I wrote my initial review three years ago when my dad first entered this outstanding residence. The level of care continued to be remarkable. It was a true "home" where he always felt most "safe" and cared for--his words. The nursing staff is outstanding, always keeping an eye on him, the option to bring a companion in to sit and talk with a resident is wonderful, the caseworkers take fantastic care of residents and arrange rides, the financial officers are amazing at helping with documents and paperwork, the psychologist, Dr. Kutner, is warm, caring, and insightful, and the director and assistant director are splendid--attentive to each resident, even visiting my dad in rehab a few times. I can't praise Boulevard enough. The administrators are so deeply invested in the residents' well-being. Their caring shows in every single interaction. They did everything they could to help with my dad's admission process and make the move-in as smooth and welcoming as possible. Ms. Taasa, Ms. Steinberg, and Director Sam Horowitz went above and beyond to get everything ready, and called repeatedly to check up on him afterward. The community is a warm, hospitable place with terrific food and amenities. I am very grateful my dad is there.

We have been so happy having our mother at The Boulevard ALP. Elinor made the admissions process go very smoothly. She took the time to explain everything and make a very complicated process seem easy. My mother is still going through the period of adjustment after living independently for so many years, But everyone at The Boulevard could not be more kind and accommodating from Elinor in admissions, to Lisa in Case Management, to the aides that are there to help her with any activities of living. Literally everyone. The place is top notch with a beautiful dinning room, meal choices and plenty of activities. It gives us comfort to know that our mother is in good hands.

The Boulevard is a lively, upbeat place with resident run projects and workshops, and staff that really cares and will go out of their way to accommodate individual needs. My apartment is cozy and more spacious than some Manhattan studio apartments. I have been here 2 years and have made some very good friends and participated in wonderful activities. Boulevard ALP, my experience here since moving in last Wednesday, has been one of pure wonderment! I thank God for guiding me in finding this amazing Residence. Our mom moved into Boulevard ALP earlier this month. She is a shy person, and nervous in social settings. Yet, thanks to Elinor Tassa's guiding hand, we have seen her transform overnight. She has already made several new friends, loves her table in the dining room, and has even tried her hand at Rumikub! She cannot stop talking about how nice everyone at Boulevard is and how welcome she feels. Staff is amazing, facility is immaculate and the sense of community is outstanding. I wanted to come back and add that nearly three years later, Boulevard ALP still remains a top-notch facility. My mother is well cared for, happy and thriving. Kudos all around.

My parents lived at the Boulevard Alp for 5 years.They arrived during the Covid pandemic and were accepted with warmth and concern. The care exhibited by all the staff was exemplary. From doctors, nurses, floor assistants, all took good care of them.Any concerns or questions were always addressed promptly. A special thank you to Lisa Steinberg, director of Case Managment who was always a listening ear and was supportive in so many ways. My dad lived in the Boulevard ALP for more than a year. All families and visitor all comment it is like a 3 star hotel. I really appreciate all staff and helpers for their passionate serving. The building is taken care nicely. When you walk in the cafeteria, you can smell the aroma of the food. The pharmacist can remember all resident’s name and distribute the medication.

Hi Lisa and Sam, Last week my Mom had oral surgery and the next day she had subsequent routine bleeding from the affected gum. My mom was anxious and agitated because of what she considered to be excessive bleeding. She was so upset that she wouldn't even speak to me about it. While I was on a video call with her, Nurse Dorina came into Mom's room to check on her. I watched as Dorina assuaged my mom's fears, calmed her, and treated the wound. Dorina's compassion was evident as she helped to heal not only her bleeding, but Mom's emotional state as well. I bring up this incident as it is indicative of the care Boulevard ALP is providing. As you may know, my brother and his wife have kept a watchful eye over Mom these last few years in Boulevard. Unfortunately, due to familial health issues, they've had to take a step back in the last few months. My wife and I have tried to step up but there is only so much that we can do from our home on the West Coast and we depend more than ever on Boulevard ALP. Like Dorina, you, Rocio, aides, receptionists, and your entire staff have been exceptionally helpful, understanding, and compassionate in caring for Mom. Mom's extended family (of which there are very many) sincerely thank you.

