I had to visit someone at the Home and was impressed by the cleanliness and attention I saw given to the residents.

I have a friend's mom who lives here and she always raves about how friendly, attentive and helpful the staff are. She seems especially impressed that her mom's room and common areas are consistently clean and well-kept. A HUGE highlight is the garden (her mom loves flowers/plants) and the beach being so close by! Overall, she is extremely happy with the care her mom receives and often said she felt as though she was leaving her mom in the care of her own family. I visited recently and it lived up to the hype!! If and when the time comes for my own parents, this facility will definitely be my first choice!

The staff are very attentive to the residents needs. I was impressed as to how happy the residents were as I never get a good feel for adult homes. The rooms were clean as well as the common areas. It was so relaxing just to sit and look at the beautiful flowers in the garden while I visited my neighbor.

I have to say the staff is very caring ,compassionate and very understanding to my moms needs. My mom is all ways clean neat and well groomed. She loves the food which is a big plus because she is such a picky eater. Staff creates a very caring environment. I give them 5 stars which I think they deserve.

I have been visiting my brother at Mermaid Manor for the last 10 years and I would not trust any other residence except for Mermaid Manor for my brother. They are exceptional in making sure all residents are happy and get the best of care. The staff is super attentive, well organized, and professional. The facility is always very clean and always on top of whatever is needed.

I just want to say that this facility is absolutely amazing. It's clean, well kept, provides plenty of space for the residents, such as an outdoor yard with garden, a front area for them to hang out as well and walking distance to the beach, which I took advantage of with my granny. I am so happy that my granny was able to live out the remainder of her life at this facility. They took amazing care of her, kept me updated as to every aspect of her health and truly treated her like family. If you are looking for a place to send a loved one that will truly provide for them, this is the facility. The staff were wonderful, kind and hardworking, and they clearly care about the residents. I will be forever grateful to every single one of them.
