Concierges at the front desk guide you through all difficulties, large and small, with a genuine smile. Maintenance staff goes out of their way to make your life easier. All common activities are managed wonderfully even during the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. Most of all, the culinary department is outstanding! Their menus are varied and give delicious choices. I am so glad that I came here and hope to spend my golden years in this peaceful environment!

My mother has been at atria - rye brook for two years. This is an amazing facility with a wonderful and caring staff. Barbara Davis, the Director has navigated Covid-19 so well and handled the situation in the best way possible keeping the residents safe. The staff overall is 5 star. From the amazing people who work at the front desk to the staff in the dining room and the housekeeping dept. Its been a rough year but they have managed to make it through and keep the residents safe - well fed and happy.

My Grandma has lived here for 17 years and she couldnt be happier. Ive always enjoyed my visits with my Grandma here with the friendly staff, beautiful common rooms, and amazing food. Barbara Davis has done an incredible job as executive director keeping all the residents safe and comfortable during the pandemic. In addition, Barbara and the entire staff have been terrific during this past year keeping the families of the residents updated as to safety and health protocols - and providing all of us with a great deal of knowledge and comfort. I highly recommend Atria Rye Brook to anyone looking for an assisted living home!

We did a lot of research into independent living facilities in Westchester before making the decision that the Atria Rye Brook was the right place for my mom based on the activities and participation by so many of the residents. We had visited before the coronavirus pandemic when things were a lot more open. My mom moved there over the summer, and the precautions and the care taken by the leadership team and the rest of the staff has been great! Everyone wears masks and gloves and the protocols in place are excellent. Despite the social distancing and the masks, the staff has been incredibly helpful and caring. Its a beautiful facility that is very well maintained and I know that my mom is safe. We are looking to when the restrictions are eased and life at the Atria Rye Brook can get back to a more normal cadence and greater activity level. Considering the current scenario, they are doing a great job in keeping the residents safe and engaged with exercise classes and lectures and movies, all safely socially distanced!

My mom moved to the Atria a few months ago..Its like night and day. Her mood has lifted. she went from lonely and bored to independent and happy. She has made some friends and one especially that she shares in many events with. The front staff especially Cheryl, are all wonderful. All we wanted for her is to be happy and well cared for...We are all happy now and I can sleep at night knowing that she is safe .I highly recommend taking the leap .

I want to give a big thanks to Barbara Davis, the Executive Director. My mom has been at Atria for several years and we have had a series of directors, all of whom have been minimally effective in being proactive about the needs of the residents. Barbara is a breath of fresh air. She returns calls, visits my mother, and addresses whatever issues arise in a timely and helpful way. She is the first director who doesnt just respond with a standard answer of Were working on it. She actually works on it!! She has handled the difficult days of Covid so well and has kept the community safe. Furthermore, she understands the emotional needs of the residents at this time and considers these needs as she tries to balance their safety and their sense of isolation. Barbara actually enjoys her residents and it shows. I am grateful to her for being there for my mom and for being communicative and engaged with me, as well.

My name is Dr. Rick, I have been inside the Atria of Rye Brook since it started in 2005. Within those years I have witnessed how Atria of Rye Brook administration takes concern making sure the residents are cared for. They are always making sure residents are engaged in the community and involved in the various activities they provide. I have also witnessed how the facility has provided optimal services to its residents. The Atria of Rye Brook employees are compassionate in their work, which reflects how they treat the residents. I love being part of their team.

My parents have lived at Atria Rye Brook for over a year now, and I have nothing but praise for the staff, facility, and my parents experience there. Of course, covid presented huge challenges for everyone but the staff did an impressive job of keeping everyone safe, engaged, and cared for. The building is always spotless, the staff are always upbeat, friendly and helpful, the meals are delicious, and the programming is enjoyed by all. If you are looking for a place for yourself or a loved one, please, go visit! You will be impressed.

Mum has been a resident for 5 years. She loves it. She is very social (now 98 years young) and that is the key. If you stay by yourself, you wont like it anywhere. Mum enjoys the food and is friendly with the staff. If she doesnt like something, she meets with the chef. Constantly busy. The facility is exquisite in Rye Brooke, NY. Cheryl, at the front desk is a jewel.