Boulevard ALP brought the light back into my Aunt’s life and heart! I owe a debt of gratitude to Boulevard ALP for all they provided to my Aunt Gloria during her stay, which began back in 2020, Unfortunately, she passed away at the age of 95 while rehabbing in a Nursing home from a fall. Overwhelmed by the caregiving I provided to her older sister (Mother), I was set at ease by knowing she was safe, especially during Covid. They prioritized everyone’s well-being and safety. I also was residing with my mom, almost 1 hrs. away. The staff is friendly, providing personal care and a strong sense of community. Along with their welcoming environment, they provide a wide variety of engaging activities to their residence. After I packed up all her belongings, I headed towards the elevators. I stopped and talked to an aide. She happened to have provided care to my Aunt. What a lovely lady, sharing some her experiences and time spent with my Aunt Go. My uncle recently moved into the Boulevard. As someone who was set in his ways forever at his home, we were both nervous and anxious about moving but knew it would be best for him. Elinor, in admissions, made the process much easier. And truly cannot be more appreciative of her understanding, and helpfulness in getting him moved in. Additionally Luba in the business office was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when helping us to figure out the financial and insurance portions. Since moving in uncle is extremely happy, States the facilities and activities are friendly, clean and caring. He is excited about the activities provided and food is great. I have talked with Ella about medications and she is extremely caring and knowledgeable and helped to make sure everything is set for him. I am so happy to report that my mom is already thriving at the Boulevard ALP. LP is a wonderful place for a senior. The apartments are very good size for a single person with good closets and a kitchenette and large bathroom They keep it very clean there and provide laundry service to the tenant The food is very good and plenty My dad was able to make friends pray enjoy some activities and go on some local excursions There is a doctor on site and the staff helps with doctor appointments and transportation. There are great parties for the holidays. This location, fully rejuvenated, my father’s livelihood at the right age of 88. We are blessed to have found ALP!

After exploring a few assisted living facilities, I continued my search and thankfully found Boulevard Alp. My father just moved in yesterday after being in a skilled nursing facility for a month. The transition was smooth, thanks to Ms. Elinor Tassa. Ms. Tassa was extremely helpful through the entire process, and has continuously remained in touch. She is patient, thorough and answers all questions. Also thanks to Ms. Lisa Steinberg who was so helpful and kind when we first went to tour. The facility is impeccably clean, beautiful and well-kept. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The intake was smooth, and very well-organized. Most importantly, my father is very pleased with his studio apartment and happy that he remains independent while knowing that his specific needs are being addressed. Everything he needs is available at Boulevard Alp, and we are finally relieved to know that he is in terrific hands. I know for a fact that my father will thrive here in ways he never did at home. Our deepest gratitude to Ms. Tassa and Ms. Steinberg for all of their help and everyone else who made this transition not only possible for my father, but as smooth as possible.

We only moved my dad into Boulevard ALP a few days ago, but so far it's been wonderful. Everybody's gone out of their way to make him feel at home. The public spaces are comfortable and well cared-for, there's quite a busy calendar of things to do, and his studio apartment feels pleasant, if sparsely furnished. He's an observant Jew, and between the kosher food and the on-site shul, this seems like the perfect spot for him. Tomorrow we're moving in some of his own furniture, after which I hope he'll settle in nicely.

Ever since she moved into Boulevard ALP this summer, my mother-in-law is a different person. She is much happier and healthier, being able to network and make new friends in the building while also participating in various activities. The staff is extremely helpful and efficient. Elinor made the move-in process a breeze. The first day of her arrival, she was carefully assigned to a dining table where her primary language was a dominant language. There are constant socializing opportunities, group trips, doctor visits/check-ins, and thoughtfully arranged events with tasty food. The place is kept clean, spacious and well-organized. I would love to retire here myself when the time comes, if that is at all possible!

My mom lived at The Alp and was treated with kindness and compassion. Their in-house companion staff was excellent and offered the extra care my mother required. The in-house services (doctor and podiatrist) were life savers. When my mom first arrived at The Alp, it was an incredibly hard transition due to COVID. The added services, quality care and nurses guidance helped make the transition easier. I appreciate the staff who helped my mom daily, especially the dedicated floor aides who I will never forget.

I am very very lucky that I have found this place for my mother. Boulevard ALP was highly recommended by an acquaintance who has her mother staying here with great satisfaction. My mother had great difficulty looking for a new place to stay and while she was in the hospital about to be discharged she was able to have the interview via face time with Sam (Administrator) and Elinor(Admissions). They were very helpful and miraculously my mother was able to move in the following day. I heard it usually takes a couple of weeks or so, to get admitted but thanks to Elinor who understood my mother’s situation, was super helpful in getting my mother’s paperwork together in one day and now my mother is in a wonderful place surrounded my friendly and caring staff. There is a nice dining area, lounge, library and lots of activities to participate. Within a week my mother was able make lots of friends and hopes to stay as long as she can.

I helped my aging relative move into Boulevard recently. The whole process of application, visits to the facility and interviewing with the administrator and the director of admissions was a very pleasant experience. The facility is clean and offers the residents a home of multiple ethnicities. Terrific place. You get your own apartment. Another place had two beds to a room with no privacy curtain in between. Staff at Boulevard terrific to interact with as are all the other residents. There is a calendar of daily events. Doctor's office on premises. Your bed is made up while you have breakfast in the nice restaurant style dinning room with servers offering you choices. I was surprised to see white table cloth on table. Your choice of regular or decaff coffee. Elinor is terrific person who seems to be able to handle everything without hesitation.

Both my aunt and brother reside here. They are very happy and our family knows they are safe and well taken care of. The staff are all so kind and compassionate. My relatives truly feel like they are at home here.

