I am/was a resident of this facility. From the moment I visited the Boulevard, I knew it was a caring, upbeat and friendly place. The staff is warm and welcoming. My room is cozy, clean and more than comfortable. I have the freedom I need to be independent but the security knowing a competent staff of professionals are ready to help when called for. My adjustment has been swift and, with the help of friends I am making and staff, I am beginning to feel very much at home here. If you need assisted living, this is the place!

Clearly, the most important element of any Assisted Living is it's people, and I cannot say enough good things about all the people at Boulevard. Everyone was so kind and welcoming to my parents and did everything they could to always make my parents (aged 94 and 89) comfortable and safe. High praise.

I cannot say enough about The Boulevard and all they have done for my older sister. They have brought back happiness and health to someone that was a prisoner of the pandemic and living on her own. They have also made my life so much easier, handling simple and complex tasks that would be my sole responsibility. I only say have the kindest words for Sam, Elinor, Lisa and Alex. I know I am leaving out others that I’ve had dealings with, but everyone I’ve dealt with has been just super.

Boulevard Assisted Living ALP in Fresh Meadows NY. Is a breathe of fresh air. Nessy at the front desk welcomes you with a big pleasant smile. Elinor the director of admission welcomes every and any question or concern you may have. Elinor is truly amazing at making my mom feel comfortable and welcome. The meals are great. Mathew keeps the recreations fun and lively they are endless. The staff are all so helpful and kind. All the areas are always clean.

DO NOT!!! set up your loved ones with this company. I work for this company, for my mother is with the company as a patient, they are so unreliable, unprofessional, 3/15 ads are lazy, they complain and don't know how to do their job, I work the weekdays and the weekends if the ads don't come into work they leave my mother alone for the weekend and I have to take care of her, the company won't call to let u know if any ads are coming and when u call u wait on the line for 6 to 10 mins and there are never any supervisors UNPROFESSIONAL!!. It took a year to get this job because they continued messing up my paperwork. I get the job they have 10 different people helping you and they never have one person that can help you they give accurate info and payroll is horrible in one case I didn't get paid for 3 months straight, one aid told me she didn't get paid for 6 months smh. my story is long but to make it short DONT COME HERE, if I cant give a 0/10 I would.

My wife and I have had a very pleasant experience with moving mom to the Boulevard Alp in Queens. The process was smooth and organized. The hands on approach is a hallmark of Boulevard Alp. Mrs Elinor took a personal interest and patiently and professionally expedited all the paperwork and the move-in process. Thank you Elinor! So far mom has experienced first hand the care and attentiveness of the nursing and home care staff. She is happy, content, and adjusting well. Big shout-out to maintenance crew for immediately addressing any request and delivery installations! We are looking forward to meeting the rest of the staff in the coming months as the Coronavirus restrictions slowly ease out.

The facility is beautiful, clean and welcoming. Residents of all faiths are treated alike. The staff especially the nurses, case workers, administrative officers and those at the reception are friendly and caring. It is noteworthy that the facility is a safe environment for the residents including those who require assistance with daily activities. My mother was taken good care of during the current covid problem. It gave me relief that she was in good hands. I recommend this facility to anyone.

I am a current resident at Boulevard ALP and Im truly loving my stay here. Everyone including the management and staff are very friendly and helpful and look out for my best interests. The private apartments and amenities are all well maintained. We have daily activities which help keep us busy, sharp and agile. Almost everything you need is here and it is just like your home away from home or may be even better. Lisa Steinberg the Assistant Administrator - Director of Case Management is an absolute sweetheart. She is very caring and checks on me every now and then. I highly recommend Boulevard ALP to all who are considering a place like this for their loved ones.

My mom was at Boulevard ALP from 2014 until a few months ago. From Lisa Steinberg, Case Manager, to Camille, the aide on my moms floor, the care and concern for my moms well-being couldnt be better. For my mom, who was resistant to make this move, it was like being at home. Even now, when she needs nursing home care, she misses the people at Boulevard. I highly recommend this place.

