What a great place. When my Dad arrived there more than 2 years ago our family felt great because of how understanding and compassionate the whole staff was. That feeling has not changed. If there is ever a problem or concern, things get done and the response is right away. Anytime a question comes up, I call or send an email and it is resolved. My Dad is in a great place with my wonderful people both the residents and the staff. As they say, about every organization, when it is good or bad, it starts from the top of staffing and goes all the way down to all the others. Elena Vega-Castro the Administrator has been NOTHING less than understanding and helpful and that is carried down to everyone that works there. She sends out letters each month informing us of what is going on from special events to on going issues (such as Covid). If you ever need to place a loved one at a nursing facility, this is the place to go in Plattsburgh. I assure you that once your loved one is there, you know you did not make a mistake and will have lots of support and understanding from all who work there and live there.

My mother in law is a part of the Adult Day Program at PRNC. My mother in law has Alzheimer's and with this program it has given her something to look forward to on her scheduled days. She has made many friends who are like family, and has gotten to enjoy things such as bingo, live music and so much more! This place has given us a sense of relieve and we are thankful for this program!

My mother, Mary, enjoys the day service very much. It gives her a chance to socialize, and she has close bonds with many of the residents. The workers have also been very helpful in watching over some of her problematic health issues and call me with any concerning findings. Without the day service I dont think it would be possible for my mom to remain self sufficient. Blessed to have the support.

I have been at Plattsburgh rehab for just under one year. We have a strong nursing and therapy team. If you are looking for rehabilitation from an unexpected fall or injury this is the place to go! The whole team: house keepers, maintenance, kitchen staff, and aides work together to take the best care of our patients. Please call for a tour. We would love to have you.

I write this review as a former employee. I enjoyed my time working for PRNC; I appreciated working at a place where the residents always came first, where I could work from and learn from a great team, and where my coworkers became my close friends. I saw many residents come and go, and I am proud to say that at PRNC, I felt like my residents were my family.