After visiting several assisted living facilities in Queens, I knew that Boulevard Alp was the absolute best location for my mother-in-law. I took my mother-in-law (who is a very private person) to visit Boulevard Alp today with the hopes that she would be willing to move there. As soon as she was given the tour and talked to one of the residents, she was ecstatic and wanted to move in right away. Elinor from Admissions was amazing. She made my mother-in-law feel welcome from the minute she saw her. I can't say enough good things about this facility. It is beautiful and well maintained with lots of activities and plenty of places for the residents to relax. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is by far the best location that I was able to find in this area.

A friend of mine spent 2 months at the Boulevard before she was able to move back into her apartment. I visited the place and received feedback from this friend. We found the Boulevard to be excellent in every regard. The place was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were very spacious and well appointed. The food was good and plentiful. Most important of all, the staff were all superb! They were all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They work hard to make the residents feel at home. When I visited, every staff member that I passed in the hallway smiled and said hello. I recommend the Boulevard without hesitation!

Boulevard Alp is where my grandmother lived from 2016 to 2021. She enjoyed every part of it while living there. Lisa , there is so much to say about her. She is amazing. She is the person to speak to when help is needed. The office staff are carring just as well . They listen , they help, and they treat all equally. The house keeping staff were amazing. They made sure the room is always clean and fresh. The dining room staff are lovely. The food was amazing and delicious. Thank you all for all you did for her. RIP Grandma.

We were allowed to experience this facility several times: in-person tour, video-call, and on move-in. Through each preceding we worked with Elinor from Administration and members of the medical staff to establish my grandmother's residence at The Boulevard, and although eventually we did not transition my grandmother (on her own accord, mind you) the hours of discussion and effort shown by the staff were not lost on us. Every single request or notion of concern was accommodated and accounted for by Elinor and staff without neglecting or hindering any other aspect of my grandmother's admission, and with respect to her 96-year-old price tag these evidences of immense consideration were touching and reassuring that if my grandmother had decided to stay that we would have made the best decision we could for her.

My sister has been a resident of Boulevard for over a year. She is a difficult case and I thank every staff worker there for their patience in dealing with her and teaching her to be a better person. The aide and housekeeper are very kind to her and look after her needs. Elinor, the administrator, has the patience of a saint. Luba, the person in charge of finances, is very helpful and knowledgeable. Niecy at the front desk is friendly and helpful. And Lisa, the case worker, is a wonder. She is always there to listen and try to help with any and all problems. She has worked miracles working with my sister. My sister has special needs but she is thriving there as never before, thanks to all the friendly, helpful, caring people working there. The building is very clean and pleasant, the apartments are comfortable, and the monthly calendar of events is full of fun activities. I highly recommend this assisted living.

DO NOT!!! set up your loved ones with this company. I work for this company, for my mother is with the company as a patient, they are so unreliable, unprofessional, 3/15 ads are lazy, they complain and don't know how to do their job, I work the weekdays and the weekends if the ads don't come into work they leave my mother alone for the weekend and I have to take care of her, the company won't call to let u know if any ads are coming and when u call u wait on the line for 6 to 10 mins and there are never any supervisors UNPROFESSIONAL!!. It took a year to get this job because they continued messing up my paperwork. I get the job they have 10 different people helping you and they never have one person that can help you they give accurate info and payroll is horrible in one case I didn't get paid for 3 months straight, one aid told me she didn't get paid for 6 months smh. my story is long but to make it short DONT COME HERE, if I cant give a 0/10 I would.

My father was a resident of Boulevard Alp for 2 years. He was treated with the utmost respect, warmth and care. Starting from Sam the Administrator to Lisa Director of case management and Ann that provides hands on care. As well as the other numerous staff that we were delighted to deal with. They create a personal relationship with each one of their residents. They know each of their preferences and needs. The facility is always impeccably clean and the food is always delicious. The entertainment and recreation keep the residence entertained and occupied. Boulevard alp is committed to taking care of each resident as an individual and provide all the care that is needed. I am truly grateful to all the staff at Boulevard Alp and so happy my father was able to be in such a wonderful place.

When our dad went into to Blvd assisted living in June 2016, we were concerned that he wouldn't like it and wouldn't want to stay there. Our fears and concerns were unfounded. My dad, despite his need for assistance was able to live there for the next 5 years without any problems. He loved the synagogue, the Shabbos elevator and lectures and the glatt kosher food. He enjoyed the holiday BBQ's the Super Bowl parties, the challah making clases and making new friends there. Mark and I were there with him on Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur services and the Pesach seders and the davening there, and the holiday meals. They were great. Thank you also to the chefs, the kitchen staff and the servers, the dining room was like a hotel dining room and anything my father needed they provided for him. The administrators and staff treated our father like family and not just a resident. We will always be grateful for the assistance of all who work there. Thank you Bruce, Lisa, Sam , Pat and all the staff and administrators. My dad loved sitting outside in the patio and we played many chess games outside. When our father passed, the Blvd was kind enough to let us sit Shiva in his apt .and provided us with meals too. My brother and I would recommend Blvd Alps, to anyone considering putting loved ones who needs assistance there. We never worried about our father there. There is a doctor on premise and nurses. And the transportation dept was able to book vans for his medical appointments that were not in house, going and the return trip back.
