Chelsea of New City has both assisted living and memory-care sections. It is a lovely new place with numerous quiet sitting areas for conversation, pleasant staff and administrators, nice selections of food for meals in a restaurant-like dining room with helpful wait-staff. The apartments have large kitchenettes with standard-size refrigerators and sinks. The bathrooms are large and clean, with plenty of storage area, the large windowed bedrooms have walk-in closets. The elevators to the second and third floors are swift and quiet. With a doctor prescription, OT and PT are provided by professionals from a contracted agency. The OT/PT room has a variety of exercise equipment for use by the residents. Various events are offered throughout the day, with a movie in the comfortable "theater" each evening. The residents may keep pets in their apartments. There are several levels of care available, depending of the functioning level of the residents, but all residents have the clothes laundered and their apartments cleaned regularly. I'm very impressed with this senior living facility.

We met with senior staff at Atria New City today and were so impressed with their knowledge, interest and willingness to spend time with us learning about our brother. The staff is kind and always willing to help him. The focus, priorities and attention to detail are remarkable.

My folks have been at Atria New City just over 2 months. Atria is a beautiful HOME, the upkeep is impeccable, and the personal service ( care level that is SO important) has been beyond valuable. Atria offers lovely daily activities (led by such kind and personable staff- Charlese!) as well as a nighttime movie 7 days/week in a beautiful movie theatre. The restaurant staff headed up by Kevin( and far too many to name!) are all so warm and accommodating, as are Rich and Doug (everything from maintenance to drivers!) and each of the girls at the front desk. Finally, Caroline Silver and Laura Hahn in the main office have lent us invaluable assistance since day 1, ( with kindness and smiles to boot!), and now joined by Susanne Scaccio in Sales, an amazing addition to the team. Go Atria!

My parents moved into the atria new city in august 2021 just one month after it opened. It was a difficult move for them coming from Florida. They had a hard time adjusting to apartment living after living in a house for over 20 years. Giving up their independence wasn't also very difficult. I chose atria new city because of the proximity to my home as well as for the beautiful facility and everything it offered. Now that they have been there for a few months I have nothing but wonderful things to say. The staff has been amazing—-very warm, caring and supportive. I know my parents are in the right place!! When I'm not there visiting I am confident that my parents are in good hands and the staff has truly made them(and me) feel like part of their family!

This community is set on a former horse ranch. The meadow adjacent can be viewed from some of the apartments. They will offer beautiful outdoor space and comfortable amenities. The team leasing this new community has years of experience with seniors, too!
