The staff is loyal and dedicated to the residents. The kitchen staff takes pride in preparing their daily meals. The activities director works hard to make sure the residents stay busy day to day. The facility is very clean and everyone who works there has always been wonderful and very helpful.

My parents live at the Terrace and they love it there. It has given them new friends and stand-in family, with theirs so far away! They dont feel as alone and isolated as they did in their own apartment. I am so grateful for their kindness and support!

Last Friday evening, I had the privilege of playing piano accompaniment for Christmas carols during the annual Christmas party at Seneca Lake Terrace. The staff had gone to great lengths to provide their residents with a truly festive and enjoyable celebration. I was so impressed with the number of residents who attended the event; they were dressed in their holiday best and they came ready to sing and interact and enjoy the program. Many of the residents were joined by their family members. Following the music, the residents were treated to a lovely assortment of holiday treats. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this event, and I truly hope to return throughout the year to play and sing with these folks again.

I worked here for 4 years 8 months and 12 days in total everyday as I come to work I see the smile of the residents the happiness in their faces thats the reason why Im happy to take care of them its my pleasure to serve and know them and love them like my own family .

My mom was a resident at Seneca Lake Terrace for 2 years. Previously a resident at a much larger facility, she received excellent care there until her passing. I was so relieved and happy to have her reside at SLT where she was cared for by such caring, respectful and competent staff. The care provided to her was nothing short of outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to address her growing needs as her dementia worsened. There is a definite need for more places like SLT for our elderly loved ones. We are indeed fortunate to have such a family orientated facility in our own backyard. After my moms passing last year, I became a volunteer at SLT because I felt so strongly that it was such a special place for our elderly. I too wanted to help enrich the lives of the residents there, as a way to honor my moms memory. As someone who is there several days a week, I continue to see residents get the loving care that my mom received. Whether it be helping them with a medical issue, an activity, reassurance, companionship or a simple hug or smile--it is given freely by the staff. If your loved one needs more care than you can give or if they need more supervision and, or social interaction, please schedule a visit to SLT to see the staff, resident interaction for yourself.
