In response to the review by ClutchTastic; We have lived here for two years. The first issue you stated concerning maintenance personnel is misleading. Each building has one maintenance person. There are three Connect55 properties locally. Our maintenance person is newer, being here approximately three months. He is extremely polite and prompt when responding to calls. They each cover the others for weekends on call, emergencies, or vacation time, to the best of my knowledge. Air filters are changed regularly. If the resident wishes to have it changed more often, they just need to request it in writing to the manager. Updates are given at regular Friday meetings that residents can attend, and they can ask questions or bring up issues. As to the trips, they were not all cancelled "this year". But some did not go because there is a minimum number of people required, especially if it involves bus rental, and some trips simply did not have enough people sign up. Yes, due to circumstances beyond her control, the activity coordinator fell ill. But a number of activities have still gone on, just not as many sometimes. Residents can partake in as many as they choose, or they can choose not to partake in any. Activities are a plus of living here. Some residents have even put together activities on their own. As of this writing, all activities seem to be up and running. If your in-laws have issues they need to have addressed, they need to be proactive and speak to the community manager. We can say that we are very happy with our place.

I have inlaws here now. At first it was all positive. Now I'm hearing nothing but complaints. The grounds are kept up. The main issue is that there's supposedly only one maintenance person for all the buildings. Their filters haven't been changed in over a year. The kitchen sink hasn't been replaced in over 2 years after the request was put in. All their trips this year were canceled. Because one employee/organizer fell ill. How barebones is this skeleton crew that's supposed to service our vulnerable 55+ I could go on.... I do not want any replies of contact management. I want to hear from residents that things are getting better.

I highly recommend this facility for anyone aged 55 and over who is in search of an exceptional, maintenance-free living space. The atmosphere here is incredibly warm and welcoming, characterized by a positive and uplifting environment. The staff are truly exceptional; having worked in cleaning services across nearly 40 senior living facilities over the past 30 years, I can confidently say that none rival the quality found here. The property manager, MaryBeth, is particularly noteworthy for her warm and caring approach. She treats all residents as if they were her own family, offering love, compassion, and respect. Karen, the event coordinator, is equally impressive. She consistently goes above and beyond to organize engaging activities, ensuring there's always something new and exciting for residents, from themed decorations to a variety of weekly events that keep everyone active and engaged. Over the last two years, the facility has seen numerous upgrades, including a new roof, fresh carpeting across all three floors, modern lighting, and vibrant paint that enhances the building's overall ambiance. The amenities are extensive and cater to a wide range of interests, featuring a billiard room, gym, hair salon, and library, among others. As I approach the age to qualify for residence myself, I am seriously considering moving in. If you're thinking about transitioning from a larger home into a cozy, hassle-free apartment, or if you're simply seeking more social interaction with peers your age, this place is worth exploring. I invite you to call, schedule a tour, and see for yourself why this facility is so highly praised. You won't be disappointed!