I am the one of resident of Boulevard. I have been live here for over 3years with my wife. But as everyone knows over one years, the pandemic has affected all of our lives. But leadership of Lisa Steinberg-Asst. administrator -Dir. Case Manager, Took care from day one and swiftly and decisively went into action. The incredible administrative staff, All the workers from the aides to the kitchen staff and housekeeper made us feel a safe and secure. Our dad has been a resident at Boulevard ALP for almost 4 years, and its been a great place for him. The staff is very caring and really seem to look out for the residents. There are lots of activities throughout the week (which my dad loves). Of course now during the COVID-19 pandemic theyve had to drastically alter how they operate but my siblings and I have been impressed with how theyve handled this terrible situation. The staff is working really hard to keep everyone safe. Thanks to Lisa, Sam, Neesy, Sofia, Sharma, Samantha, MJ, Alex, Dr Zeitlin, and all the other staff there who are doing a great job!

Mother in law was one of first residents when this site first opened years ago. When we needed to relocate sister in law from her present site, we decided this was the place for her. She left a warehouse, for profit, fancy schmancy assisted living and the spiraling out of control costs associated with the for profit industry. Eleanor made the transition to alps seamless and pleasant. Her new apartment was updated and immaculate. Staff and providers were warm and welcoming. She is beyond happy with the change - change is difficult for her, but due to the amazing staff and commitment of the staff, her transition has been effortless. The family is happier with knowing she is in a more appropriate and considerate home.

My Mom is extremely fortunate to be a resident of The Boulevard for nearly six years. It was the best decision we had made in 2014 locating this facility and selecting it as her new home. Following her move to the Boulevard, it was like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. No more worrying about her living alone and fending for herself. It was the smartest move we ever made. From the moment we toured the facility and met the incredible administrative staff, we felt so welcome. The application process was quite simple and all that followed went very smoothly alleviating any fears and apprehension on our part. All the workers from the aides to the kitchen staff embraced my Mom and made her feel a part of the family. The last couple of months has been quite of an ordeal for all New Yorkers. The pandemic has affected all of our lives. But the leadership at the Boulevard took charge from day one and swiftly and decisively went into action. They imposed the lockdown and took every feasible precaution to insure the safety and well being of the residents and staff...I applaud them wholeheartedly! Not being able to see my Mom for nearly three months has been a challenge for both of us. However, the encouragement and positive work of the staff has calmed her tremendously helping her understand the gravity of the situation. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart!! Paul Gross

The Boulevard ALP Assisted living is a lovely facility that does not have that facility feel. After our visit-tour to see the BLVD, Mom chose this as her place. Mom was a resident of the BLVD from 2015 to present. The staff are wonderful and extremely caring and supportive. Our hope is that we remember everyone and everything and do not forget to mention the excellence of the different departments, Administration, Case Management, Business Office, Compliance ofc, Medication, Doctor-Nurse, Reception-Concierge, Recreation, Dining, Aides-Nurses, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and the friendliness of other Residents. We always felt Mom was in good hands at the BLVD. There is privacy for residents, but with the utmost caring support of the staff, who make it feel like a big family setting. The interior feels warm and inviting. There are many places within to go for activities, rec-room, religious services, a spacious dining room, a beautiful peaceful outdoor court yard where they have outdoor BBQs... The list goes on... Outside the front entrance is a cul-de-sac, which is very nice and private to BLVD. We were very fortunate to have found this hidden gem after shopping around. The BLVD is the best of them ! During this COVID-19 crisis the BLVD staff went into immediate protective mode to safeguard its residents. They did an excellent job of keeping them safe, while keeping it as close to normal for Mom - residents within and our family. Its true, Heroes do work here ! This was not just a place for Mom. The Boulevard ALP would be our choice for ourselves and our other family members who may need the services of an assisted living. Such a great place ! Thank you ALL, from the bottom to top of our hearts.

If you want to retire and need some help, COME HERE! Right now because of COVID, the foods not fantastic and some activities are on hold but its stll a terrific place to be. Its not a home, its your new home where you have your own possessions, space, and no housework! Theres just about nothing missing here, and i shopped. No place even comes close. And if youre on Medicaid and Social Security, ITS FREE!

It is a life changing and scary experience to hand over your mom to a facility no matter how much dudiligence you do. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. My mom Alice lived at The Boulevard Alp Assisted Living for 3 1/2 years until her passing at 91 years old. She was always handled with love and great respect. She felt at home here and always told me she felt very safe. I look back at this little gem of a community of caregivers and I feel they are my family. I will forever be grateful to The Boulevard Alp Assisted Living.
