After a short but brutal ER stay (my mom took too much or too little meds), Maryville was able to accept my mom the next day. The director went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and my mom was safe. I would write every single aide into my mom's will if I could- they truly are "above and beyond" in care, safety, and attentiveness. We had soooo much problems getting my mom's meds filled and the director was on the phone every day with my mom's many doctors, the hospital, and me to make sure everything was square. When my mom had hesitation with eating, the director called me to arrange delivery from a local Chinese restaurant (my mom is Chinese and typically eats Chinese food) just to make sure she was well. I mean, I cannot stress enough how much they are on the ball with my mom's needs, trouble shooting, and follow up. I have to go back to Michigan tomorrow, but I leave finally feeling my mom is safe. My mom is mostly free to do what she does- sit in isolation when she needs quiet, pace when she's feeling antsy, etc. It really is like being at home (but with the needed oversight).

My father was moved to Maryville once it was determined that he needed the highest level of care. It is at that point that when you must have a caring dedictated staff and management team whom you can trust with your loved one. I could not have been more pleased with the care my father received at Maryville and completely 100% endorse the facility for your loved ones that need the highest level of care.

For my mother and our family, Maryville was more than just an assisted living facility- it was home. From the moment we walked through the doors, the kindness that we were greeted with filled our hearts with a sense of peace that words cannot describe. Miss Mary, the manager, Allison the supervisor and all the bighearted aides always treated my mother with the utmost dignity, respect and compassion. Maryville's administrator, Sandy Spielman, oversaw that my mother's needs were always met and continuously ensured that each of the residents under her care felt comfortable, secure, and- most importantly- loved. My mother's room was always clean and well maintained. The entire facility itself felt like a hug- from the cozy atmosphere, to the peaceful common areas, to the lovely grounds and to the warm kitchen where the chefs prepared quality meals. Each night, I was able to sleep soundly knowing the exceptional level of healthcare my mom was receiving. My mom and all the residents were surrounded by people who truly understand and respect the value of human life by the way they treat some of the most vulnerable among us- the elderly. In a world that disregards the sick and/or senior citizens, Maryville shines a light on their worth and beauty. Under Sandy's direction, Maryville is a dwelling place of calm, tranquility and joy that our parents/grandparents truly deserve. I will always be grateful for Sandy and all she has done for our family. She has become a dear friend, who, along with Maryville, will hold a special place in my heart forever. I don't know where to begin. My Mom lived at Maryville for the last year of her life and I cant say enough about them. Sandy and the staff became like an extended family to us. They are such incredible people. The love care kindness and professionalism of everyone there is just incredible! In the beginning of this terrible journey with Moms Dementia we did put her in one of those big fancy places and it was NOT good. By the grace of God I was told about Maryville and moved her there. She was loved and cared for and I could finally find some peace. My heart was broken over needing to place my Mom in a Facility, but that's just it Maryville is a Home with love and care and home cooked food and they all know everything that's needed for the residents. My Mom was not easy at all and they loved her and knew all her likes and dislikes and cared for her like a family member. The ladies even worked on it and she gained weight and was a bit more clear. My mom recently passed and they cared for her until that morning with such love compassion and dignity I just cant thank the staff and Sandy enough! When this happens to a family we don't ever feel anywhere is good enough but Maryville is ''Home'' when you cant care for them yourself any longer. I thank Sandy and the beautiful staff at Maryville from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for easing the burden of this terrible disease Thank you for loving my Mom in spite of her difficultness. Maryville is a true hidden Gem. If you or a family member needs Dementia care this is where you want to be.

The staff at this assisted living home is truly exceptional. They come to work with such joy and dedication, making it clear they love what they do. Their care is not just attentive but deeply compassionate; they consistently go above and beyond to ensure our loved one feels valued and cared for. The owner. Sandra Spielman, is always calling with updates, which gives us immense peace of mind. They provide transportation to doctor's appointments, showing their commitment extends well beyond basic care. This place really does cater to the needs of each resident, making it feel like a true home, compared to others we tried where workers make it obvious they hate their work.

My father and I stopped by Maryville one Saturday to visit my mother and the staff had a birthday party taking place for one of the residents. They did such a wonderful job, they had some decorations, riddles and we left before the cake was served. My Dad and I sat in the main room on either side of my mother and were included in the festivities. I want to give a shoutout for Maryville Enhanced Assisted living. My husband has been a resident for several months. I have to say his needs are well taken care of, and the facility is immaculate, as are the residents. There is no hint of the medicinal odor so many facilities experience. As a bonus the meals are very good. Consider Maryville if you are in need of place to reside in.

I am proud to share with you a positive rating. I am not sure how to post pictures so I will just write this brief review. My 94 year old dad was placed Maryville recently I am extremely pleased with the care he is getting there. Although he has advanced dementia he looks so much better now and is eating well. Food is delicious. Entertainment is fabulous and cost is reasonable.

We had my mother in Maryville for several years, we liked it very much. It is a very clean facility with plenty of employees, plus a chief cooking homemade meals daily. When it came time for dad to go into a facility we went straight to Maryville. Every-time we go to see him, he has a smile on his face. We don’t have to worry at all, we know he’s in good hands. I highly recommend Maryville Enhanced Assisted Living.

My grandparents, Herbert and Louise Gathercole, established this place I guess sometime in the 1950's. It started out as a horse barn but my grandfather built it into a nursing home. I went there often as a little boy to entertain the guests with my childhood cuteness.

This is a small facility and privately owned. The staff is fantastic and I can't say enough about the care they gave my Dad. If you have a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer's this is the place for them. Very homey and Sandy the director is a gem of a lady.
